It was an error for me to install E-jets V2, onto my hard drive this past weekend for many reasons, but one inparticular.After installing E jets, and removing it, I had problems with FSX and I seriously contemplated rebuilding FSX files ( including a complete re install of add-ons etc) , I simply learned how to redo the DLL files. By the way i found out how to do that in the PMDG support wiki.But trust me, you do not want to have to do this. And I did have to end up reintalling PMDG planes only. This is by no means a bash of wilco - its purely for your protection !Cheers

Ever since I migrated to Win7 64-bit, I'm getting CTDs at various times during a flight in FSX. It could be 30 minutes into the flight or 10 hours. I've never seen it happen on the ground or in climb...only at cruise. This seems to happen on all of my payware add-on aircraft including the PMDG 747, MD11, and other popular sims. I decided to post my issue here as it seems PMDG forums are frequented by some very capable people. I've researched this issue, but there doesn't seem to be too much on this particular problem in FSX.I used FSX in Win XP for several years and never saw this problem.I just did a fresh OS and FSX install and the problem remains.Here's my setup:W…

Hi I have never had problems before in submitting a support ticket, Tonight though when I clicked on the green submit button I was immediately taken back to the ticket/home page. I have checked that I have correctly filled out all sections of the ticket. I have also copied and saved the body of the ticket, which I can forward to PMDG. There is no sign of my new ticket on my ticket history page. I have tried about four times but don't want to try again in case I end up accidentally flooding PMDG with tickets. I will try again later or if there is another way of forwarding the information ie by email I can do that.

I did some reinstalls of software, FS and PMDG 737. Now every time I go to use the 737NG PMDG is asking for the serial number. I'm close to having the serial number memorized. Any fix or idea of what to do ? Yes I have a purchased boxed copy.

Let me start by saying that I really appreciate all that Tom and his staff at AVISM have done to support and advance flight simulation. We would not be where we are today without their hard work and dedication. Keeping that in mind, I would ask that PMDG staff consider either moving their forum or host it themselves. I have spent a good deal of time looking at the "waiting for forum.avsim.net " status message and all to often ending up with the wonderful "Service Unavailable" screen. My computer after 30 min of running FSX or anything begins to type the letter g many times and never stops EX; ggggggggggggggggggggg. i unplug the keyboard and it KEEPS typing no matter what I do microsoft tech support has not figured it out yet so i wonder if any one of you have experience this problem. its not a virus because tech support removed the one that was there. Windows 7 64Bit thanks

Hello everybody: Is the NGX going to become an SP2? It's pretty much perfect right now but some night lighting issues are still there and we don't have alternate gear extension. (Still flying afraid of a total hydraulic loss with gear up) :wacko: Is this going to be made or has PMDG decided not to develop the NGX further more? I also want to ask if the alternate gear extension is possible to be designed in some way. Regards, P. Daniel. I just finished a flight in my NGX into KCMH (Port Columbus Ohio) in a blowing snow storm at night, IFR from 17,000 down to 100 feet and they took me the long way around. I always hand fly most of the way up and always from TD. I was fighting 80 and 90 kt. cross tailwinds a lot of the way down and of course ATC delayed my decent. If someone showed it on you tube as a RW pilot trying to hold an altitude at times they would think he was drunk. The chute down the ILS was not real pretty either but the landing was good. For anyone who likes to use the Gol Airlines -700WL and -800WL SPF between SBRJ and SBSP, I humbly suggest these two scenery packages. I know that this question is going to start a multitude of comments from both sides, a lot of arguing and I'm sure some trolling, but I just had to ask. This is a question to PMDG. With so many developers such as Aerosoft, Majestic, FS Dreamteam, OrbX, FSinsider and many others releasing either P3D installer updates, updates to software to make them P3D compatible or migration tools, will PMDG now please rethink the idea of releasing a separate P3D versions. Having purchased a licence for the 777 for FSX, I really do not want to have to pay again to be able to move P3D if I wish. Just read Wikipedia about PMDG and saw info that future project is IL62. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/PMDG It is hard to believe that PMDG will step into russian aviation, however i really would love to get IL62 done by PMDG.

Every time I am in southern California area. Los Angeles and below my FSX always makes the time 1 hour ahead then it is usually. I installed FS Real Time then uninstalled it and every time I try to load a flight with the correct time in south California FSX will load again 5 mins later and make the time 1 hour ahead again.

How about it PMDG? You know it's the second most popular aircraft in FSX. I would pay whatever the cost.

Hey guys, I'm having a great time with the 777. Coupled with PFPX, I'm better able to plan ETOPS flights, something I was always interested in. I have wanted a 777 with the technical detail PMDG is known for, for a long time. I finally have it and I'm up to my neck in the manuals and all the training material. I thought that when I bought the 777 I'd be totally happy.... But I find myself dreaming about the 747 V2! I have the NGX and its an ok aircraft but it doesn't fire my imagination like a 777 or a 747. PMDG, A few of us seem to have encountered a problem tyring to connect to FSInn within FSX when flying the 737NGX and 777. See here for more details: http://forum.avsim.net/topic/421555-pmdg-777-fsinn/. This does not appear to affect all PMDG/FSInn users so an exact solution does not seem possible nor am I asking for one. As a workaround, many users simply have loaded a default FSX aircraft, connected to FSInn and then loaded the PMDG 737NGX or the 777. Your manuals say this is a no-no, therefore I was just wondering what, if anything may be affected (is there a performance hit, are the systems affected, etc...) if this work around is used? Can anyone tell me the normal procedure used for resetting and reprogramming your FMC for your next flight during a quick turn-around at the gate.Example;You've just landed at KMDW from KBWI. You're continueing on to KLAS. Your passengers are deplaning. What's the right way to set up the FMC to clear the old route and enter the new one?
