I currently run at 4096, but I'm wondering if it matters anyways for the VC textures of the NGX or the soon-to-be-released-I-hope 777 and the MD11. Or, is this only for the global environment (clouds, ground, etc.)? Thanks

I just saw this news article from FlightGlobal a few minutes ago, and I would like to get your response. (I guess this is a good forum as I assume you guys do most of your simming in large "Transport category aircraft".) When was your last go-around? What was the reason? Do you usually fly the full IFR missed approach procedure to holding or just re-position visually or via vectors? Did you screw up or bust a restriction on your last Go-around? Also do you routinely use the some sort of "traffic zapper" if AI traffic gets in your way? Greetings all, After years of procrastination, I FINALLY bought a new Saitek yoke/rudder system. Before I start installing it, any suggestions/tips/pointers which might be useful? I don't want to install things and then have to backtrack and do it all over again. I also bought an extra throttle, so how would I incorporate that into the system? I'll be using it mostly with the PMDG planes. Many thanks.

I use PMDG 747 and 737, when landing at SBGR 27R, cannot capture the LOC. Anyone have the same problems? I use default SBGR and Airac 1307.

First post, sorry if already discussed but I can't find anything. I'm using CH's Fighterstick, Pro Throttle and Pedals. I'm having trouble calibrating my Fighterstick but it's related to the PMDG aircraft only. All FSX stock airplanes work fine, all joysticks work perfectly loading ANY stock FS airplanes. But using PMDG's B737ng, the B747 & MD11 I have identical problems. The pedals & throttle are fine but the Fighterstick: a - noise coming from somewhere, continual erratic movements. The other day a was flying the PMDG 737 NGX visual landing at Insbruck (aerosoft Insbruck). The frames were stuttering. The next day I wanted to start FSX but it didn't startup and could only be stoped with task manager When I log in as "administrator" FSX works fine; when I log in with my own name (with administrator rights) FSX doesn' t start up. Hello, Am I chasing the impossible..? Despite owning what is I think is an above average pc to run both FSX and PMDG smoothly - I continue to be frustrated by the lack of smoothness at most if not all stock airports during takeoff and landing with an average FPS of 23 when flying my 737NGX instead of the stock Microsoft aircraft where I can achieve an average FPS of 34. For information I do utilise a 3 x 22" widescreen setup using TrackIR and AMD Eyefinity Multi Display with a resolution of 5760 x 1080 @ 60 Hz (Bezel Compensation = 6048 x 1080 @ 60 Hz) and also utilise these additional programs...FSGlobal2010, AS2012 for weather and REX for textures. What about a stand-alone EFB? Not the EFB for the T7. Something we can buy separately and use no matter what add-ons we have. There's one out there from another vendor, and I bought it, and absolutely despise it. Don't ask me the name, group, because I don't want to crap on them, just that I personally don't like it. It has a lot of... shall we say, inaccuracies? Anyway, if anyone could do it right, I think PMDG could. How about it? Robert? Tabs? I can more or less start up an NGX without the aircraft yelling at me later, and I was wondering if the MD11 has as complex a startup or is it not built that way? By the way I'd love another update to the MD11.

Howdy: Previously I complained about performance of not being able to reach cruise altitude using VNAV and it was proclaimed to me that the excessive TAT (+50C and above at altitude) was a bug in FSX and could not be resolved. Good Morning all: I would like to know if PMDG has the intention of doing a Livery Manager for the MD-11 and 747. I find it very useful with the NGX and I think it would not cost too much to program. It would be a shame if those planes don't have one (I hate the each livery installers, they are slow and not easy to manage). Regards, Pau Daniel.

It's already been two years since on a very late Thrusday night/early Friday morning I downloaded the NGX. Flying it is still feels new, and no other commercial aircraft add-on has come close! I will split my time once the 777X comes out, but I've really enjoyed having the NGX as my aircraft of choice for the vast majortiy of my FSX flights.

Just a thought. Not pushing anything. Just astonishes me how the CRJ-200 is probably one of the most popular and well known regional aircraft in the world and NO---- NONE--- nada developer has developed a qiality crj-200 model for FSX
