Dear all,What would be the most realistic WX set from REX2 to fly the NGX over Europe? Particularly, sky and clouds textures....I found my try with various REX set to be to much blue or to much purpleor orange for sunset or dusk.Any idea would be appreciated.Happy flights and best regards,Pierre

Hey guys,not really PMDG related but you guys are a clever bunch so....I had a question about the 777 mfd. When you enter the comm page on the MFD there is 6 sections at the top. 2 Say REVIEW and MANAGER. I was wondering what you do on these 2 pages of the comm page.Kind regards

Hi everyone. I just came up with a great suggestion for PMDG's next project(by this I mean the next thing they could work on once they realease any current projects in-development). A 787-8! Wouldnt that be the best? What do you guys think?

I was told that my chief pilot manuals more than likely left the PMDG HQ on the 16th or 17th. I chose USPS Express as my shipping option, which was not the cheapest way to go by any means... Though I needed it to be here well before Christmas. Anyway, it is now nearing the end of the 19th and still no confirmation that it's even shipped. I read Tabs post regarding shipping and noticed that I should be provided a tracking number when using USPS Express. Well seeings as it hasn't shipped (as far as I can tell) I was curious if there was another delay because of stock running out due to the high demands on the printer. If any of you have checked out the new photos uploaded to the PMDG facebook page you'll notice all the talk and discussion is about the new NGX screenies but there is a shot of the PMDG 1900D lifting off from an ORBX airport which as we know are fsx only. So is this a native fsx model or just a port over from the existing fs9 aircraft?Please please let this be an update of this old but amazing aircraft. Any thoughts?Richy

Hey everyone, these past weeks i've been thinking of joining VATSIM but i'm a bit worried and confused. To make it simple, i'd be screwed when it comes to the ATC part... I need to learn how to reply to them, what is important, what's not etc. where can I learn to do so? Also, what do I need to do to join?

HiI just installed Windows7 Ultimate 64 and reinstalled fs9. I have many addon aircraft and sceneries. I have a lot of flickering and shimmering(jagged runways,aircraft wings etc). I have an Athlon 64x2 5200+, 4gb DDR2 ram, Geforce 9800 GT vidio card. Is there some settings in the nvidia control panel or fs that I can correct this by changing? Can anyone help?ThanksPaul

Captain'sOrdered my Captain's set of manuals early Friday morning, and as of Monday afternoon it hadn't shipped.(still being processed). Also, there is now a note at the bottom of my order page ( was NOT there when I ordered) saying my manuals may be shipped in separate packages, because they may be coming from different warehouses. Is there a problem now with shipping and delivery, or maybe a stock problem?? Just asking the forum, are there any other customers in my situation? This weekend I supposed to go to New York for 5 days so I took this opportunity and ordered the 737 manuals (captain set) and let them be delivered at my hotel.But, this morning my grandpa passed away so obviously we are not going to New York any more.Because the package is already on its way to the hotel I called FedEx to let them sent the package directly to me. But They told me that the only one who could do that was the company itself. Hey guys, I just wanted to know why sometimes when I get a flightplan from FlightAware or with FSBuild, they sometimes don't have a SID or STAR on a plane like a 744 or 763? So then when it comes time to land at the airport, I have some crazy arrival and I have to run circles around the airport. Very rarely do I have a perfect dep and arr with a sid and star and a normal landing without doing some crazy manuevers to land.Is it normal to not have sids or stars sometimes? If so, then what do you do when you don't have one?

Hi guys,I do have the PMDG 747-400 queen of the sky, but got a probleme:1/ Whenever I start a flight with my 747-400 there is a message on top of my FS9 screen: The fuel tank is limited , you can modify by pressing ctrl+ X. Even if I do that nothing happen still get the message.Did anyone get this issue & sorted it out?Thanks for helpin' me

Hello,I was wondering, since the B717 has the same cockpit as the MD11 which you already developed so beautifully, is there any chance that you might make a B717 for FSX in the mix of developing your other projects?It would give us a short haul A/C which uses the same knowledge that we've acquired in learning to fly the MD11.Thank you,Bob

Ok soin the MD-11 we have the option to arm the doors via the FMC, but this doesn't really stop the doors being opened with shootsdeploying...In the NGX if a door i opened when armed will the slides deploy or will their not be any effect, because in reality itisn't even up to usto arm the doors, its up to the CC, so the function is practically irrelivant other wise.What are your opinions on this?

I'd like to get the automated callouts, 1000, 100, 50 etc.. at a volume similar to that heard in the flightdeck. I haven't had much of a chance to get this right with other aircraft but from what I have seen these callouts are mixed in with the general cockpit sound slider. So, turning this up also turns up everything else. With the 737NG will there be a way to get these callouts quite load without turning up all the other ambient noise?ThanksMark Austen

I want to ask about one of your previous payware productsI do have your payware PMDG Beachcraft 1900 C&D models for FS9.I no longer have FS9.I'm running FSX now.Is there anyway I can use this plane in FSX?.If not will there be any update/patches for the 1900's to work in FSX??.If not I gues the end result would be,I'd have to buy it all over again for FSX?.Thanks for any feedbackGrayRider

Hello, I just placed my order for the Chief Pilot 737 manuals and noticed they are shipping to my billing address. I need to change the shipping address to something different than the billing address ASAP! I submitted a ticket in the knowledge database but figured this may be a quicker solution. Should I just PM the PMDG folks with the correct address? Does one of the mods (Ryan, Vin, Robert) just want to PM me? I'd just like to make sure it gets changed before it ships out and without any delays as I've paid extra for express shipping. Thanks all and really looking forward to diving into these manuals. Call me old fashioned, as I am old, but I have no desire to get on Facebook. The risks involved with a total lack of privacy totally outway any benefits.Will PMDG's decision to go on Facebook result in some information, pictures etc only being available there or will all be simultaneously available on the PMDG forum?The announcement indicates some special offers will be available only on Facebook.
