Dear all,Just discovered that aircraft in real life have the capability to get ATIS info on there FMC, by entering the ICAO code, they can see all the airports ATIS info... Will that be in the NGX? Although I can totally understand if its not, but I still am suprised that there is actually a way to do that. Now I know how they can expect what runway!Thanks,Spencer Hayes

hi i use a 24in monitor and the native resolution is 1920x1080 i have my desktop set at this resolution, now running fsx should i use the same resolution or have it set different, will i see a difference or not when running fsx in different resolutions.

Hi,I'm going to make detailed terminal procedures (SID/STAR) for my favorite airports. I wonder if NGX will use the navigation data files of the same format as their previous products. Hello all,I have a Dell XPS 420. Its not a bad computer at all. It comes with the Intel E8500 series dual core processor @ 3.15 GHz.Windows Vista 64 bit90% of my planes fly at better than 25 FPS. But my PMDG 747 performs significantly lower than this. Now I am not complaining about this. Its an advanced plane. In the air 17-23 FPS. On the ground at lets say jfk >10 FPS. On the ground at lets say KVCV <13 FPS. This is not something I particularly enjoy at times, but it is something that I have come to accept. The only time I ever crash due to low memory is when I am flying the PDMG747. I noticed I use 70-72% of my virtual memory when flying the 747, but only 56% when using the LD767 and 50% when using the default Cessna. I was wondering if other users see the same results. (What % of virtual memory are you seeing?) In all cases I am getting 30+ fps and the CPU is only at 50%BTW: At 73%, it seems like I crash, so I am right at the edge of disaster. If I don't change views too much I can complete a flight with the 747.I know my problem is Vista 32. Hey all a few days ago some bad things happend actually i got myself a new cooler for my cpu in hope to overclock it so ican get a fast and nice fsx.As happy i was while i tried to install the cooler my mobo got damaged in the process (my mistake) so i got myself a new mobo yesterday the MSI P55-GD65 and installed the cooler right this time(learned it the hard way eh?) We all know how well the MD-11 turned out - The PMDG team went all out and created an extremely complex and beautiful aircraft. And then they did it again with the J41, and now they're about to release their biggest project to date - the PMDG 737NGX. But what about the aging 747? Compared to the MD-11, the J41 and the NGX the 747 must be ridiculously outdated in terms of complexity, just like the old 737. What are your thoughts on this? Will there be a PMDG 747X 2.0, or are you happy with it the way it is now?

Dear all,REALLY don't want to waste your time, but I had no luck on FSX forum. I was looking at the page for the 744 on PMDG's website and I realized that under minimums it said SP2 needed to be installed. I went to the website to get SP2 and it said if you have Acceleration(which I do), dont install it... THEN I learn that you need SP1, which I couldn't find online, so my question is, is Acceleration SP1 AND SP2? Or is it somthing else? Forgive me, RSR & PMDG, but is there a single web page or link list via which all NGX pics and textual info released so far are accessible? I've found it hard to backtrack through the forum, seeking any screen shots of the panels, landing gear, FMC etc. If no such progressive collection exists, can anyone suggest search terms which will return only the official releases rather than all the ecstatic responses, grumbles, queries etc.? Hi,The pmdg ngx is near to being released. After the ngx is released what do pmdg plan on making next? I think they should try to make another boeing. But it an Airbus would be awesome! Hi all,I really would like to upgrade my current processor, the Intel Core 2 Duo E6750. I like it if I can upgrade max. to €200. Hmm. I have $68 AUD - and have 9 add-ons my list to buy! LOL. 2 of them are PMDG. Here is my list....:1- PMDG JS41 w/ FS2Crew2- PMDG JS41 w/o FS2Crew3- PMDG 747 (I cannot get FS2Crew aswell (im about $10 short - unless PMDG or FS2Crew want to give me a slight discount :()4- QualityWings 7575- Milviz C310R6- A2A Spitfire w/ Accusim7- Any ORBX scenery (I could get YBCS & another one)I know Im sure what people are going to say, so consider it between the PMDG add-ons, lol.
