Hi PMDG. I remember reading that all the manuals that are for sale regarding the 737 NGX are also available with the download when the aircraft comes out.If I bought the full set with my New Zealand exchange rate it equates to $434.00. Its a hell of a lot of money, over half of my weekly take home pay. Even theCaptains Flight Manual set would set me back $328. Just as a comparison, if the 737NGX is the same cost the MD11 it would be around $104 N.Z I'm not saying they are not worth it, just a high cost.Is there anyway you can make the PDFs available for download even if there is a cost which is then maybe set as a deposit for the 737NGX. I dont even mind paying the whole…

Can anyone recommend a good Taxi program for PMDG heavies? I'm using one can't recall the gauge name, it works ok, but the taxi speed is nowhere near steady and takes a lot of tweaks for turns/etc.

From FSX using PMDG aircraft perspective, would I gain anything by installing a sound card rather then use the onboard sound? Just trying to give FSX and PMDG all the hardware resources possible and I can't think of a better forum to ask this question then here. Any suggestion would be appreciated. Now that I'm retired, I can afford to give more time to my hobby of flight simulation, so want to make it as smooth as I can.Bob DemarestBirmingham, Al.

Hi all,In a few months I would like to upgrade my computer so it can run Flight Simulator X with PMDG products and several add-ons very very well. I did some research at several websites and also read some posts here and I noticed that the Intel i7's are very great for Flight Simulator. Especially the "Sandy Bridge" chips of Intel are very well.Weil having a look at a website, I saw an "Upgrade Kit" for your computer. The "kit" contains the following:- P67A-GD65 (MSI)- i7 2600- 4 GB RAM(Upgrade Kit - website)But I have some questions about this:- Won't the i7 2600K be better? What are the differences between 2600 and 2600K? Is it worth the penny to pay alot more for the "…

Dear PMDG Team, I saw this photo on Airliners.net of a brand new 737-800. Instead of the "standard" VHF NAV tuning panels on the Aft Electronic panel, I saw what looked like an LCD NAV tuning panel. Will you be giving this as an option ? If not, with your tie-up with Boeing and access to data, can you give a brief explanation of what that is and what it does ? That would be much appreciated. Regards,Dinshaw Parakh.

Hello PMDG, I have a serious question: Will the NGX have flushing toilets and if so; will the pnumatics/vacum system be correctly modelled?? Sorry for my slight ironic tone and maybe some ignorance towards some detailed minds out there. Ps. might be under the influence of some great french wine... ;)

Dear PMDG or anyone able to answer this question. This is a question I've been Longing to ask, Have you ever noticed apon landing and Reverse Thrust and Brakes being applied, and then the spoilers and flaps shake? That's my question will there be Spoiler / Flap shake?Antoher scenario is before landing, and the flaps enter the airstream You hear the Shaking and Rumbling that is so beautiful . It's a small feature, and I'm sure you've got more important features to worry about. I know the PMDG 747 has the spoiler shake because my friend has it.Also this will be my first transition to PMDG from Freeware. But I had the PMDG 737 For Flight Simulator 2004.

And why the 2 steps that are the same one after each other? Can anyone clear this for me.Thanks,

Hi everybody out there, I'm new here an I just wanted to introduce myself and ask a first question.I've checked out the descriptions of the PMDG Manuals of the 747 and 737NGX on their website. I'm a bit confused about the number of pages in both products. While the total content of the Flight Crew Ops Manuals (1+2) + Training Manual + QRH is about 2400 pages in the case of 747, the 737NGX stuff counts about 3500 pages. I've read that this are original manuals? Why are there more pages in 737 manuals than in 747? (1100?) Sorry for this question, but I'm really in serious trouble, I'm not able to decide wether I'll buy the 747 X with the fabulous manuals or wait for the 737…

Hi,as a quite experienced offline and online pilot of the FS2004 - PMDG 737 NG - do I have to study the basic manuals and tutorials first or will it be possible to place myself in the cockpit of the new PMDG NGX and start the well known procedures of the old PMDG 737 ?

I have decided to upgrade my system to an Intel i5 2500 (can't afford the i7!)and also to Windows 7. Is there any advantage in the 64 bit v 32 bit?Can I use 8gb of memory with the 32 bit or must I get 64 bit.Amazing but I still use XP and a single core AMD 4000! But it runs MD11 very wellso long as I have virtually no scenery or aircraft or weather!!So now is the time to move. Any thoughts on this will be much appreciated. Thanks,David
