Greetings all, Does anyone know how to modify FSX in order to have separate drop-down items for the 737 winglet and non-winglet versions? I'm referring to the "free flight" startup screen (select aircraft/aircraft type). Both WL and non-WL versions are combined within that aircraft type (-700. -800, etc). How do I change it to have it separated? Many thanks

Hi ! I just found an interesting thread on the Flightsimlabs forum. Oone of the leading developers of the vatsin client said that there will be an acars (CPDLC) inplementation in the new client and an interface for third party developers and those who are interestet should contact him. Is this an option for the PMDG Team to include it in their planes once upon a time? I listened to Roberts wise words recently spoken at an AVSIM event. That was actually one of the reasons why I decided to re-install X-Plane10 - the enthusiasm he put on this new platform, and the promise of an upcoming PMDG product for XPX. Hi captains, My question is why in almost all FSX aircraft addons tutorials I've seen out there, after turn on the battery (or batteries), right away the next step is turn on the APU, when in real daily airliners operations, most of airlines policy is turn on the APU just a few minutes prior pushback? PLEASE, don't take this thread as a negative criticism, since I feel a deep respect for ALL of those people who spent time to nicely prepare a tutorial which will later helps thousands simmers (like me!) around the world. I have a thread going in the main fsx forum but wanted to ask in here as well. I want to get a MCP to use with my PMDG NGX and the upcoming 777. Not to keen on GoFlight. I am looking at CPFlight or the one at Jetmax (www.jetmax.ca). CPFlight has the MCP737PRO & MCP737EL. I want the one that is easiest to interface with the pmdg software. Hi! Can someone tell me the best settings for the Saitek Pro Flight Yoke (In FSX settings,sensitivity etc) ? I want the most realistic aircraft behavior and my fsx controller settings (sensitivity, null zone) are very unrealistic. Can you post a pic with your settings? It´s very important vor me because i have some problems with my 737-800NGX during landing. Sometimes my landings are to hard or to soft because i can´t really get a nice flare with my controller settings. Greetings, Maurice

Hi I tried installing FS Commander and since then the autopilot cannot maintain a heading set on the MCP For some reason it always holds a heading 5 degrees to the left of what I command. I have tried uninstalling and then reinstalling both FSX and the NGX but it still does it. I also uninstalled FS Commander and restored the system prior to its installation but that has not helped either Has anyone had this problem Thanks

Anyone using the program? I'm wondering how it performs and if you see an increase in immersion. Specifically I plan on using it with the JS41 and the NGX. I cannot find a review on AVSIM. Sim physics X is also another I am looking into.

I love flying the 737NGX with all the flight deck funtionality it provides. Any chance that PMDG will bring that to a business jet model? I'd love to fly a Global Express, Falcon, or G650 with all the bells and whistles. Mike

PMDG Simmers! Keiron here,Over the past week i've being trialing out this new software that frees up memory. It's so good that on average I have over 900mb RAM free and memory load has literaly halfed! That's whilst sitting @ busy airports or approaching with ASA & PMDG 744 or MD-11 never mind flying!.Yep in the past there's been alot of debate about memory cleaners and optimises wether they really work. Well i'm not even gonna go down that lane because this one bloody works! Usually my flightsim would be using between 1gig -1.3gig or RAM and slowly creaping up to 1.4gig in worst case scenarios before OOM. Either that or i'd be left with about 90 -220mb RAM left, fluc…
