Well, this forum has been a little bit not so busy lately, so I decided to start a new topic that is at the same time a poll, for us have some fun and learn how can we improve our simulation experience. I've been thinking about purchasing some new stuff to upgrade my Flight Simulator for the arrival of the NGX and thought: "Hey, maybe other people are doing the same!", so I decided to ask. I have been hoping that PMDG will make the 747 for Flight but does anyone know whether this will happen or not because the 747 needs a new upgrade to be back up there with the NGX, MD-11 etc?

Hello!Could PMDG include video tutorial with the NGX rather than the pdf tutorial? I've recently purchased the J41 but I've not yet understood all the systems because of some "unclear" understanding of the "text tutorial" and I don't want to learn for weeks before I'll be able to fly correctly. A video tutorial would be the best aid for a beginner. I know that there will be some video tutorial on the web but I guess if you make one for the NGX that would be great. :(

Hello all, I hope the Administrators will bear with me on this post. I was wondering how important Preview DirectX.10 was in relation to the effectiveness or otherwise to PMDG aircraft whether it is enabled or not. This question came about when I tried installing an addon airport and on running FSX the scenery was tearing and the FSX vehicles were unrecogniseable. On enquiring at the addon airport Forum a member suggested Disabling DirectX10 and the problem disappeared. Many thanks in advance. richard welsh.

Hello there,I bought the boxed 737-600/700 years ago and I've only recently learned to (re-)appreciate it. Now I'm looking into the 737-800/900 expansion and had a few questions. What payment options does the PMDG webshop accept? I've navigated through the shop and am looking at the 800/900, there's a link called product page for more info, but that gives me a "404 - File or directory not found" error. I can get to that page using the products menu, but I thought you'd like to update that link.What I cannot find on the product page is what it does with my 600/700 install. It needs it, but does it get updated at all with new features that have been borrowed from the 800/90…

When I downloaded the MD-11, I had to place it in the Program Files X86 slot and I assume that I could not load the software into the X64 slot. Is this correct? Also, when the 737 NGX comes out, will it automatically search out the Program Files X64 slot and put it there instead of the X86 (32-bit) slot? I don't really understand the difference between the X86 versus the plain 64-bit program files. jen noulet

Hello there!I recently got a PMDG 747(:D) for birthday, but when i were gonna install it, it came an error when i validated the product key etc. Later i found out that the installation where unable to connect to the pmdg sites (?). I tried to open their page to find out whats the problem, but i couldnt get into it! I tried all from mozilla to opera. Then i tried from another comp. and it worked. So i think im banned or something from the site :( A few questions;Will i "forever" be able to use the product key? So after the NGX wallpaper that was posted on the facebook page, decided i would like a few more and remember seeing some of the MD11 when it was released. However it appears the wallpaper links on the J41 and MD11 pages are dead :(. I'm assuming this happened when PMDG updated their servers a few months ago. Am i looking in the wrong place? Hello,Will I need a registered version of FSUIPC to fly NGX in real-world weather mode? I used to fly PMDG's 747, but after few minutes in the air it would start rocking from side to side. I asked for the support on the forum, and I was told to buy FSUIPC and use wind smoothing option or something like that. I decided not to.Now, how about NGX? Will this issue be present in the NGX?Thanks

I know this probably not the best forum to ask but its my last resort at the moment . Is there any one else experiencing connection issues with feelthere map networked edition with PMDG aircraft? Ive tried everything in the manual and their forums but still getting "Not Connected" message along with trouble connecting the telnet client to the host. Any ideas anyone?

Having problem with the RWY/Dept Area within the FMS set up.I keep getting WRONG Format error for rwyslope/wind. According to tutorial it states the MSFS does not recognize RWY slope . If the winds per ATIS is 130 05 I thought you would enter 1305.. Also if you are using a SID but your CLR is to M 14000 expect FL340 in 10. How do you set the ALTITUDE. All you can is lower it not raise it. Nothing in the manual as far as I can see. The tutorial1 doesn't help with my problem either!!THANKS!Scand

Hi guys,I have problem viewing this forum these days. Sometimes (it doesn't happen all the time but quite often on these days), the upper half of my screen turned black and I couldn't see the post. So I finally bothered to install FSrecorder after I got my new CPU, I was doing a routine flight when midway an engine went out, shortly after engine 3 and 4 stopped working so I was left with 1 engine (engine 2) so I decided to go to TNCM as it was pretty much my only option. Now I had to make a retardedly steep descent. I did an ok landing, hit it pretty hard but my passengers survived lol.Quick editing as I didn't feel like spending hours doing it :( PS: I hit the speed brake button twice on landing by accident so thats why u see them go down and up after I touchdown lol
