Hi I have just gone to NavDataPro having lost faith in Navigraph (too many airways not recognised when loading the FMC) My problem is that although the cycle is loaded into the PMDG nav database none loads into the a/c selected 737 747 or777.how do I get the fmcs to recognise the new data? Hi Guys.I could really do with some help.For some reason I just cant find my FSX.CFG file.I have searched my FSX folder in Windows (Vista 64 bit).FSX starts up perfectly,and I use PMDG 747-400X and 737NGX with no real problems,but I would like to add the HIGHMEM fix that is being mentioned in the 737NGX forum for better frame rates.I have always added scenery/aircaft to the default FSX folder.I know I should have this CFG file for FSX to work but at a loss to where it is on my system.Any help would be great.Thanks.Tony Simpson

I purchased the FS2Crew for PMDG737 and need help getting it. Thanks guys for your help.

I can almost bet this problem is on here somewhere. I just installed FSX Gold which contains the acceleration pack, thought I'd eliminate the problems with my standard FSX's SP1 and SP2. I downloaded PMDG777 for the second time and tried to install it on a clean 2nd HD after FX Gold. While trying to install PMDG 777 I get a message that my version is outdated and need to install FX's SP2. Then while trying to install SP2 I get the message I need to install SP1. On the SP1 download page it says do not install if the Acceleration Pack is alredy installed which it is I assume from FSX Gold. So I am stuck, I do not have my OS on my 2nd drive, so that should not have any thing…

I've been thinking of a software that could evaluate your performance in the NGX or another PMDG acf like an instructor check. For example, some days ago, I forgot to turn on the packs and, when I got to 20.000 feet, the pressurization system began no beep (cabin pressure was around 10 thousand feet), and the cabin temperature was 10 degrees Celsius... What would be my penalty for that? That software could tell...

In the beginning i thought yeh it's nice and i'll buy it because i like to support PMDG. i did a few flights and thought it seems ok a bit sterile and went back to the NGX... then after a few months i went back to it and BANG i can't stop using it..i love it . it really has grown on me and now i'm digging into the FMC and really enjoying FSX again. anyone else had the same experience.did you like it and now love it?? steve

Lately I have been having troubles with my computer. I have the PMDG 737NGX 600-900 for FSX. I tried to fix my computer myself with almost success but then something happened. I had to reinstall my PMDG product and all the other payware addons I have. After that it worked fine, but then something happened and I was forced to take my computer in where they reset the computer and deleted everything but backed up most of my stuff and put it back in. I used to downloaded thing to be able to reinstall my addon but since they deleted all that, I can't do that anymore. I still have the aircraft but it is glitched so it is unflyable. I tried to find the download URL but it had ex…

I know I asked this ? before, but here I go again. I installed PMDG 737 NGX on my computer adding on to FSX Gold. OS is W8.1. The install went fine but I get a fatal error when I select a PMDG Aircraft, hit fly now and FSX shuts down. All of the original FSX aircraft work great. I have a high end computer with 1T memory and a 512MB video card. I'm hoping someone has an answer to a fix for this.

I have a little back story so please stay with me. I landed the MD-11F at UK scenery 2000 Glasgow. I then taxied in and changed to the outside view. I then heard a ping followed by a "fatal error occured" and fsx crashed. I then tried the 737 NGX. There was now no task bar at the top of the screen and I was unable to right click the scrren anymore and my joystick didn't work. Is there a way I can pinpoint what is causing my problems with fsx? I know this topic was probably covered, but I can't find it (I really hate the search function) Anyway: I never used auto throttles for take off. But in the 777 full motion sim, the instructor had us set the A/T to take off speed and hit the TOGA button and the plane accelerated to the 145 kts. At 1000 ft, he had us dial up to say 200 kts and the plane did exactly that. On my sim, If I have the speed set to 145 kts and hit TOGO, or if on the runway and activate the A?T button, the plane indeed accelerates - but it'll keep on going past 300 kts. Hi, searched for this and didn't see what I'm looking for. Flew to Kathmandu International (VNKT), and no ILS, only RNAV approaches. The ceiling was about 500 ft and rain. How, or what is the correct method, to use an RNAV approach using the systems in the NGX? Best, Kev

I am sure that I am being a bit thick, but having just installed the 737NGX from a disc, I can't find the general manual or the livery installer. All that is provided is a manual with a sample flight. Can anyone point me in the right direction?

Hi, I have read the very nice turtorial Part 1 and 2 for ETOPS and was wondering if Oceanic Clearance is simulated on Vatsim and if they are could you give me an example here in this topic? I am no expert on this but apreciate people with knowledge. NYT story titled "Basement Pilots" related to flight 370 looks at our hobby from an angle that is perhaps somewhat misunderstood. Why would pilot of 777 go home and do virtual flying? As a RWP I do agree and there is no denying that our hobby can't replicate the feel of real world flying, however, there is so much more to this. I just decided to switch to DX10. I have a high end CPU and a 780 GTX video card so I read that DX10 may be more beneficial to me. So I downloaded Steve's DX10 Fix, installed it, and my graphics are horrible. My question is, do I need to edit my fsx.cfg? What are the best nvidia inspector settings? What are my control panel graphics setting in FSX supposed to indicate? Thanks for your help!!!
