Rob,Back in the days of Fly!2K, you granted a limited expansion of the license for America West Virtual Airlines to post Pete Sterling's repaints with mods to the weights and fuel capacities to match the R/W aircraft in AWE's fleet. Is there any possibility we can do something similar for his Fly!II repaints? What I have in mind specifically are: Modifying the .SVH for each plane's empty mass.Modifying the .VLD for the 14F176Y seating configuration AWE usesModifying the .GAS to match AWE fuel capacitiesAs always, of course, yours is the final word...if it's no, it's no.Thanks,

Mr. R.Randazzo,Is it still possible to download a copy of 777&757 for Fly2. My Harddrive went haywire (uninstalling windowsXP) and all my data was lost which include the 777&757. I went to your PMDG site and I read that downloading a copy is no longer free. Apparently the only receipt I had was the 777 which fortunately still in my e-mail account, however I don't have the receipt for the 757 in my e-mail. Would appreciate your help on this.Thankschris salviejorpll

Many moons ago (i.e. back in the FS95/98 days), PMDG published operating manuals for many popular FS aircraft and provided them at a nominal charge. They don't appear to be sold anymore.I have made reference to these manuals on AVSIM in the past (as I continue to use them for reference) and people have asked me where they can get a copy of such manuals. I am just wondering does PMDG still sell these manuals? If so, how much, and who should people contact? Thanks,J

Gents-I am happy to announce that I've made the first version of the Aerosoft Australia MCP747 DLL available for general use.PLEASE consider this a first release - it has only been tested by one (very eager) user (Bob Lyddy), whom I thank very much for his patience.Keep in mind, this is an UNSUPPORTED release - this means we will not be providing full support for this product, but chances are that I will respond to queries and questions on it, as time permits. Also, keep in mind that I've only had time to test this with the PMDG 757 for Fly!2 - it may well work with the 777, but I haven't tested that functionality.I want to thank Aerosoft Australia for their gracious donat…

Gents-now's the time to express interest on this. How many of you are interested?(I can safely say it's working WONDERFULLY on my side - just a few quirks to sort out, and a beta will be ready within a couple days)...Cheers,

@ PMDG :Hi,I just wanted to ask what kind of system specs the 737NG will need. Just asking because I bought a new CPU three months ago and as a student I do not have that much money to purchase a whole new system. Rather I would like to get a CH Yoke and peddals for the almost real feeling which I miss right now with just having a joystick. Right now I am using a resolution of 1280x1024x32 with everything on high except the AUTOGEN option is turned down to minimum. With PIC I get on ground about 30fps, in flight depends which area 50-70fps. Do you already know how hardware demanding your 737NG with all the systems will be?? Maybe you could say if my system specs will be o…

  17. Seems to me the 777 is too smart for its own good.I flew from KLAX to KSAN without a flightplan. Just used the vector map to orient myself, and a couple of VORs and NDBs for reference. These were dialled in the FMC NAV/RAD pages, with the resulting graphical info displayed in the ND.But on approaching KSAN RWY 09, about 30 mls out, I dialed in the frequency of the ILS -110.90, but on passing the 22 mile distance to the RWY, the ND wasn't showing the glideslope. So I landed by the seat of my pants... So I'm curious- is a FP mandatory to bring the ILS to life. IOW, can the ILS frequency be activated only via the DEP/Arr page?Eytan Ornstein

  18. How many users would purchase the MCP747 from Aerosoft (http://www/mcp747.com) if PMDG was to develop a DLL that would allow it's usage with the B757 / B777?IF there is enough interest PMDG (Lefteris) would be willing to develop the DLL.I currently own the MCP747 and use it with the Project Magenta software for FS2K2 and all I can say is the level of realism and use is INCREDIBLE!!! I'm a diehard Fly! owner (Fly!, Fly!2K & FlyII with ALL of PMDG's aircraft) and would truly like to see a DLL developed that would allow me to integrate the wonderful PMDG aircraft with this great piece of hardware. The quality, support, ease of use, documentation of the MCP747 is second t…

  19. The TWA 757-200 repaint of PMDG's 757-200 for Fly! II is available from the AVSIM server. I didn't have any time last night to work on the TWA St.Louis Rams or Trans World/American Airlines Intrim liveries and didn't want to delay the TWA any longer. The TWA/Rams and TWA/AA liveries will be posted as soon as possible.Pete

  20. Just uploaded the American Airlines 757-223 to the AVSIM server. You will need to own PMDG's 757-200 for Fly! II to use this repaint. Other repaints will be posted as they are completed. The Northwest 757-200, The Richard Harvey, is experiencing some minor technical difficulties and will be ready for departure shortly. In the mean time, here are some screen shots of America West's Ohio. This livery presents a few difficulties on the top and bottom of the fuse that may or may not be correctable. I'll play around some more to see what I can do.Pete

Just sent the Northwest Airlines N536US repaint for Fly! II off to the AVSIM server. I've also completed work on the TWA repaint and will upload her once I've completed work on the St. Louis Rams version. I've also nearly finished the TWA-AA intrim livery and will send that on off too at the same time. Hopefully later tonight. Screenshots of the Northwest and TWA are posted over in the main Fly! forum.Pete

The Northwest 757 is near completion. There are a few issues(aren't there always?)still left to resolve. Vin is fevershly re-working the model for me to help overcome some of the issues and I hope to have this ready for this weekend or the next at the latest. With everyone's permission, I'd like to name this aircraft 'Richard Harvey' out of my respect and thanks.Pete

I have installed the Fly! 2 - simulator only a few days ago and have also bought and installed the PMDG 757. I patched/upgraded the simulator according to the informations on this site to version 230. I deleted the *.HST-files from the aircraft-folder and the default.* - file from the system-folder (I found NO autosave.*-file). I used msconfig to get rid of my Norton-Antivirus-2002 - installation. Still there is NO WAY that I can fly the PMDG-757, it is ABSOLUTELY IMPOSSIBLE to use Fly! 2 and the PMDG 757! EVERY TIME I fly the PMDG-757 either my computer crashes completely (happened once) or the Fly! 2-programme crashes with a runtime-error (happened approximately ten tim…
