Hi All, Am finally getting around to play with the "new" NG. I am very facinated with the wind predictions you can enter. However, I have noticed that it is impossible to put predictions on waypoints that are part of your selected DP or STAR. Is that correct or am I make mistakes along the way? Also, on the FORECAST page for the approach, what altitudes would it make sense to enter wind predictions for?Thanks,Boaz

Some of you might remember the suggestion about PMDG offering a 757 stand alone panel? Well go to the FS2004 Panel search in AVSIM Library, sort by downloads; what's no.#1? Seems to be a market there. ;)GrantM

hithere was a repaint list of several liveries in this forum. where is it? i'd like to download a livery, but only can find the few on the PMDG homepage. also in the AVSIM file library, some liveries are missing. i'm looking for a 737-600 LAUDA-livery. i thought i've seen it before, along with many others, but as i said, the topic "user repaint list" is gone...???thx,stu

Hi , During the Advanced Operations Tutorial by Tim Metzinger, he mentions there are 6 pages of SIDs from KSTL, ST. Louis Intl.I have version 1.2 of 737 NG , plus Airac 0313.Still I get only 2 pages of SIDs and the one I need is not included. How can I get more SIDs for that airport ?thanks, Flare

Hi ,Dear PMDG.I got a small question.Because it was x-mass and i spent all my mony on new pc-games im running out of mony.But there is left some mony for the queen of sky later on.So, i guess i gona skip the -800/-900 series of your planes.And when you upload that aircraft you also will have a updated and more realistic FMC on the -800/-900 series.But will this also avail (free update) for the NG series.Regards,Ramon.

Hi,I tried to add Maersk a.o that I downloaded from PMDG but a popup tell`s me that I cant open the aircraft cfg fill (auto install).Any idea what the problem could be and how to fix it (my windows config is ok).Kind Regards Svend

I modified my panel.cfg so I can check out the nice wing views, but I noticed that when I switch back from the side views to looking forward, I get the AP disengage horn and it cuts out.It doesn't happen every time, but often enough to be annoying. To reproduce, all I have to do is look out a side view and then return to the front view (CTL+3, then CTL+8).Anyone else experience this? I did a search but couldn't find any posts.Thanks,Patrick

Help!I've installed PMDG 737NG in FS2002 but it crashes everytime I select any variant of the 737NG.My system is low spec but I'd like to know, should 737NG work if all the FS2002 variables are set for low performance? Here are the details:Celeron 500MHz,128Mb, 3Dfx Voodo3.Gdiplus.dll installed in Windows/System32 folder (also tried it in FS2002 folder and the C: folder).The 737NG-700 is displayed with black wings and tailplane during the FS2002 select screen.On pressing select the screen goes blank and sometimes displays: "Ddhelp. This program has performed an illegal operation" and locks up.Everthing in FS2002 tweaked for fastests frame rate. I don't want to look at any…

HiI finally bought the 737 today. Just couldnt resist it anymore, and it aint that much money. Turned out to be the right choice, I am extremely satisfied with it so far. :-)But I'm wondering how to get the bird to start cold and dark..? (sorry if this is answered somewhere else, I did my best to find any answers to this before posting..)

Hello All -OK, I need you experts to tell me what happened....I am flying from KTPA to KMIA today, everything is great. Set up for ILS approach RWY 9L in Miami, everything still great. About 8 miles out, I experienced engine failure! Both engine shut down. Needless to say, I ended up as an unwelcome guest on the golf course.Any ideas? Did I push the wrong button?? I had just went to 10 degree flaps when this happened.Obviously, I am not a pilot so anyone with more knowledge is asked to respond, which is about 99% of you.Thanks!Kevin

Please let me know if there are any problems with the STARS I posted for the above airports on the NavData site . Unfortunately time did not allow for testing of all STARS to all approaches .

I still have the problem of my plane wanting to go to the right after I disconnect the autopilot on final approach. I will hand fly the plane and it stays stable all the way up to the cruising altitude. I will even disengage and re-engage the autopilot up to the cruise and its fine. Yet when I am on final and disconnect, the bird continues to yaw right. It is very difficult to get centered. I have to put it back on autopilot and do an autoland......but what the fun in that!? I have deleted and reinstalled SU2 and the problem still is there. I used to be able to fly manually on approach, but not any more. It seems that ever since i got AS2004 I have had this happe…

HiI'm attempting to construct the LIFFY 1H SID out of Dublin Intl into the FMC. This requires two manually entered coordinates. However, each time i enter them into the LEGS page, i get the message, "NOT IN DATABASE".I've read various threads on the correct format for coordinates (with differing answers)- for a coordinate of N53'28.69, W006'15.81, i entered N53287W06158 with no spaces or decimal places. However, this and other methods, always give the same response.Am i doing something wrong here or is it not possible to enter manual coordinates into the LEGS page ?RegardsGary

Every time I try to use slew with the 737 my plane engines shut down completely, warning lights and all. I tried to save a situation with engines up and running with hopes it would default back to that configuration when I exited slew mode but it didn't work. Engines quit just like before. Any ideas? All is fine with my SU2 Installation, except for the FMC, which only displays a black screen, Tried reinstalling FS9, my PMDG 737 to no avail. All other functions on the panel work fine, in both 2d and VC mode. The FMC with my PSS airbus works fine, any ideas what it could be. I have a Pentium 4 2.5 ghz, 512mb ram, 64mb Nvidia Geforce MX 440 Graphic card.Regards

I hope this hasn't been covered before, but I'm having a problem with TNG. When I pause the simulation (FS9), very often one or both of my engines quit when I return. Needless to say, this can be very awkward both for my virtual passengers as well as for my flight sim self esteem!Has anyone else (a) had this or a similar engine problem, and (:( how did you fix it?Bob Jones (the shrink from Georgia, not the PMDG guy)

Hi GuysDoes anyone know of a good piece of Voice Recognition software that can be used so that i can speak commands and then let it do the work e.g. If is say "FLAPS 1", IT would imitate the keypress for once notch of flaps for example.I find it very difficult to handle all the commands for the plane and try to handle ATC on VATSIM, it's as if i don't have enough hands (or fingers) !:(Any suggestions are welcomed !Thanks

Gents, They got it done. PMDG team put together a program that allows us dial up users to get the bird. Worked great spilt up the file like we asked and I even used DAP with resume support so I was able to download the 14MB files in two days time. Just installed and went without a hitch just flowed through. The program you download doesn't really install the bird but creats another program, kinda mashes it together and from there the bird is made.Thanks PMDG, remember us when you put together the awesome 747 and you will have more buyers.David

Not sure if this has been discussed, I couldn't find the thread. Today I had a flight inwhich my fuel distribution was as follows, 75% right and left tanks, 0% center. After takeoff I noticed an "imbal" under the left tank, I watched and noticed that only the left tank was being used for fuel, not the right. I had no other warning lights and my left and right fuel pumps were on, center off. I tried cross feed open and closed but not difference. Anyone know why and how to prevent this?Presario

Congratulations to the developers of the PMDG 737 - what a great looking plane, panel, sounds etc - all superior and well worth the price paid.BUT.... I am frustrated, as I cannot seem to land this thing. Once I am on the approach a mysterious cross wind blows the aircraft literally sideways.I have this problem regardless if I using a third party weather generator or not.Perhaps I am just not qualified to fly a 737. I have been using Microsoft flight simulator products since 1990. I am sure I do not know everything like some simmers, as I "fly" mainly for the fun of it - and I cannot pretend to know every aspect of flying jet aircraft.I did not have this problem with t…
