" If, in fact, Active Sky Next, provides all nessessary information in regards to Weather Radar Simulation, I would like to ask if PMDG is re-thinking their long standing policy in regards to weather radar implementations in their Simulation. Hello everyone, Just got the PMDG MD11 and im having problems with the winglets and wingflex. The winglets come unattached when airborne and the wing wont move or bounce at all. Ive tried uninstalling FSX and PMDG but it wont do anything. Here are some pictures showing the winglets unattached from the wing. Any help is appreciate it! Thank you! -Isaias

Thanks to your great WIND DATA REQUEST I got the idea of a similar PAYLOAD REQUEST option in the CDU. The reason being, it is always very hard - and sometimes even impossible - to match your flightplan's payload to the one in the aircraft itself. That is because flightplanners such as PFPX, distinguish between adults, children, infants, cargo, bagage, etc., while the CDU only distinguishes between passengers and cargo. You also can't find out about your payload distribution unless you have TOPCAT with the correct profile (which does not apply for the 777 for example). As add ons are getting more complex and the more add ons with have the likelihood of more problems start evolving. After a long battle with FSX's problems I think I have finally solved most but all so far. I have no more fatal errors, OOMS, stutters, random frame drops and many others which I cannot think of now. You still need a lot of tweaking, and somewhat good hardare to run FSX well. I have an good computer I would say even though I do not get many frames at high intesity addons, usually 12-18 at FSDreamteam KLAX, there have been no OOMS or fatal errors. Had to reformat my computer. So after downloading fs9.I started to download all my aircraft. My PMDG 747 and 1900 had no problems but when downloading the 600-700 nothing would happen just had the files flying but was not downloading. I bought the 600-700-800-900 about 5years ago. Any reason for this thank you.

This not a proving or comparison post. What I'd like to know from you is why you think simulator A has more potential than simulator B.

When I load the website I get the PMDG logo top left then under that is the blue menu bar (home / products / shop etc). When I'm in the 'shop' part of the website (it starts with the "browse by category" screen) the 777 has disappeared from the Products dropdown menu. It's present in the products dropdown when I'm on any other part of the website, just not in the shop. Which is where I particularly wanted to find it :-) I've made this happen on 3 browsers on two computers so as far as I'm concerned it's a glitch

My posts typically tend to range from the opinionated to the outright contentious, with the rare expression of contentment for good measure. Then there are those once-every-few-years occasions where I feel compelled to sing praise. I have flow a real stick in a 152, 172, Luscombe, Tomohawk and Archer. I learned to fly an airplane before I learned to drive and grew up around general aviation during its brief heyday in the 70's. I am not a PPL, but I have soloed. First, I would like to say that I am really enjoying the PMDG 777. Other than the small fixes that I am sure will be addressed in the upcoming SP, the T7 seems to run stable and with no major issues. I for one have not seen any problems with running this aircraft on my system. PMDG has done a fantastic job and looking forward to 747V2 and DC-6. Despite probably being mocked or talked down to in this thread, I thought I would put a bug in PMDG ear to perhaps consider making the aircraft listed below in the future. Well as time has gone bye and the OOM are more frequent its time to start moving over to " X plane 10" 64bit reason! I looked at prepar3d Not really impressed being it is 32bit simulator so its already limited and just a copy of FSX. And for a time I will have to fly 737ngx and 777-200 on Boston virtual ATC. at least no OOM on line, Not willing to give those up "Great Planes PMDG! So any hoot when PMDG comes on board with X plane AT that point FSX will go in the History can, got a lot of years of fun out of FSX. BUT she's on her death bed and making funeral arrangements.

Hi, After a long time customer with AMD (HD5870,HD7970GHZ Edition) i just moved to the Nvidia Camp (GTX780SC,EVGA) and i can tell this was the right choice in terms of performance .Smoothness is also totally a different storie (for the better) DX9 is like DX10 with AMD I plugged in the new card hoping not to reinstall my hole system again and found everything to work great besides when in DX10 undocking panels. When i do this the FPS jumps in a pattern from for instance 45fps to 30fps(spooling up and down- not in a instant move) and reset itself again after 20-25 seconds. This scenarie keeps repeating ifself making the flight a bit stutter not much because the…

Hello. I bought the PMDG MD-11x back in 2009. I soon switched computers and lost the installer. If I purchase the EDS program for the MD-11 now, can I re download it without buying the product again? Or will I have to submit a ticket once I get the EDS?

Hello. I was doing a flight when suddenly FSX CTD. So I restarted the sim (as I usually do when having CTDs), but this time, PMDG started to freeze once the flight was recovered (using NGX). I again restarted the sim, and this time, everything related to a PMDG product made the sim freeze. I tried deleting the cfg file to create a new one, but again when selecting either the 777, 747 or 737, FS just freezes, I cant even shut it down, I have to open task manager and stop the program. So I tried uninstalling first the 777X and trying to fly the NGX....Same issue. I uninstalled NGX, and tried it with the 747....same issue. I unistalled the 747. Tried i…

In May I went to Wichita Avsim conference where our glorious leader Robert was the key speaker, then I got the stupid bright idea I would shoot down to Amsterdam for the World's largest flight sim conference last week or so . Man- our hobby is now big business and there's some serious sims out there . You'll see a shot of Steve Cos , he was the only Canadian company there with flight Deck Solutions .

For me it's definitely Friday evening after a weeks long hard slog :p0303: I'll normally start with a quick hop from Auckland to Wellington (beer in hand :drinks: ) with some challenging or at least interesting weather conditions, followed by a flight from Auckland (wine in hand :drinks:) to either Brisbane, Gold Coast, Sydney, or Melbourne. My flights are evenly split between the 737 and 777. It just depends on what I feel like flying on the night. Life is good. :yahoo: p.s. I once flew from Auckland to Perth on the 737-800. Only just made it.
