Seems the saitek 'Proflight' range (that's a :Just Kidding:laugh ) aren't any use for quality addon aircraft.Has anyone by any chance found a way of controlling PMDG aircraft with these panels?I'm mostly interested in the gear and flap command levers but obviously would like more.The gear lever will actually control all but the middle gear on the MD-11, but the inside lever doesn't move though.Please don't bother sending me to the saitek forums. They simply ignore any and all questions they can't answer :(

Hey all, I was tempted to take a try at VATSIM and installed the voice client and then decided I didn't like so de-installed it and now several add-ons don't work. Notably here, the 747 and the MD11. (The J41 works for some reason.) I tried repair installs of both and that didn't work. The 747 issue appears to be the xml.dll problem, so I'll edit that tonight and see if that works. If not, I'll uninstall and reinstall from scratch, I guess.The MD-11, however, I can't isolate. As soon as I select the MD-11 from the list of planes, I get a CTD. Is this the same issue as the dll.xml, or is it something else? Am I better just unistalling ad re-installing? For what i…

Hey all I purchased and installed 747x tonight then proceeded to install Liverys, after loading fsx I cant see any liverys even when show all.I have win 7 so they are installed in c:/fsx when installing Liverys should they be installed in c:/fsx? Or something like c:/fsx/simobjects/airplanes ? I'm lost on this one any help?

Please forgive me if this is in the wrong section. I was wondering if I could use the pmdg 737 2 d panel in other freeware planes? Will the fmc work if you do this? I found a plane the HSST. I like it. A very nice future concept of air travel. The default panel is just lacking and after learning the fmc thought it would be nice to be able to use it in another plane.Vincent

Does the command COLOCATED work in the FIX box instead of LATLON? I am updating LAX for this cycle and there are some RNAV waypoints I need to add. I don't know their PMDG coordinates so I am using this but havn't tried it. Has anyone else done this?

Okay, I've been searching and searching for a fix to my problem of going out of full view and back into the full screen mode and getting graphics corruption and ending up with a black screen with sound only. Now, bear with me here, I see so many different options and so called "fixes" for this problem, that I can't keep up with it all. So, if someone could politely point me into the correct fix (if there is one) for me to correct my black screen problem, it would be greatly appreciated. For the record, I know how to search and I have been doing this for the last 4 hours now and there seems (to me) to be so many opinions on what you should do to correct it. Thank you.…

So the sun is shining today in Phnom Penh, the capital of Cambodia. I've had a fun trip so far. I've seen Angkor Wat, Killing Fields and tomorrow I'm heading to Vietnam. (Good thing since I'm all out of Dollars hehe)Although my trip through Nam is strictly by train, I haven't all forgotten airtravel!On march the 24th. Hi,One of the many great advantages with FSX is surround sound. That's engines sounding behind you and wind noises infront etc. It adds massively to the realism. I have been puzzled why any new aircraft I have bought (I think that includes the Jetsream and the major players in the soundpack business) has had stereo Wav files which are not in the correct format for surround sound to work. It seems you need mono files and then FSX decides which channels to play it- by information in the config?.I can't think of an exception, so I guess there must be a reason- but when I convert the wav files for engines and wind to mono, surround sound subsequently works normally.Maybe mono…

There are several airport in Australia that I plan to fly the NGX into. These airports ALL have published instrument procedures (usually RNAV approaches). I currently update my cycels with Navigraph but they are missing A LOT of very very good/important airports. Is it possible to add my own navdata using Coordinated from my Apporaches Plates? They would be like RNAV Runway 32 etc. If it is possible maybe there is a tutorial somewhere, thanks muchCheeers

Hello,this morning i wanted to fly the MD11. When i was at the gate in EDDM suddenly a line on my screen appeared which was handeling the pixels very (well how can i explain that) bad.After closing the flightsim this line didn't disappear and now it's there all the time.What do you think, may this be a problem with some graphicdrivers caused by a problem with the MD11 (It happened very often that the screen just turned black while flying the MD11 in the last few weeks) or is this a problem with my monitor?I'm glad if anyone can tell me that this is a problem with the graphic drivers in my computer, cause i don't want to buy a new monitor because this one is just about one…

Just bought 747-400X download from PMDG. PayPal thought the transaction was possibly fraudulent and sent emails to both parties. PMDG has not responded to PayPal's several emails (although they have already debited me), my email, support ticket, or phone calls. The sale shows as pending now (although I was able to download after purchase), the download link is gone, and the product will not activate.Do these guys work normal business hours and how long does it typically take them to resolve customer issues?I thought it going to be as simple as purchase, install, use. The Hawg has saved me from N.O.S., otherwise known in the DSM IV as NGX Obsessive Disorder. Since I got my Track IR 5 and Hawg-10C simulator on Wednesday this is the first time I've glanced at this forum. I've been so busy learning to fly and fight the beautiful Hawg that I haven't even tried my Track IR in FSX!!!! There are about 10 or 11 steps to dropping a JDAM. It takes repitition to get really good at it. All that mental energy that I've been wasting picturing myself flying the WILEE ONE RNAV arrival into KAUS in a LUV NGX is now put to good use. hello,just two quick question which are surely quick to answer. ;-) where do i get the decison altitude for an approch to an airport. i looked in the navigraph charts for several airport, but i didn't found it. and the second question just for my understatement. the decision altitude is the altitude on which you must have a visual contact to the runway. if not you heve to go arround. is that right?thanks for answers alreadynicolas reich

Hi All,I thought I would share my flight today with RA Duke Turbine: IFR L06 (Death Valley; Furnace) to KSFO (ILS 19L approach) in the Screen Shot forum, labeled Glorious Duke Turbine.Check out the Gauge reflections and dust.
