Now that the 777 has the real function of the baro knob, turn and hold not rotating, do you think the NGX will also get this treatment?

Well, I woke up at 0500hrs, lit up the T7, been all around Euriope and Asia, and it is now 2300hrs. I am basicly punch drunk and evghn me typing is gettin slurred, so it is time to pull the pin and got to bed. I have never spent so much time on a new release, and just want to thank PMDG and all the beta team for this wonderful plane. ZZZZZZZZZZZZ

After a few days of solving an activation error with PMDG they finally worked it out. I would like to say what an amazing product the 777 is and thank you PMDG for your Great support.

Hello guys, This thread is PMDG related. After the long awaited release of the PMDG 777X, I have seen several people complain about low framerates. I for one, like most of us, am also experiencing a slight decrease of framerates compared to the NGX, however, FPS is still very acceptable and above 30 95% of the times. What kept attracting my attention was that people with nearly the same systems as mine were reporting much much lower framerates. They could be running different settings of course, but I don't believe everyone would deliberately run settings that would drop their FPS to 15. Hi, I got confused here - as title already said - about this definition file. From reading the introduction document it seems that everything is based on a new livery associated with only 1 definition file. What I am trying to accomplish is the PMDG 777 house color livery to have 2 definition files: one which is the PMDG default (don't want to change that) two is mine (777ARO definition file) and be able to select it from the aircraft menu What I did with the NGX is creating the.ini file and then in the details of the aircraft selection I changed the (frame) number. This way I could select the 737 NGX housecolor with my profile. Now I read that this i…

Hi all I have very recently acquired a new vrinsight cdu2 and am still learning how to set it up. I have learned generally how to load the module and such but have absolutely no idea how to get something going for the 777 as its been stated you can. There doesn't seem to be any instructions on how to do this but am hoping that someone here can point me in the right direction as for I don't know when a softwaremupdaye will be released with it allredy done. Captains! The PMDG 777 for FSX is taking a decidedly different development path than any previous PMDG product because it is the first product to be built out of a simulation engine that we created during development of the PMDG 737NGX. In the past, every PMDG product was essentially a "start from line one" code project because we were always trying to improve upon what we had, or take advantage of features in the latest version of Flight Simulator. What can I say that has not already been said about the T7? It's simply the best. Having flown in a British Airways -200ER just a few weeks ago from Bangalore India to Heathrow, I have fresh memories of the sights and sounds of sitting at the window seat both behind the wing in coach (inbound to Bangalore) and right against the engine cowling and slats in "premium" economy on the outbound flight. Hey, I'm experiencing these annoying head movements when I turn the plane (either in air or taxi). I disabled the head movement values in fsx.cfg and in cameras.cfg (#002) but I still get the POV messed up after a turn. I was wondering what is wrong with my settings and how can I resolve this to further enjoy the 777-200. Please help me. Maor Grinberg.

Hello there, I have a problem with the OPS Center. Every time I start the OPS center always appears the message: "PMDG Operations Center.exe no longer works." "Close Program" I performed an update to the OpsCenter updater. I have the package installed base PMDG_777_200LRF again. I have the PMDG_777_200LRF Base Package downloaded again. I tried it with Windows 7 Professional (64bit) compatibility mode in all variations. I run the program as an administrator. It just does not work. I do not know what to do, maybe someone of you can help. Thanks in advance. nesnaj

Now that I've mastered the 777, I would like to start thinking about the next great release from PMDG, the 747 version 2. December 10, 2014 is my best guess. Of course I'm kidding. That date is more likely the date I'll be able to fly a proper flight without making some kind of major mistake. Congratulations PMDG on Masterpiece #5. I'm looking forward to months and months of aviation bliss.

It was there yesterday, but today, it's gone. Is there a way to download it without reinstalling the 777??

Just a heads up plan on doing the new american airlines paint this weekend, some may not like it but it has grown on me anyway thought I would throw that out there, should be pretty sweet.

Any recommendations for a program that can make flight plans for international flights? With the NGX I usually just used flightaware for domestic US routes

Hi i have a problem the flight freezes every 20s or so and then it goes on again. Doesnt matter how low is the settings. Any idea? Jiri Sekerka

I know we're all busy flying the 777, but I recall reading that several functionalities or rather software advancments would fall back onto the NGX from the 777. Anyone know what made that list?
