Hey guys,I´ve been using FS9 for quite sometime now. For a number of years my rig wasn´t exactly up to par with the specs necessary to have a very smooth simulation, specially considering the fact that I only fly Precision Manuals acft. About a year ago I finally upgraded my system to something that can really handle FS9. I used to fly with frustrating low to midrange display settings but took out that frustration in my boxing matches. Apart from PMDG´s NG and Queen for FS9, I now own a number of high-end add-on sceneries. Finally I´ve been flying on FS9 the way it was always meant to be. First off, let me say that I'm amazed by the wonderful works going on on the NGX. This is reproduction par excellence!!! I've seen those who were in a hurry to make quick money and produced the only 787 on the market today, and that aircraft, not only is it nowhere close to the 787 real life design, it''s an insult (I stand to be corrected) to boeing in my opinion! But since after buying the 744 and then the 8i/F extension. It even has much better Framerates than the F1 Mustang. I have looked at no other aircraft in FSX. I was tempted by the Airbus X, but from the reviews I gather it's all eye candy and minimum real life (if you understand what I mean). I haven't posted a…

Hi PMDG, I was thinking if a feature can be implemented in your cockpits, now as systems and their management grow complex in simulations, is it possible that while flying if I press a key (for this example lets call it "F1") small tags appear on different controls on the cockpit with the associated key to use it, like for Baro selector, if someone has assigned "B" key then a tag "B+-" comes next to the Baro Selector Knob on the EFIS control panel, a second press of "F1" should make it disappear.The reason I'm asking this is because when flying bad weather approaches with failures, last thing I want to do is to look for the assigned key to operate that control, even thoug…

Hey there everyone, I have some questions regarding what to buy as far as a hardware upgrade for christmas for my PC. I already have everything I need as far as FSX hardware and software which include the Saitek Rudder pedals, Pro Flight Yoke w/ another quadrant, and Track IR 5 PRO. For software I have all the "important" stuff like REX OD, UTX, GEX, FSUIPC, Concorde-X, 744/8, Level-D etc... Anyway, as you can see in my signature, those are my PC specs and I would like to upgrade any one hardware peice this Christmas, what should it be? I'm gonna let you guys decide. I have a crappy 350W PSU BTW so don't recommend anything too crazy

Greetings all,I've been having problems reinstalling my PMDG planes after my hard drive crashed. I was able to recover most of the files, but can't get them to work on my new system. I have FSX,and am using Vista.MD11: The plane loads, and has the engines running, however all of the displays are blank (black), and none of the buttons or switches move. When it comes to using monitors for your PC, it seems that people end up buying wide screens. For example ones that can go up to 1920x1080. I upgraded to a new PC and the graphic card will go up to this resolution. However I still have my dell 4:3 monitors 1024x720 because FS9 and FSX cockpits seem to be designed around the squarer 4:3 screens.What are PMDGs ambitions for wide screen Flight SImming, would they consider designing 2d cockpits for wide screen in the future? I understand that it is possible to edit the panels in Photoshop. A simple question guys.When I move the mouse my frames drop about a 10% in FSX, until the mouse cursor disappears after some 5 or 6 seconds. Does it happen to you too please?I'm not sure it's exclusively related to the mouse movement because it happens when I use my touchscreen too. Just wanted to know if it's just me or whatThanks

All I usually fly now is the PMDG 747, but I'm having numerous performance anomalys, namely freeze ups. I've installed theUiautomation core and HIGHMEMFIX. The CPU and memory usages look OK while running the task manager and the temperature also looks OK.
