Anxiously waiting for the 777 I ordered the 747-400 today from you through PayPal. I received all of the proper acknowledgement emails from both you and Paypal. I am unable to validate the install. My email is xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx. I can log into my account and see my previous purchase of the 737NGX product but my order today for the 747-400 does not appear. Sorry to bother you here but: Using the above email (my account) and password I cannot even log into support and ask for help. Something quite wrong it seems. I'm trying to activate my NGX after a reinstall but get a message that the activation server couldn't be reached. I tried support.precisionmanuals.com but this seems to be down. Is there a problem with activation server? Thanks Jon (Cadwell)

I got PFPX yesterday and thought I was gonna make an interesting flight. I created a flightplan in by beloved PMDG 747 and flew EHAM-KJFK. I use ultimate traffic 2 and active sky also. The interesting part was that I prepared it so I compared entire flight with the real flight on flightradar24. Due to traffic I had to wait a really long time at runway. PFPX selected a more nothern route than the real one. Initial height was the same for both but before descend I was at FL400 while he was at FL360. Due to winds or index I flew slightly slower than the real one. Then they landed I was descending at FL180. There is a simple way to check your settings compare to the real thin…

Hi all, Yesterday I finally found a program the automatically installs the Kia Tak procedures for the PMDG aircraft. It is titled: PMDG_VHHX [NG]v2.0. After installing it, I loaded a flight from RKSI to VHHX. About a half hour into the flight, my computer crashed, Blue screen. After rebooting, I tried another flight out of Kia Tak, loaded the IGS 13 approach, took off and about 10 minutes later, it crashed again. I really like this airport and would like to be able to use the procedures. Has anyone had any problems with this application? or now of a way to get the computer to accept the soft ware? For some reason i cant get onto the PMDG website.... when i put in "www.precisionmanuals.com" it doesnt work but when i put in "precisionmanuals.com" it does work but when i click on any buttons nothing happens and it brings up a "cant load page" message... does anyone know what the problem may be? ive tried clearing cashe.

Afternoon folks, Over the past few days I have developed some weird issues with some of my aircraft. I have mentioned one in the NGX forum and that is still unresolved at this time as far as I know. 2nd issue is, when I took off with the 737-800 the landing gear would not retract, had to restart the flight and sim, and today when flying the 747X the flight started off well, but on approach the flaps would not extend. Before you ask, there were no active failures, and all my electric and hydraulic was in proper function. Any ideas guys (and gals)?

Captains, Late each year, our friends at Boeing send out a bunch of calendars featuring various themes based around (shockingly enough) their product lines. This year they sent a wall calendar (which Ryan made off with) and a petit desktop calendar that resides next to the phone here in my office. Hi Is there the slightest chance that PMDG will ever do 747 dash 100 or 200. 747 from the seventies with ins, steam gauges and all those knobs and switches, that would be something ... FSX is poor with those magnificent birds from early jet era.

Being a devoted customer of PMDG since FSX and the B744 FSX version, I immediately purchased the NGX and lived thru all the upgrades til present. I was very impressed with the attention to system detail and like most of the rest of us, I was patiently waiting for the T7 release. But then someone mentioned the MD11 and I had totally forgotten about it. I knew it just hadn't been a big commercial hit for PMDG and I assumed it was because it was not up to their usual high standard of complexity. 1. I noticed on Luke's departure from VHHH the *Cabin ready message on the eicas. Does anyone know how that works or why it went off on departure? Just curious to know. 2. Hello, seeing that the 777 is very close to release (as close as counting in days rather than weeks might be prudent), I shall start asking the questions on the 747v2. First off. For the 747-400, Honeywell offers an FMS upgrade to the "NGFMS", which is purpotedly very close to what the 747-8 has. What is the plan for the PMDG 747-400 to have included? Will it be the old one, the new one, or possibly, both, to be chosen(on initial, or planner later)? Second: The 747v2 line is told to include both the 747-400 variant and the 747-8 variant (in passenger and freighter hulls). Which one is planned to come earlier? Hello, Several years ago I saw a post either in Avsim or the PMDG forum that told you how to change the color values in the PMDG 747 to make the text and other gauges appear blue instead of the standard green. Does anyone know where this post is hiding away? Thanks Paul

After years of downloading and printing enroute and approach plates decided to develop my own approach procedure. Using a special mapping program, I came up with a routing procedure that's ever bit as accurate and easier to plan and fly than conventional procedures - it works for FMS and Reality GNS even for unpublished airports and airfields. Try the attached demo and let me know what you think. Not to overload the attachment here is only the FMS part, but if you should be interested in the GPS version I'll put it on another post. Don D.

I'm having a bit of trouble recently with my Logitech Extreme 3d pro Joystick. I Have the flaps mapped to buttons 5 & 3, and the Elevator trim settings on 4 & 6, while the D-pad controls camera views. Recently, I have noticed that buttons 3 -> 6 seem to control rudder and/or views, and when pressed, as well as their mapped commands, rendering the Z-rotation useless. It is really annoying me, as it basically makes FSX unplayable. Any ideas? Yes, I have posted this in the Main Avsim hardware forum, but that forum seems 'dead'

Hi guys, First off I know this isnt entirely PMDG related (so feel free to delete if it is not appropriate) but I know some of you guys are using Twitch TV and Open Broadcaster. I have everything working fine, I just had a query regarding ENB/SweetFX. When I tell Open Broadcaster to broadcast an application/game e.g. FSX only the video it picks up is great, but it bypasses the ENB/SweetFX setting for some reason, so all the colours are the bland defaults. Is there anyway to get it to broadcast the picture with the ENB/SweetFX colour correction applied, or will it always bypass this and display the default fsx? Many thanks, Elliot

hey everytime I turn on my flight simulator I take off withing 20 mins in flight my sim crashes and my pc restarts by itself.. has anybody had the same problem and if you know how to fix it? thanks.
