Hi, I am sorry if this question sounds a bit stupid but I am a rookie trying to learn my way round PMDG aircrafts. During my ILS approach at EGNT (Newcastle) 8 out of 10 times I am finding it very difficult to land as the aircraft makes a sharp right/left turn to align with the runway at the very last minute. I haven't really checked the distance but by very last minute I mean about 1 - 3 nm or so - Yes it's that close! I tried to land on both runways (07 and 25) but had the same problem every time. Also I had the same problem at EGCC (Manchester) runway 05L but I had no issue landing on runway 05R and 23R. I followed the FSX route planner.... So what am I doi…

Right, so after owning the PMDG 777 and NGX for a while I have noticed something. Is it normal with their products to now claim to be able to fly the 777 and 737 in real life? Can I please now go and tell people that I can fly these birds?

Hey Everyone, So I started up my computer for the first time in 5 months. I was up north flying for the summer and when I came home I had alot of updates to be installed. Anyways I have never had an issue with FSX or PMDG at all. Starting up FSX has always been smooth and timeless. After installed all the Windows updates, and defragmenting the computer I started up FSX and got the following error: Flight Simulator has detected a problem with a third party software program Name: PMDG Sound Dynamic Link Library Version; 10,0,61355,62 Company: PMDG File: PMDG\DLLs\PMDGSounds.dll Then it says to you want to run this software and I click no, so I can run FSX and it…

I realize this is not specific to PMDG but there is always someone with good ideas on this forum. So here go's; As you can see from the screen shots I have this green square in the upper left corner of the FSX screen. It shows up in the opening aircraft window and in the sim. It does not impact my flying or anything else as far as I can tell. I did a clean install of FSX (removed any and all directories and references to FSX that I could find (did not do a "regedit"). My video drivers are up to date and this is the only program that has this issue. Any help would be appreciated. Phil

I'll start by saying : PMDG is the best a/c development company on today's market and as such the following must be said : With all due respect, I hope RSR isn't sitting at home doing nothing but criticize LM about the upcoming P3D v2. I hope he cares about his customer base and not just his company's revenue and provide LH with insightful tips about how to make P3D a better platform to develop A/C on. If PMDG will continue it's silly boycott of P3D, it would cost them the vast majority of their customer base who will eventually move on to a better, more advanced platform. Everytime I use the Livery Manager I get This pop up ; PMDG_Livery_Manager.exe has stopped working. My OS is Windows 8, but everything has been configured to Windows 7. Everything FSX is in my Program (x86 ) Folder.

This topic might have been addressed before, but I have been unable to find it ... if there is a solution already online can someone please kindly point me to it? I am using the PMDG paint kit for the above two NGX models and have found that whenever I am using a dark colour, there is a clear light line on the fuselage indicating the borders between the three different texture files. No matter what I have tried so far, I cannot get rid of them. This is not a problem with lighter coloured paints. Does anyone know how to resolve this problem please?! Many thanks, ozzieblr

I've been trying to buy the Triple seven since Sunday, I got an Error 4 with a message that said to contact PMDG. I sent two support tickets and messages to PMDG with no reply. I'm beginning to think that they don't want me to buy it!

Hi! Only a few weeks left before we´ll get the V2 of the "new" flightsim. It seems that the performance will be way better etc. I´m really afraid that i will never be able to fly my loved PMDG T7 in this simulator and i´ve got a question for you all: Is there really no chance that PMDG will release their products for Prepar3d...?

So recently I decided to remove a lot of scenery from my FSX library. After I load up a flight with the T7 and everytime I go into the VC I am stuck at 15 frames or less sometimes it drops to 6. I did not touch my CFG and install any new scenery. Also it is not only the T7 I loaded up some other aircrafts and everytime the aircraft has a complicated VC my frames will not go past 15 when inside. I have turned scenery down and it is still the same result. The FPS limit is set to Unlimited with a limit using the Nvidia Inspector. Hi there, i was just wondering, does PMDG have sales on there products, like Captain Sim etc? I just spent all my money on the PC to run fsx good so i'm near broke, but want the 777.. if there would be a 20/30% sale would be a good thing. Does anyone know more about this, or about sales from the past / future ? Also to bad they dont have a try before you buy version, because PMDG needs to have a good pc, i have one now but still, it's easyer to make a 90 buks choice when you test and know that it runs smooth, without paying first then test it out..

Anyone know what the next PMDG aircraft will be since the 777 maxed out the heavy jumbo jets?......it would be nice if they could put out a real quality prop or even turbo prop, I have the JS-4100 and it is a fantastic dream of an aircraft, it would be nice if they could put out a high quality but much larger prop aircraft, is there another aircraft in the works or has PMDG stopped putting out aircraft after the 777?

OK, Just to clear things up right away, I am not implying that this I caused by PMDG products, only that it is confined to the NGX & T7 (I don't have my MD11 & 747X installed yet). I have just finished a complete o/s, FSX and addons reinstall, due to a sudden problem that showed up in my MOBO, so I decided to upgrade to an IB system (decided against HW). I spent a lot of time on my O/S, FSX & Addon installation, following all the recognized guides in this forum and spent a week on obtaining what I think is a really good stable O.C. to 4.3G on my new 3570k. My question to you is do i need to have the exact equivalent of $89.99 (56.10) which i had last night and all my attempts were declined. Hello, I have a problem with all PMDG - addons. When I use the aircraft in FSX for example the FMC or another window with SHIFT +2 etc.. want to open, nothing happens. I have Windows Vista 64, GeForce GTX770, 32GB RAM, i7-3770K @ 3,50 Ghz What do I have to install or change to make it work? Thank you for your support!
