I bought the 777 for my FLY!2K. I was given a link to download the plane.Link DOES NOT work!When I try e-mailing support , I get an error message saying I've made a bad request, bla bla...How absurd!The good folks at PMDG HQ, wake up, please. I finally got it to reinstall but only after a ton of grief. It seems that every time I tried to reinstall the 757, the installation program would search for the fly2.exe file on my system. The problem was that I now have had to put more than one version on my system (for backups & reinstalls, etc.). Therefore, the update kept finding the first availably version & would install the update to the .exe to that particular .exe, while it installed the actual 757 files to the directory I kept specifying. The only way I could have the 757 update my fly2.exe to the latest 757 version (PMDG updates the 2.30 fly2.exe file) was to RENAME any & all but one of my othe…

Hey, I just noticed that Captain Sim is also bringing out a Yak, a Yak-3 to be more specific. It will be CFS3 and FS2002 compatible.PMDG....Robert....Lefteris...how I wish you would bring out a high fidelity Gulfstream V or something similar for FS2002. Or perhaps an A340-600 with all the bells and whistles of the FLY!2 airliner series. Rob, I have a sneaky suspicion you just want some stick time in the real Yak-52. I find it hard to believe that there is a large customer base for this aircraft in FS2002, unless of course it will also be CFS3 compatible.....;)Jerome

Hello, I am flying the 757-200 and I can't find the waypoints in the FMC. For instance, if I fly from KPHL to KORD, the many waypoints are not showing up in the FMC. Do I have to manually put them in. They do show up in the aircraft that came with Fly 2. Thanks, Jim

As usual, I spent 7 hours reinstalling FLY2 because it continues to be the most unstable sim on the market. Nonetheless, this time for some reason, I can't install the 757. The installation of the 777 goes flawlessly. Then, I try to reistall the 757 & the program crashes upon entry. I am running the latest version of FLY 2 (.230), & upon installation, I check off that I have the 777 installed. The only way I can run FLY2 again is if I re-reinstall the 777. Hello, all -I'm not sure whether this belongs on this forum or on the SB forum, but here goes anyway:When attempting to fly online using Squawkbox and VATSIM, I cannot get the autopilot on the PMDG 757 to engage. Worse, the aircraft is not in trim, and becomes progressively worse. Pressing (num) 5 and/or shift + (num) 5 (to neutralize all control surfaces) resulted in a hard right bank and pitch up, definitely not the desired result! A look outside before I gave up on the latest attempt showed full left aileron deflection though controls were released, as the aircraft proceeded into a right wingover.What is going wrong here? Purchased the 777 recently (now that I've got a system that will cope with Fly 2's rather demanding nature) and I'm having a real blast. What an amazing learning experience it is. I'd say it's about 3-4 times more complex than the Fly! 757-200.A little question about SID/STARS though: I can't figure out whether the FMC will automatically adhere to altitude restrictions at the waypoints, or will these altitudes have to be set via the MCP? The manual suggests that the FMC adheres to these 'immediately', but I thought the FMC was effectively governed by what's dialed into the MCP window. I have recently licensed B757-200 for Fly! II. I was expecting to see the EADI screeen formatted like the B767-200 for Fly! where the airspeed and altitude with trend vectors are also shown on the same display as the attitude indicator. I have not found any customisation instructions in the manual. Is it possible to change the display mode on the EADI ? B767 PIC for MSFS has implemented such a feature. I was wondering if a similar mechanism also exists for this product. In the readme, it says, "1) As of release time, a bug within FLY!II is causing the retracted landing gear to occasionally re-appear in the down position when the simulator transitions between day/night."It appears to me that the landing gear always stays down at night, rather than only occasionally. Rob / Lefteris,I'm using the 757 and FSBuild (ver 1.4.0) for a route between KLAS and KLAX (here's the FSbuild generated route - KLAS.IDALE1.HEC.J64.CIVET.CIVET4.KLAX/168/)When I load the route in the FMC I noticed the route is listed twice in the legs page and displayed as such on the ND.As I'm deleting the second set of legs from the legs page I receive the message "FMC exception caught in DLLDraw - tage 8" and the FMC disappears and I'm unable to display it again via Shift-N key.My Fly is fully patched and works fine otherwise.If you need additional info, please let me know.Regards,Bob Lyddy

After many years of the other sim, FLYll started calling me. Then I saw the 752 at the PMD site now it started shouting for me. I had FLY a while back and downloaded SKY and was very impressed. I like to fly the commercial aircraft should I run out to the store and buy FLYll and start downloading? Is there anything out there for AI in FLYll? I cannot figure out how to prevent the fuel temp from falling so low.... I couldn't find where in the manual it explains how to HEAT the fuel. hey everyone!!! just finished my first full flight with the 777 and it really kicked butt! got just a couple questions though that i could not figure out after reading the manual. 1. when i was flying (just a short hop between miami and boston)before i have to go to class, i could not get vnav mode to decend to the correct altitude for the waypoint which i was aproaching. i looked it up in the manual, and it said that i should hit the des now> button (6r). however this choice was not on the screen at the time. i was still crusing at FL330 and was supposed to decend to FL280. was there something else that i missed when i put in the restrictions for this waypoint? i did…

Anyway, I still don't have a working keyboard partly because I'm lazy and partly because Las Vegas is a very hot place, and to get in the car and go the computer store is a real annoying ordeal. So... Yes I no longer have the landing gear issue at night, but when... [you guessed it!] flying during the day now, I have the landing gear issue. I don't know how that worked out or how I seemed to have switched the two, but maybe if a PMDG prgammer read this message, it may be useful information, but then again probably not.Jeff
