Hi, I have recently begun having problems with sporadic, uncommanded flap deployments on both the 777 and the NGX. The problem is likely on my end, but I wanted to post here to see if anyone else has encountered this, or has suggestions on troubleshooting it. Here is a summary of what I am experiencing: 1. After certain keystrokes ([open ATC window] and [pause simulation]), the flaps will fully extend. This does not happen consistently every time I used these keystrokes, but only sometimes. However, every time that it has occurred, it has been immediately after I have executed one or the other of these keystrokes. This has happened multiple times on both airc…

I have bought and paid for the PMDG 737 but am unable to download it. What I get is zip package of zero size; this seems to be just a file header but no content. Trying to get assistance the website says it does not know my email and I cannot get a ticket to complain. There seems to be no other way to get help but to access this forum. Not what I was hoping for. Any ideas?

Hey everyone, I just fired up the old NGX over the weekend to do some flying in it and I have to say that flying the T7 for a while and then returning to the NGX has given me so much more appreciation for the NGX! Even after some time not flying it, getting back into it again and blasting off is a joy. You can clearly feel that the T7 is a slightly more refined product but the two complement each other marvelously well. Now looking forward to the 744 and 748 release! Kind regards

Hi can you help me I'm having a CTD with PMDG 777.This happens when I click fly now,the moment it starts loading at about 4% it crashes with error PMDG_777X.DLL. Hi all Did some tests today with NVidia ShadowPlay, technology on the 600 and 700 series cards for in-game recording in full HD with pretty much no performance loss, certainly none in FSX. I did a test video of landing in Christchurch during the remains of Cyclone Ita. Please forgive and bad techniques or incorrect procedures, I was simply testing. PLEASE change quality to 1080p.... using the cog-wheel tool.

Let me begin by stating that I know this problem I'm having isn't a PMDG-specific problem, but it is stopping me from fully enjoying my PMDG products in FSX as it's a very rare day indeed when I fly anything other than a PMDG aircraft. So, my problem lies with Squawkbox. I have the latest version of it for FSX. The problem is that when I connect, I appear to have a successful connection but I see no other aircraft, cannot communicate with anyone (I try to manually change frequencies in the SB4 box without success) and just generally am all alone despite a check showing 20-odd pilots online at the same airport. Hi, I just wanted to know what you guys do to simulate RF legs in the NGX, if you fly RNP approaches with RF legs. I'm fairly new to the way RNP approaches with RF legs/RNP approaches in general work, and would like to know what some of you do to fly that RF leg realistically, considering that RF legs aren't supported in the NGX. Since I mainly fly routes for WestJet in FSX and I found where I can get the RNP approach charts for applicable airports (fltplan.com and then in the RCAP section), I enter the waypoints manually and then handfly the legs that have larger arcs implemented in them. Otherwise I will let the aircraft just do it's thing and fly the approach the…

I would like to have access to ground power before the aircraft is powered up, i.e. when completing the pre-flight scanflows, the external power would be AVAIL, and ready to be selected ON. The book says hold the MENU button to activate the CDU prior to power up, but for the life of me, I cannot hold it more than about one second, then the little hand opens again. I would like to start in COLD AND DARK, but this seems to start with the ground power selected DISCONNECT. Anybody any ideas? I have tried to do my homework on this but cannot find a reference as to HOW to hold the MENU key.

Hi all I was just thinking. First time for everything, yes! Seriously, though. I doubt there's a simmer who has used a PMDG product who wouldn't be able to pick RSR out in a book called "Where's Robert?". So it got me thinking. Why don't you guys at PMDG make up a page ("About Us") on your website listing your main staff - Robert, Ryan, Vin, etc along with a photo? It'd be great (I think so, anyway) to put a face to a name, along with a short bio perhaps. What do you reckon?

Hello folks, I was flying from Dubai to LTBA Istanbul today, any ways I have fly tampa Dubai and Taxi2gate Istanbul as well as rex 4, active sky next, ftx global + vectors, and Fsinn (vatsim). I am using rex textures at 512x512 and ASN not on extreme settings. I've installed ftx vectors yesterday and today while approaching LTBA I've got an OOM. could that be the source? and if so what can I do to help it? I don't want to get rid of it as I have just bought it. any help appreciated! specs: i2500k 3.4ghz 560Tigtx 8gb ram. resolution:1920x1080x32
