Hi guys,This thread can be deleted when solved :) - thanksI have two drives, and one is for windows+everything, the other, is just microsoft FSX folder.When i install the microsoft 2008 redist c++ file, all the files go into the wrong drive, next to my FSX folder?Anyone can help me?Cheers

I have bought a new computer and want to re-install the 747-400, 747-400F and 747-400X - but how???Having logged into my PMDG account, it shows all three downloads links as 'expired' and suggests contacting PMDG Technical Support. Found this on the PMDG website:"When you purchse your PMDG product, you receive 7 days of free download access. All those newly released manuals - do they have any information about how the PMDG 737 is operated? I mean i guess there much be something that differs from the real thing since you control it with a mouse. So is this manual included in the released ones - or are they just copies of the real ones?

One of my favorite things about the Level D 767 I purchased years ago was the fact that it came with "life-like" cabin announcements which I feel add a whole new level of "realism" to the plane and makes you feel like you are really there. I know you can download FDSFX on avsim but then you need to run a seperate program and have to manually start each of the annoucements. Recently I saw this link about something the QualityWings guys are implementing into their 757 as an addon. I love this idea and I was just wondering if Airline specific PA system announcements will be included in the 737. Thanks guys- John

Hey all I find it impossibly difficult to learn off those PDF's given by PMDG simply because of the complexity and having to scroll down. Just feels tedious. Are there any others in my boat? And can anyone who has actually bought the physical manuals comment on how much easier it is. If it is lol. P.S Ryan please do report on ya GTX 570 performance ;D.

Hi allPleased to say that I have ordered the Flight Manuals for the 737NGX. I am having them shipped to the UK at vast expense. I then realised after ordering that I may have to pay additional fees! Please could anyone who purchased the MD11 manual from the UK let me know if you had to pay anything additional?- Fees - I am prepared for these import fees payable to Parcel Force. No way round these.- Duty - I think its about 2 or 3% - is this payable on the manuals?- VAT - I understand that books can in certain circumstances be zero rated and not subject to 17.5% VAT - does this apply to the manuals?Thanks all

Hi PMDG fans,So I got my chief set today (just a couple of hours ago) and thought I would give a very brief feedback of it. I'm sure you'll understand that I haven't read through the 3000 pages just yet so this really is a quick first impressions review of the set. Hey guys.I'm sure this has been gone over a dozen times in this forum but I wanted to start my own thread and see where I land. I have been a diehard FS9 fan for a very long time. I never switched to FSX do to the 'bugginess' of it. The NGX is going to be a assume aircraft and I think I'm ready to make the switch. I built my FS9 rig and now I want to do the same with the new FSX pc. So what should I be looking at in terms of hardware? OS? I don't need a big flashy case or all sorts of lights in it. So what hardware and OS do you suggest I go with? ThanksPS Please list what frames you get with your system if you describe yours please. Thanks!

Hello PMDG, before I get to the question, I would like to say first-off that your manuals for the NGX look amazing, I can only imagine holding the real thing in front of me, I have the Colored QRH in my sights for Christmas. As for the NGX, I recall way early on it was suggested by PMDG that there might be a possibility of a "Shared Cockpit" with this craft, I am very excited to hear more about this or maybe the decided outcome of this feature, I do alot of Vatsim flying, and if your telling me I can share this baby, and simulate multi-crew operation then wow o wow, I cannot wait. Are there any more details to be had on this, perhaps maybe someone from PMDG can elaborate …

I was just looking at the amazing screenshots and was wondering why the LCD screens are blue and not black? Is this because this is only an "in development" shot. I've noticed other add-ons also have the blue screens when their real world counterparts are black. Just wondering, I'm sure that with PMDG's level of detail and reputation that there is a good reason for this.Sarah Guiney.

Will we receive any sort of manual or quick start guide?I guess what I'm asking is will we be able to fly the plane with included documents rather than spend the cash on the paper manuals?

Hello eveyone!I've spent the last 3 hours mipmapping every single texture on my PMDG aircrafts, the results are astonishing! The Virtual Cockpit is amazingly sharp, same for the outside textures. Sorry if this is a stupid question, but....I like to set up the MD-11 just the way I want it in the PMDG load manager. If I want to fly with FSPassengers, when I start the flight and load the passengers and cargo through the FSPassengers flight initialization page, wont that change the weights/cg/etc that I already set up in the PMDG load manager? Is there a way to load passengers through FSPX so that I get paid, but without altering the weight of the aircraft? I hope this makes sense...Thanks!
