Does anybody know when the 747V2 is going to be released now that the 777 is out? Thanks -Jim

I tried to raise a ticket on Friday morning (UK time) re a particular 777 issue, I checked this morning and apparently there a no tickets against my support login. I managed to reproduce the problem yesterday and since apparently I have "no tickets" when asking to send current tickets to my e-mail I tried to raise another one with more information and a screenshot. I just checked and again it says "no tickets". I don't have a ticket number for either attempt so all I can do is click the box for "send tickets to me e-mail address" which just says "no tickets". I know the system did work because I had a ticket on the NGX previously but at the moment I just don't know …

No failures selected or anything. In cruise of flight. Closed FSX re opened it and then the aircraft decided to do a -40000 V/S to the ground I had control re engaged autopilot after climbing back up to cruise altitude but then autopilot would disconnect in about 5 seconds and again another nose plummet. With the 777 coming with a F version, I am inclined to do some freighter ops. The question I have, do they operate on fixed schedules? Or do they just do flights on a "as needed" basis? In particular, if anyone has any aerologic schedule information that would be much appreciated Adam

I know it's off topic but I'm about to loose my mind not able to find any working solutions online. Laptop was working perfectly yesterday - woke up, turned her on and got completely stuck on the start up screen. Cannot access BIOS and have tried so many different shortcuts to get there. Tried taking out battery, power button for ten secs then put batt and connect charger but nothing. I have nothing connected but the charger. All SD cards/USB/HDMI/DVD's are disconnected too. The last program I installed was ORBX FTX yesterday, installation went fine. I didn't shut the PC down entirely last night either - was in hibernate mode. Any tips or suggestion…

I have a curious problem I haven't been able to figure out and am wondering if anyone here can help me sort it out. Every flight with either the PMDG 737 or 777 I get the plane set up for takeoff and flight and after takeoff the plane will climb extremely slowly to a random altitude below 10000 and wont climb anymore. The attitude of the plane is nose down 3-5 degrees and the wing flex is also curved downwards. So far the only way to remedy is to load the plane in midair and reprogram the fmc with exactly the same weights and flight plans and the aircraft will climb to altitude just as expected. Hey there, I just wanted to ask if anybody knew a worded tutorial on how to use the PFPX effectively utilising the features e.g. ETOPS or NOTAMs or how to set up the 777 for it with an example route etc etc. I have searched around and only seen youtube videos, these are difficult for me to understand as I am deaf. Thinking about the max VAS size of 4 GB with a 64 bit OS (Win 7) and the limits of a 32-bit application such as FSX, have any software gurus attempted to correct this issue short of suggesting FSX needs to be recoded entirely in native 64 bit format? Thinking about this issue and the workarounds to live with it, it is probably the real limiting factor to FSX at this stage - at least from the aspect of adding denser and more detailed scenery and aircraft. The g3dll crash issue was fixed finally - and perhaps the VAS limitation issue is beyond any real fix - but could any external software routines "flush" the VAS so that it doesn't max out and cause FSX to crash? …

when i activate the 777 it says that it cannot reach the activation server but i have working internet and i have tried to different internets. I have done it with windows fire wall off and run it as administrator i am not sure what to do. Is anyone else having these problems? sorry posted twice

Hello, I was wondering if it would be possible to implement a parking code functionality into the Operations Centre. I tried editing the aircraft.cfg manually on the NGX and adding the "atc_parking_codes" parameter, but this seems to mess up the alphabetical sorting of the liveries in FSX. I'd imagine it does the same thing on the 777 as well. It would be nice if there was a way to manually enter parking codes into the Ops Centre which then makes the necessary changes to the aircraft.cfg. It can get a bit tedious at times when ATC assigns you a parking spot at the complete opposite end of the airport to where you would normally park. Any thoughts on this? …

Hi, So I was wondering about 2 things. A: Is there anyone that could do a repaint for the NGX 737-600 in Southwest Canyon blue colors? B: Why is it that the NGx can only go up to 340 knots, on a flight tracking app it shows that a 737-700 can go up to 400 knots. Victor S.

How many characters is the maximum that can be used in a co route ref eg egllkjfk 8 characters or can you use more eg egllkjfk01t As I've had a few problems finding routes that I know are there. Could someone have any idea about pmdg 777 in box version, when will it be released

Just curious if wake turbulence is really simulated by activesky 2012 in FSX, when I took off pmdg 737NGX shortly after a B747 suddenly the plane turned sharply to the left and crash due still at very low altitide. I set wake turbulence in activesky slider to 100%.

I just purchased the 777 yesterday and love it. I was doing some flights around the pattern and using autopilot, etc. and have noticed that even if I have realistic autopilot engagement set to "on" that I can be completely misaligned with the FD's, and be pulling back a decent amount, but the autopilot still engages. I remember when the NGX first came out that one had to have everything stable and perfectly aligned in order to engage the AP with this option set to "on", but after an update, this was set to be more lenient (with the NGX I also have to be putting full yoke deflection and be very misaligned in order for the AP to not engage). I am writing this post to find out if anyone has any information on how to fix the problem of aircraft textures not displaying when running FS X after the installation of the new PMDG Boeing 777 add-on. The only way that I can seem to get my simulator to display any aircraft textures post the installation of the new 777 is by first letting the simulator fly the little hang glider airplane after startup then moving the airplane to where I want to fly and then installing whatever aircraft it is that I wish to fly--- this is extremely tedious and on top of the tedium is the fact that it doesn’t always work. Hi, I just discovered that failures (at least the ones generated by the service based failures) are persistent : when you restart FSX and the 777, then you still have the same failures (I just tested this with 'startup state' option empty - I don't know if it works by using a non empty 'startup state'). This is GREAT ! (didn't noticed/checked this with the 737ngx) One feature that I would like to be implemented in the PMDG is the whole plane persistence between 2 FSX executions. In particular the switch position persistence. To my opinion, this gives the preflights/ flight preparation more interesting : if I always load the same panel state, I know all the …

When manually braking in FS, are the brakes seen by the simulator as either being On or OFF or are they seen as a range from light braking to maximum braking? Thanks!
