I reformatted my system, Installed Win-7, every possible updates, FSX+expansion, then I installed the NGX. After a few pupups (dealing about several dll's, which I confirmed) I am still waiting for the well know activation popup. It won't appear. My fsx freezes. I even tried to install the good old MD-11, same sort of thing happens: some popups appears amd then fsx freezes. The only thing I've changed in comparison with previous installs is that I'm using a different drive (D:\fsx instead of C:\fsx) I've submitted a support ticket. Got feedback to check for common solutions, such as SP1+2, administrative rights, to make sure I did not delete services etc. None of th…

I purchased the extended donwloadservice last week and still not receive download link. no topic of PMDG, absolutely nothing. this should be done within 24 hours, a maximum of 48 hours. Now we're at 60 hours over it ..

Have managed to download the SU2 Update this evening without a hitch at all and it has completed perfectly :)Thank you so much to PMDG for their dedication in working to resolve the server issues which caused problems since the release of SU2.Issues such as what happened with the SU2 update download do happen but what rates PMDG very highly is the simple fact that they have worked for their customers and worked towards and resolve the server issues so that all customers can download the SU2 update.Thanks to PMDG and the BETA Team, it is an absolute pleasure to fly the PMDG 737 NG and I can't wait for future PMDG Products which I am sure will all be of the highest possible…

I can afford another PMDG Aircraft. I have the 600/700/800/900 NGX and 3 or 4 others I must re-activate before installing. I'd like to get your opinion: The MD 11 first or the 777? These aircraft are a learning curve so whichever one I choose, I'll be on for a few months. Interested in hearing from you. Jon Shearer

I have a small issue with the Operations Center: I can select the PMDG 737 and it will show my options within that aircraft, but when I select the PMDG 777, It wants me to buy it... I have already bought the product. Is there an update to the operation center I don't know about? Or is there a way to validate my purchase to allow the Operation Center to recognized the 777?

Hi I am just returning to FSX and PMDG aircraft after a two year break and whilst I still have the aircraft file downloads - I have mislaid my activation codes for 737ngx / js41 and 747 could anyone from PMDG help me on this matter so I can re-install the aircraft to a fresh version of FSX. It appears that when I do a longer flight, say about 2 hours long, my arrival airport has pieces missing. I didn't have this problem before I installed 777 so I was wondering what I could do to fix it. Basically it is things like terminals, sometimes some of the gateways are missing sometimes it parts of my airplane, not sure why this is happening, any help would be good. Ryan Gann

Hello guys, have those of you using ASN made any changes to the FSX.cfg. "turbulenceScale"? I have it actually to 0.500000 (as previously recommended by Active Sky 2012 when using sensible aircrafts such as PMDG. Thanks!

A few days ago, I noticed a really cool feature in the Ops Center. When multiple liveries are linked to the samen .ini, you will see them in a little list on the bottom left in the Ops Center windows. This got me thinking. As far as I can see, there is no possibility to link the liveries together from within the Ops Center. So if you wanted to make a fleet of aircraft dependent on one single .ini, you'd have to load them into FSX and link them one by one. This is not a huge problem, of course, but would it not be easier to have te possibility to link them from within the Ops Center. OR, have I just looked over the button that says "link livery to .ini", or something…

Purschased some stuff from PMDG. After the transaction was complete, I signed in using the ORDER CODE. It provided links to my purchases. Links to downloads did not work. So I decided to sign in normally. I havent used PMDG in years so asked for an email to reset my password. They send an automated NEW password but it is all unicode (screwy characters). copy and pasted the password and it didnt worked. Tried to reset my password 3 more times; same unicode password. I submitted a ticket. Getting frustrated... Need to know how to cancel the order in the next few hours. I unfortunately used paypal. Thanks for any guidance anyone can proved. Brandon Edwards

I recently had a problem with PMDGsounds.dll and searched AVSIM for a solution. There are quite a few threads asking for help with no replies. There are also a couple of threads which had solutions which didn't fix my problem. When I eventually fixed things I thought it was worth adding my solution to the forum in case someone else has the same issue in the form I got it. The warning first came up after I'd been flying the MD-11 and then shutdown FSX to restart it and fly the 777. I got a large pop-up error window reporting a problem loading PMDGsounds.dll. It offers you the option to try loading it anyway (YES) or not (NO). I tried choosing YES but got a CTD. I assum…

Hey i just bought ASN And i decided that i won't buy Ezdok since i have Opus. So i gave it a try but i only get shaking on ground. I feel like Opus Live Camera is not reading the weather correctly. Maybe it has to do with the sequence that i open the programs at. I first load my flight and then i open Opus-->Disable Live Weather-->Open ASN. Please Help Thanks Daniel

Captains- This one will be very brief, because I don't have much *new* information for you. Some folks seem to like it even if I repeat the old information- so here is your quickie update for today! We currently feel that we are approximately 2 weeks away from beginning the final test phase for the pending SP1 update to the PMDG 777-200LR/F. This will be a HUGE update in terms of adding new functionality, updating/fixing errors in the initial release version, improving the overall product performance a bit and generally cleaning up some of the details that needed cleaning after the initial release. Hifi announced their next project called Active Sky Next. They are promising very big things that have never been done before. If it's all true all I can say is I'm amazed. This was one of the statements that stood out to me. I hope this is something PMDG can consider doing. I know they do not like to offer features that require other purchases from other developers but myself and I'm sure other Active Sky users would be willing to pay for the integration. Flight from KMCO to KSEA and I was reading while keeping one eye on the screen, and an aircraft drifted in from the left about a mile distant and above. I watched as it continued to move directly across my nose always above while I checked TCAS, which was on, normal and monitoring. The aircraft clearly appeared in the display but was neither flagged with an audio warning nor red warning color. I was probably doing 20 knots over his speed and catching up very, very slowly... Hi, i got a serious Problem with FS Global Real Weather while iam using the 777 or 737 , i will try to explane it as best as i can because englisch is not my native language. On 10th January i bought FS Global Real Weather because of the good reviews in various magazines and its actually a great simple and easy to use programm for the most realistic weather in FSX. Yesterday I decided to take the old 747V1 up for a spin. I flew from Louisville KY to Columbia SC in the storm. When I hit FL 400 the turbulence was so bad that the airspeed fluctuated from being in the red to the stall horn. In the outside view it looked like a bird flapping her wings. I had a 146 knot crosswind. I requested FL 370 and when I got down there all was fine. Then at about 80 the turbulence started again. I always hand fly from the top down and it was a handful. I got nailed after I was on the glideslope. I was at about 160-170 knots when I got hit by wind shear. My airspeed immediately dropped to less than 130. I was at 20. There was no recovery.
