Hello,Last time here and there I read something about the SSD's, the Solid State Drivers. The SSD is a kind of a drive but works much faster than a regular drive. You can see it as an extra drive (like a D:// or E://). Correct me if wrong!- Now my questions:What will a SSD exaclty do with FSX, if FSX has been installed at the SSD ofcourse. A problem if you just install Win7 at a regular drive and ONLY install FSX stuff at the SSD? And last, how many GB is needed/recommend? I think, when using more add-ons -> bigger SSD.I think a SSD of 40GB would we well. How do you guys see against these new SSD's? Do you recommend it? I wanted to know what settings I should be using with my integrated graphics card. Should I use that line under the graphics section in the FSX.cfg "ForeFullScreenVsync=1?" I have 2 options in my GPU control panel under Vertical Sync: Application settings, and ON, which should I be using? Also, in FSX settings, should I use Anisotropic or Trilinear? In my GPU control panel I see that I can chose up to 16x Anisotropic filtering but obv that wouldn't be recommended because it's too much for my GPU. If you all could take the time to help me that'd be nice.

Anyone DL w7 sp1 yet? I tried this morning but the installation failed and I have not had time ti try again.

Immediately after uninstalling the unregistered version of FSUIPC 95% of my wind problems I've been having lately disappared. Now I only have small annoying gusts every now then which is normal for FSX. Before the uninstall I got extreme wind fluctuations up to a range of 80kts that would throw my PMDG 747 around like a ragdoll. At cruise level it would violently drop to almost stall speed or go into overspeed several times every 10 min. It's also important to note that I did not have any problems like this before I installed FSUIPC. What in the world is going on here, why is FSUIPC causing this? I can't fly the VRS F/A-18 without it, so what do I do?

I am flying the JS41 and notice a problem with the FMS. I'm not sure whether this will be a cross platform problem?I have the latest Navigraph AIRAC Jan 11. Hi all,today I've tried a manual pattern with the 747-400X and what I was wondering if any other have the issue, that the plane loosing its bank after you center your flightcontrol. I've tried the MD11 and voilá it keeps the bank´as it should be in real life.Maybe its just my Flightsim but when you fly the real 747, the bank stays as long as you do not turn your yoke in the opposite direction.Thanks...Sven

I am looking forward to help with a critical choice. So, I am looking forward to update to any model Core i7 Processor, I know I would have to buy a new motherboard as well. My question is, how does one determine the motherboard to buy for a specific motherboard. Also, are motherboards designed to fit in any Case? This will be my first update as I fried my last processor overclocking . Any help is appreciated.One other thing should I be more worried about Video Card vs. Processor. Thanks guys!

What is going on with PMGD support??? I want to open a tkt with them on the J41 and a real strange problem. I go to the support page and open the usual account thing blah-blah-blah. It tells me to verify my email address by clicking on the bar so I do. I go to my email 'cause theres supposed to be a message with a link (again blah-blah-blah) there's nothing there from them. I go back to the PMDG support page. It tells me my email hasn't been verified. Verify it again.. same thing. I know the 777 is a ways away (after the Dash 8 as I understand it). I was wondering if you guys would consider implementing the folding wings on the 777. I know that no airline has taken this option, but I think it is still an interesting feature.Just my two centsTravis Menard

I recently purchased PMDG 747-400x and downloadedall the manuals I could get my hands on. All the printed material refers always to FS9 and not FSX. I dont know if there is any difference in the printed guides but I was a little disspointed that a new product designed for FSX would only include doumentation for FS9. Any comments.Peter

I plan to start a mini cockpit project and wonder which is the best road to maximize LEVEL-D and PMDG compatibility now (with PMDG 747 and LEVEL-D 767) and in the future (PMDG 737NGX and LEVEL-D B757).Which brand of hardware should I choose? CP Flight, GoFlight, Flightdeck Solution, Open Cockpits or other?I plan to first start up with a ready build MCP and add in IO boards and make some panels by my own. Hello Captains.I have a very annoying problem.The situaton is the following:When i am whenever up in the air after a small changes (or big doesnt matter) in wind direction and/or windspeed i'm experiencing with pmdg 747 (and with every other aircraft but i fly mostly the Queen) very big fluctuations in airspeed. Sometimes the A/C accelerates 20-30knots in a second or sometimes even more, after when an other windchange occurs the aircraft slows down in the same way.I use registered version of fsuipc but it doenst really helped, just made a little bit better. i attached the wind settings in fsuipc.This issue is very frustrating and makes the flying very unrealistic and ca…

Hi all,Very interested in byuing the MD-11 and the 737 NGX when it comes out, however I wonderif any PMDG product use FSUIPC in their setup (to work with FSX..).Really trying to avoid producs using FSUIPC, since it seems it messeswith the winds in FSX. And don't really want to buy the pay version, to fix a problem thefreeware verision creates..:)

Seems I've dropped a clanger by purchasing the Saitek range of panels for my addon aircraft :blink:I incorrectly thought they were programmable, but apparently they're not, which I find astounding to say the least.I have a registered version of FSUIPC and wondered if anyone else had found a way of either changing button asignments, or making these panels work with addon aircraft, like PMDG etc?I've seen it mentioned that it's possible via means of 'offsets' in FSUIPC, but don't understand that one bit.I have asked at the FSUIPC support forum, but it seems there's some unsavory politics going on with saitek and FSUIPC, so doubt I'll get any help there.Any help at all much …
