It seems on my system (P4 2.8 1gig ram GeForce 4600) I get pretty decent framerates for the most part (about 15 - 18) but on approach I am down to a 4 - 5 frame slide show. It seems the landing view helps a bit more than main view, but can anything else be done? Thanks. Tom

Hi PMDG,in Takeoff Ref page of FMC it doesn't work automatical the V1, VR, V2 takeoff speeds setting. After flaps degree setting (10) nothing happens pressing FMC 1R, 2R, 3R with left mouse button.Andrea

Hi PMDG,it is very difficult for me to understand why, during an EGLL-EBBR flight, the FMC after some waipoints misses the route (i can see the route line without discontinuities).I still have the problem in engaging the VNAV button. The aircraft is stunning, the sounds are the most realistic I have ever heard, everithing at the best level, but... I'd like to complete a flight planned by FMC without problems. Please, is there a tutorial in order to have the "how to do" of the 737 FMC?Andrea

Hi guys,Two related questons. Some days ago the authors of the EHAM SIDs and STARs noted that the use of the DIRECT command would cause problems, as in the following exampleSID LEKKO1S RNW 24 NAVAID OVERFLY EH001 DIRECT NAVAID EH039 NAVAID LEKKO 6000where after passing EH001 the route line would disappear from the ND.Has there been any news on this?I checked it out for myself and indeed when I simply leave out the word DIRECT there is no problem. On stuydying the relevant Jeppessen chart I noticed that their RNAV procedure reads like thisTHR24 - EH001 - EH039 - Lekko Int.What exactly is the meaning of this information? Is it for the pilot to check that his FMC gives the sa…

Please help me PMDG support or anyone else that may know what the problem is. Whenever I try to change a keyboard command, it just defaults to the letter "B" and it will not accept any key presses. Thanks

Hello captains,I am planning to buy the CD-Version of the PMDG 737, which will hopefully be out at Jan 15th (read that at aerosoft.de)But before I do so I would like to have a few questions answered:1.)If I buy the CD-Version, will I be able to add the 800/900 upgrade via download or do I have to wait for the CD-release upgrade?BTW What will the 800/900 ugrade add? Any release date known?2.) Does the FMC features missed approach procedures and RNAV appr. mode?3.) How detailed are the systems simulated? (Can work with the abnormal procedures or are the buttons just for the dummy effect?)[i sometimes have the impression using the SSW Airbus (compared with my good old 767PIC…

The question - what are the two CWS buttons under the autopilot for? Cannot find a reference in the manual. Now the tip, which does not seem to be mentioned in the manual. Quite by accident I found that if you right click the altitude button it increases in increments of 1000 and likewise the heading and speed buttons increase in increments of 10.

Sirs,I have decided to wait till the CD is released, which is usually better value, and I'd like to know if the CD wil include the 800/900 series? Also, looking at the shots on your website their does not appear to be any rudder/aileron trims or ident switches on the pedestalhttp://www.precisionmanuals.com/images/pro...io_throttle.jpgIf the 800/900 includes a weather radar will it be able to pick up ground returns i.e. be fully modelled? Also will you make the 900X in the future?Happy New Year,PaulBTW - Any ETA on the CD ?

I was pleasantly surprised to find that the ENG OUT page is modelled. However, I was less than pleasantly surprised to find that I couldn't get out :-)In my Boeing manual it says that you can either simply look at he page or actually select it as active, and even if you have done so the usual ECON etc. prompts are there to get back if you change your mind.Anyway, since my curiosity had already gotten me into trouble I decided to make the best of it and actually shut down one engine to make an emergency landing at ELLX. Sadly, it ended with a rather interesting display of the GPWS system a few hundred feet short of the threshold :-)But while going over my options I realize…

Hi PMDG,I do not find in the FMC USER'S MANUAL any explanation about "SEL" value of SEL/OAT field in N1 LIMIT page of FMC. What is it and what is the unit of measure?Andrea

It appears that there's a limit to the number of livery's that can be added, I suppose there's not way to change that? Keep up the great work!

Hi, Just bought 737 right off I can say what a product. Awesome. I love it so much. My only gripe is that Shift / has no effect what so ever when it comes to arming the autothrottles. If I place the mouse on the arm detent and click it seems to happen but when you go to external view the spoilers are actually raised a bit. just wondering if there has been any ideas on this so far..Don Harrison

Hi, I have the keys mapped to the extend and retract concorde visor and nose fully to get the stairs up and down, and can hear them inside the cockpit being extended. But I cannot see them extended outside the airplane. Any idea why this is so?Thanks,Rickp.s. How do I edit my profile so I can get my user name to my real name, rather than "jupiter87135?"

Hi GuysI know i have posted something similar to this post, but i need to get this clarified once and for all...Please tell me what the proper way is to create a flightplan in FSBUILD 2.1 and INCORPORATE that into PMDG FMC...The reason i am asking is that i am aware ( according to Ernie from FSBUILD) that the PMDG and FSbuild SID/STAR databases are not the same. So what do i do ?1 Create a FSBUILD flightplan but EXCLUDE SID/STARS and use the PMDG FMC's SID's and STARS......or.........2Create a FSBUILD Flightplan using it's own SID/STARS.......and EXCLUDE PMDG's SID's & STARS from the FMC ?If i use FSBUILD's Flighplan and just export that to PMDG that is OK, but the SI…

Hi guys,I had a chance to talk with a B734/B738 First officer last week, he have FS2002 and DF734 on his laptop. I asked his oppinion on DF734 Flight dynamics and here is what I understand from conversation..1 - FS Aircraft or FS itself have too much drag. He said there is no chance to slow down while descending unless using speedbrakes. For this reason 737s needs very good descend planning, especialliy NG series.2 - Yaw dampers, you know the rest.. PMDG, any chance to find a solution?3 - Pitch sensivity, He said 737 is very pitch sensetive airplane but it's stable on trim. He found most FS aircraf unstable even in correctly trimmed position.

Hi, Which of the 2 weights is correct for B736? In the page (4-8 specifications and limitations) the Maximum Takeoff weights is 127000lbs, but in the load master is 144000lbs.Thank you FriendlyPaul

Yeah!! We'll have not one, but TWO 747s for FS9. PSS has said they are going to make another one for FS9. I can't help wonder why this always happens in the payware community? Is creating something different really so taboo?Chris

Hello all,I have just uploaded a complete "CYVR" file to Navdata for your enjoyment. I have also attached it below. Please feel free to find any bugs that exist and let me know about them. I take criticism well :) . These procedures are based on Canada Air Pilot (CAP) data. There are no syntax errors that I am aware of, no DISCO's that I could find, and to the best of my knowledge, these procedures are 100% accurate. Unfortunately, I could not include any "at or below/above" altitude constraints (I had to adjust some of the altitude constraints slightly to keep it as real as possible). Feel free to write me with your suggestions or recommendations! Roger Preciousroge…

Hello PMDG and others!!!!...about DUAL CHANNEL APPROACH...I've just made one with only 1 generator(and no APU)...I thought dual approach were only possible with two generators...Correct me if I'm wrong...I even tested dual channel app with only one engine...GS and LOC engaged in CMD with on problem...Maybe something for your "to do" list, if not already in...PS:the FMC manual doesn't talk about EO pages...I guess it's because you feel this is not complete????Also in FMC DES FORCASTS page, on line on line R2, can't enter QNH...do you confirm??? Only been able to enter ISA DEV...Thanx in advanceEssono Fritz

I have an external radio/autopilot panel that uses a keyboard interface. Will v1.2 allow radio tuning/auto pilot control/lights etc. with keyboard commands? If so, is it possible to change the key assignments? Thanks.

Fellow pilots,After flying the 700 on my own for a few weeks (thnaks to Fred and Timothy fot their great tutorials) I decided to put some pax in by using the load manager. However, loading the NG is not that simple. I suffered extreme pith-problems. Searching the forum showed me, that weight and balance is extremely important in order to load the plane properly. I tried various times but couldn't find the right answers. Is there anyone who has a "load schedule" which allows me to seat 140 pax with the correct amount of cargo? Thanks and regards,Michel

I purchased 737NG on last night and started the download. All was well until my power went out. I am still without an internet connection as of today, but did get my system back up. I am using my brother's email to send this message. Is it possible for me to re-download my file from my brother's computer or will I have to wait until my ISP get's me back up. I ask this because when attempting to access the file from his computer via the download link included in the email I received I get an invalid page. I wil be happy to provide my puchase information via email. ThanksRobert
