Good Afternoon everybody, Quick question about the paintkit for the 747X and hopefully 747V2 also. Is it possible with the 747X paintkit to put a registration under the APU exhaust like in the picture? I have a couple Paints in the works and some require this. Is there a texture like "PMDG_747_Decals.dds" that has this part that makes it possible to do this? And a question to the Dev team, is it possible to have this on 747V2? I understand it can be quite time consuming to do little things like this but for the sake of accuracy of paints, can us painters have this? Regards, Matt Tank

Just wondered what with the NGX and 777 being highly realistic representations of the real aircraft, on what level does the old 747 stand?

Has anyone dared to surf the vortex yet in their PMDG 777 or 737? Landing at -25'C with frozen fuel in Chicago could be an interesting experience?

Have you built upon the existing 747, or have you started from scratch? Are we to expect it to be equally, if not more so detailed and spectacular than your 777? I still fly the 747X and absolutely love it!

folks i was uneble to connect to the pmdg forum for 1 day aprox. Im guessing that there was a maintenance work going on before the release of the -300 and sp1. any info regarding this ? regards

Hmm i have never considered this product before but is this any good with my Hangar from PMDG? Or is it mostly FSX GA ? Thanks Michael

Hi, After a hard disk meltdown I have had to re-install everything. All good with the exception of to PMDG airplanes. I have about 14 add ons and all either have the activation keys on the invoice or if on CD, in the CD case. I do not recall getting in documentation when I downloaded 777 and 737. The CD versions, MD11 and 747 all ok. I only have bank statement copies of the purchase transactions as proof of purchase. My login to PMDG account is inaccessible as the email I used is no longer in use. I have the software saved and loaded, just need the unlock keys and assumed I would be able to retrieve these by logging into my account purchase history. …

Hello PMDG users, I recently purchased both the pmdg 777 and the pmdg 737ngx. I strangely have 2 charges for the pmdg 737 ngx, which is fine i don't mind about that, ill just give that to my friend. However, I also have the paypal receipt for the pmdg 777 but no email was sent to me about downloading it and it doesn't appear on my transaction list in my previous orders.. help?? Hi all, For the first time ever I decided to update my nav database. I downloaded the Navigraph FMS Data Manager and paid for the latest cycle (1401). In the manager (attached) it tells me that all PMDG products are updated to this cycle. However, when I start a flight in the 777-200LRX I still get the "NAV DATA OUT OF DATE" message, with a cycle number of 13somethingsomething. In my FSX folder in the Navdata folder, all the text files are showing the latest 1401 cycle as the current database. The NAVDATA folder in the PMDG folder is indicating the older version. How do I fix this issue, considering that the data manager is telling me that PMDG is already up to da…

I want to practice manual landing with my pmdg aircraft, and I tried FSinstant approach but it doesn't seem compatible with PMDG aircraft, so I figure the next best thing would be a short route that works with all the PMDG aircraft? I've got the 737,47,77,the JS41, and, the MD11. All I really want to work on is the landing portion I'd really like a route that would work well for all 5 of those. having had ctd issues with the 777 since I first got it the week it was released I gave up flying it after numerous failed flights that ended in ctd s. of course there are numerous other customers who are also suffering from the same issues and I know we are waiting for a fix etc etc. I tried everything to solve the issue ,all that has been suggested here with sliders and performance and addon scenery and so on but still got the problem. so since I stopped flying it I have experimented by just having the 777 sitting at an airport no flying nothing just loading it up and leaving it there without a flight plan and what I have found is that weather or not I am at a …

This could apply to any Boeing aircraft. I mostly fly the 737NGX, at the moment. I use FS2Crew, which I must admit is really great. Every so often, despite getting the check list done, I forget to arm the A/T. I did this today, and I only released when I was airborne, and my speed was a bit hot. This item isn't in the BEFORE TAXI or BEFORE TAKE OFF checklist. Maybe it isn't regarded as a major safety item? But is annoying forgetting to arm this switch. How do you remember this item? I am thinking of modifying my own checklist and incorporate this into the BEFORE TAXI check list.

When will it be able to download and install textures like it does for the 777 please?

Hi there, is there any way (thoroug fsuipc or whatever) to deactivate the ailerons on ground? So that as long as I'm on a taxiway or on takeoff roll the x-axis of my joystick is the rudder axis and as soon as I'm airborne the same x-axis steers the ailerons. Since my yoke is broken I only have my Logitech Attack 3 for FSX. Problem is the on takeoff roll when I want to steer the the aircraft on the runway it becomes a very wobbly thing due to rudder and aileron steering at the same time via one axis. If anyone has a solution for that it would be fantastico ;-) Thanks alot, Julian

Hi all, I have been out of the flight sim community for a while. I moved from the UK to Doha, Qatar last year, I just bought a new laptop. On paper it should run FSX like a dream, but... it came with Win 8 pre-installed. Still, FSX and the 737NGX and the 777 installed - and worked a treat... until I upgraded to 8.1 then it all went the way of the pear! So after days - literally - of fiddling and fannying about, I finally got FSX installed, and working - or at least, I can get it to load, free flight works with the default flight loaded, and it shuts down. I tried to submit a ticket last week for a problem I have with the 737 NGX ,for which I could not find any answers to on the forums. After not receiving a reply for a couple of days I tried to track it on the Ticket Lookup and Send Ticket List By Email searches but they both could not find my ticket. You are asked for a ticket number and my question is where do you get the ticket number from? I cant seem to find that information and after i have typed out the message and hit the next button I go to New Ticket page and no sign of a ticket number. I am reluctant to type a new message if i dont know where to get the ticket number. scottmikev

I love flying the PMDG NGX and I mostly simulate flying SAS routes. However, I am longing for to get to know real (or closer to real) life SOP. I realize that the SOP is company specifik, but what does an SOP look like in general? And where is my best shot to see one without becoming a professional pilot? I am very sorry for the triple post.
