Hi, I have a problem with the rudder (saitek) pedals not working in the J41. They shake very quickly back and forth when I press them, this is when on the ground from startup. If I load the plane midflight from within a saved flight they work fine. I do not appear to have any duplicated control assignments. Regards Tim

Hi ! Yesterday i was flying in a highly detailed scenery using the cessna and i had brilliant fps. When i switched to the ngx my frames dropped as supposed. I asked myself if it is possible in general (future thoughts) to run fsx and the ngx on different systems since i've heard that some parts of the ngx are already running outside of the fsx. Thansk a lot in advance. Chris

The new 777 sure looks beautiful. The PMDG guys are no longer going to incorporate any 2D cockpit functionality into the 777 and beyond like they did with the 737NGX, other than maybe some hot pop-ups or 'views' say for the FMC. Does this mean we will need the EZCA or similar system to get to the various flight instrumentation? Regards

Just got my last minute plans for Oshkosh figured out. I'll be there with the National Warplane Museum's C-47 Saturday-Tuesday. Any other PMDG-ers going to be at the show?

Anyone knows if i can run the new PMDG T7(when it will come out) on two computers a the same time?(one serial 2 computers)

While I can't wait for the 777 (Going to get it on release day) I'm also looking forward to the DC-6 but haven't heard any news about her recently is she still comming? and if so I'm sure we'd all love some recent pictures. Thanks guys. David

Hi Guys On a SID Chart I have an instruction stating- Minimum Climb Gradient 4% to 3000 Feet. My question is, what figure is the 4% based on, and once I have the climb gradient figure in Feet per miniute how do I enter it into the FMC, or would I climb out using V/S Mode? Thanks

Captains- Over the next couple of days we are going to be taking some servers offline in order to accomplish some mirroring and establishing redundancy for the upcoming release of the 777. In the past when we have taken servers offline, it has created hyperventilation that we might be about to release.... We are NOT releasing the 777 right now- so there is no need to panic! I will let you know when it is okay to panic. :ph34r:

Hello guys something worrying popped up in fsx and Im confused... Firstly I run a dell 7520 laptop with ATI RADEON HD 7730M card on an i5 3210M 2.5 - 3.1 ghz processor After updating my ATI drivers to the latest 13.4 version, I noticed everything 2D looks like, well....crap. The worst parts are where there is writing like the MCP and the ND switches (range, terr, vor, etc) see below in the picture. Ive tried looking around but its all Nvidia this and GTX that so please help...? Also my amd GPU is controlled by switchable graphics which I have set to use high performance (the ATI Card is taking on fsx NOT the intel graphics 4000 even though intel still shows up in optio…

Have been wondering for some time whether we'd see a PMDG developed performance tool for PMDG developed aircraft, based specifically on the data used to build your products; something similar to Boeing's OPT. Also wondering if PMDG intend to implement full PBN capability. Brian Nellis.

I'm trying to make a repaint of the PMDG MD11; in the .dds files everything looks perfect. When I created the folder and loaded the aircraft in FSX the outside has a bizarre metallic sheen over the top of the paint! I can just about make out my paint underneath, but what is causing this? I saved them in Photoshop as DXT5 files, it is only the fuselage and tail that are shimmering - the engines and wings are normal. Any ideas?? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Hi all. In real cockpit vids why pfd, nd blink while landing? They appear normal during cruise. If It is my wrong observation and if already asked then I am sorry. If I am correct can we get this little feature in pmdg 777? Thank you.

Someone sent me a PM wanting to know what Ryan Maziarz changed in my settings that made FSX run so good. He said that his setup was similar to mine, and he was having the same trouble. Although many computers are different, so settings would also be different, I thought I would post the changes that I can remember. Maybe Ryan can jump in at some point when he has time, and add more information. He truly has the magic touch for FSX, but I know that it is not possible for him to tweak everyone's FSX headaches (maybe we can clone Ryan about a thousand times), so maybe posting these changes that he made to my computer would help a few. Some flight sim enthusiasts and I are planning to put together a $ pot to "donate" to the team in faith we withing a year or three lol get a 717. Our take is its really a baby replica of the MD11 (who's modifications are ceased) and YES I am aware Many Many differences as well (for the trolls). Hello everyone! I want the most realistic VC view. I red that some people set the WideViewAspect entry in FSX cfg to "True". I have a 22 " Display and a resolution of 1920 x 1080. Should i set the WideViewAspect value to "True"? Can you tell me which zoom factor should i set to get the view of real 737 NG pilots? Thank you for your help!

I have purchased an extended download on the J41 and understood that I had to send a ticket to receive an validation number. I have sent two tickets but have not received a reply. Since PMDG is normally very good at answering promptly I can only think something has gone wrong. I could think of no other way of making contact than through the forum. Hope someone can help. I've noticed recently that I get significantly better frames in the 747 than my 737, anyone know why? And how do your performances match up?

I printed most of what I needed, but couldn't print pages 48 through 51.Never had a problem with my printer before, just wondering if others are having the same problem?
