In anticipation of the NGX (which is supposed to have RNP modeled) I was curious about RNP and RNAV in general. I use RNAV approaches/departures at the airports that support these procedures in the PMDG 747/MD11 and wanted to learn more about what RNP is and how it could impact the workflow of the pilot in the NGX when its released. Good morning everybody,I plan to buy PFE but before buying i'd like to know how to install it. Do i only have to execute the program and it installs over the FSX ATC and that's it? Also if i don't like it and i want to uninstall it how can i get back to the FSX ATC program. Do i have to reinstall FSX? Many thanks and sorry for my bad english.

Hi there guys,I was wondering, how can I add the Kai Tak airport, and other airports that aren't in the FMS database, into the FMS database? I want to also be able to put the SID's, STAR's and approaches in there.How????Thanks. :)Paul

Hi allFirstly if this has been asked before sorry for asking again...!:( Is this gorgeous, wonderful, sexy, hypnotic, amazing (and all the other adjectives possible) 737NGX going to be compatable with FS2004?.:( I've just spend the last 6 weeks on FSX but just can't get on with it so in the process of reinstalling FS2004...... trouble is I'd hate to miss out on something that looks soooooo good!:( Yhanks for any ideas..Adrian

I am one of the excited group anxiously awaiting NGX.I had envisioned my setup to be with 2D panels (2 - 22" monitors) and a 42" TV. With the instrument panel on the monitors and the scenery on the TV.Now I am starting to have second thoughts after seeing the HUD in the VC and seeing some videos of the Trackir 5.What are you guys using for displays, and what is the future of simming displays...is it all going to VC?I have always enjoyed having the instrument panel static in front of me and being able to see the scenery on a separate source. I have just purchased PMDG 747-400X ,every thing working fine, but I would like to use radar contact if pos. Ican get every thing working ok until I hand over to the co pilot ,I hear him say my plane but he does not control it and I can not find nav1 or nav2 or can you only change that in FMC useually co pilot sets the nav . Hello,I´m currently installing my PMDG Aircrafts and all paints. Just for example: The PMDG MD-11 has about 100 paints included on the DVD. For every installer you need 4 or 5 clicks, I think. That are about 400-500 clicks for all paints for ONE Airplane. Okay, the 747 doesn´t have so much paints. But anyway: Is there a way to install all paints with a few clicks? Maybe with an repaint manager (I think the LevelD 767 has one)?I´d appreciate it if PMDG would publish a repaint Manager for their Aircrafts.Best regards,NilsP.S: I´m sorry for my bad english, but I hope you understood me ;)

I have buy a Intel Core i7 2600K, and a ASUS P8P67 EVO Motherboard. (I ignore the chipset bug, it is minimum posibilities, and no important).Hope FSX will be much better with this PC.Regards

Hi All. Am having one hek of a problem with my X52 stick for several weeks now and can't seem to fix. Have contacted Saitek tech. support but no reply yet so thought i would see if any fellow PMDG drivers (or any other a/c) have come across this one. I am running Win7 (64bit) Pro and have downloaded, redownloaded, installed, uninstalled and reinstalled the latest W7-64bit drivers and software and just can't solve this issue. If i use my x52 as just plug and play and use FSX controls settings options, everything works just great. Only trouble is i can't program all of my PMDG 747 into my X52 buttons without SST profiling software and this is where my problem starts. As soo…

I wanted to let you know I have just taken delivery of the PMDG branded NGX Flight Crew Operations Manual and Flight Crew Training Manual, and I intend to do some deep studying of the systems in preparation for the PMDG NGX. I am currently studing the normal procedures for startup and takeoff/climb/cruise, and have noticed the inclusion of separate instructions tailored for specific options in regards to the revision of the FMC (U10.7 and older, or U10.8 and later). Knowing that the PMDG bird is going to have a myriad of customer specific options for systems displays, visual cosmetics like winglets or eyebrow windows, and even the availability of a short-field runway …

Hello,I'm trying to open the .jar file of FPS Limiter 0.2 but I still can't. When clicking at the .jar file, it comes with a flashing DOS screen. A DOS screen appears for 0.5 secondes and then disappears. Then nothing happends.I really need help because I want to give FPS Limiter 0.2 a try.

Hello again.I am trying to install one of the liveries off the PMDG website for my 747-400X.I have downloaded it and then pressed the .exe file to let it install. I checked the installation directory to confirm that was where I wanted it to go. When I started FSX the new livery wasn't included.I use Windows 7, 64bit with FSX SP2 Accelleration.CheersPhil Foster

I've been really getting into the J41 recently, mainly to keep me busy until the NGX is out. I have to say the J41 is superb, in particular with the addition of the voice activated Fs2Crew...However, I've got to point whereby I'm flying IFR flights and finding that the default FSX ACT just isn't cutting it. In fact it is painful at times!Which of the offline ATC programs are you guys using? I've had a read into Radar Contact and VoxATC, both look really good. Radar Contact seems to be more tailored towards IFR flights (fine) and VoxATC is voice activated (perfect!) but seems to be expensive. With VoxATC it also seems that SIDS & START can be problematic?
