Hello, I'm seeing some differences in the weight limitations between the manual and the load manager. For example, the manual shows the maximum takeoff weight for the -700 as 133,000 pounds, but the load manager shows it as 153,500 pounds. Other values are inconsistent as well, but some are the same, such as max zero fuel weight at 120,500 pounds.I tried to check the values against some data I found on the 'net, but those numbers were different yet again, so I have no idea which source is accurate for the sim, or if they're all correct and I'm just not interpreting them right. Can anyone shed some light? I'm writing a fuel planner utility and I need to have the right numb…

Hi peopleIs there someone how want to create the Stars for Barcelona in Spain.I got the charts and i know there are missing some stars in the data of PMDG.And i've seen on my charts that there are realy match gates.So the gates i can do by my self.But to create the stars of the airfield i need someone?Thanks,Ramon.PS. for the one hows interested! I made a update to the EDDF procedures and put all the gates you can emagine in there, also all aprons.

until yesterday all ok; then after unistallation of pc cillin 2002 antivirus a very strange thing; it's all right in my pc but 737 load editor is dead!! I can open it but I can't modify anything; all the numbers are 0 and the sliders to change the payload don't move!!I tried everything; I have unistalled and then reinstalled PMDG 737but nothing! I can't understand; perhaps unistalling pc cillin some dll file or other file coud have been deleted?could someone help me or give me some ideas?Thank you very much Alberto

I get strange readouts from the barometer-altimeter. whe I checked I noticed this happens only with the PMDG737.here's what happens:1) Default 737 - D/L weather, bit B : barometer is set up and altitude is ok (corresponds the one showing after SHFT + Z)2) change to PMDG : altitude is OK but barometer invariabely shows 29.923) hit B : pressure is correct but the altitude is wrong4) wait a minute and hit B again : the pressure changes (towards 2992 until after some (long) time it becomes 2992)I'm clueless! does anybody have an Idea?obviously the wrong altitudes influence (wrongly) the vertical profile as the altitude readout by the plane is incorrect.Oh, yes, obviously thes…

Yes...Yes...the PMDG 737NG is both!!!!! Since I got it on the 22nd, I have not even looked at another plane on my FS game since! This plane is awe-inspiring! Thanks soooooo much PMDG! I will be looking forward to the 800/900 series, as well as the Beeh 1900!

Hi people,As i sad before in a topic i made a flight from EHAM to LFML very, very nice flight!!!!!!!!!!But a small correction have to be made.In LFML the star works perfect except the missed approach procedure.It shows a holding point of a 1000NM from the airport.Try to fill in the MTL 3C star and the RWY have to be ILS32R,there is also a trans. and there you fill in the MTL trans.Let me know,Ramon.

Hi,During a flight I noticed that the actual heading displayed in the ND differs from the heading set in the A/P.In the picture below a heading on 035 is set but a heading of 040 is flown. Is this due to MagVar or something else?http://forums.avsim.net/user_files/54569.jpgAnother question relating a autolanding.I was in APP mode (dual A/P engaged). In the list of approaches on the Arrivals page in the FMC, I often see something that says TACAN (then RWY X). What is this, what does it stand for, & how does it differ from the other approaches? I know what ILS approaches are, and VOR, VORDME, but I am not sure what this one is. Also, what does RNAV stand for on the approach page. & is this yet ANOTHER type of approach?Thanks for the help.Chris Catalano

I'll add my kudos to SU2.Bought it out whe SU2 was released - it took a couple of weeks to get the aircraft down pat.But in a flight today from KSLC-KRNO, it all came together. From taking off in the soup of KSLC with 1/4 mile visability to the fun cable car ride down the mountain into Reno (have to fly that bad boy manually) at dusk while another SWA 737 shot a parallel approach - it was the most amazing experience I've had on FS.FS2004 and the PMDG 737 are truly a quantum leap in flight simming.ed rutledgekdfw

Hi, 1. When you switch from VC view to Main Panel view, many times it happens that I am for example descending and at FL 230, but it still shows the cruise altitude, then I return to the VC, I undock the view, then Main Panel again, and now correct, so it means there is a lack of time between the two views, if someone can understand me2. Just curious as to why 270 is the default MCP speed that is automatically set when using TOGA for takeoff and you first enable the autopilot. Is this configurable, or the standard default on the NG?Jason Barlow

Hi everyone,I read somewhere on the fourm that changing the IRQ settings on your sound card will stop the sound flickers. However, when I tried to change the IRQ settings, I couldnt figure it out:-hmmm. Can someone give me some direction on how to do this, I would really appreciate it...these sound flickerings are starting to get annoying.

Finally got the update and seems to be pretty nice with the VERY little time I have been able to fly it. The very first thing I checked and the one thing I was hoping would get "fixed" was the multi monitor stuff. Alas it still doesn't work. All my other favorite FS2K2 planes corrected the issue with their updates. (Ready for Pushback 747, MAAM B25 and Bill G's ERJ 145 to name a few) Undocking the overhead panel (or any panel for that matter)causes the main panel to black out. Any plans to fix this?? I hate pop up windows and only fly with multi monitors (4 of them).... in order to keep the main panel clear. By the way, is that a "trend" vector target I now se…

When i have to putt the cruize wind in the INIT REF page for the takeoff performance, i dont know wich wind to fill in.For example i planned a flight from Amsterdam to Marseille and the wind at first five min. of cruise is 250/55and right of Paris the wind is 290/58then in the middle of France the wind is 340/57and at Marseille at self the wind is 360/55Then wat of these figures i have to fill in the cruise wind?PS. this was the wind today on my flight from EHAM to LFML.Also the problem with the wind is that the T/D is match to late.Best regards,Ramon.

hi guys!i don't know whats wrong but i got a big problem with my ND. Although i installed newest nav data the ND still shows all data placed a few miles north. the plane is on the runway and the ND shows that the airport is a few miles north. Somebody told me once that it is something with Win XP ?!thanx

Merry Christmas to you all!I'm creating a Christma flight plan in FS2004 from Anchorage PANC to Juneau PAJN. It includes some 15 Santa waypoints.I go into the 737NG's FMC but I can't find a way to import this into the FMC.So I go back into the MS flightplan and print out the file via Notes, and then I try to type in each waypoint into the FMC of the 737NG.But the 737NG only accepts about half of these waypoints.How can I conveniently create flightplans and import these in this wonderful aircraft?And why doesn't the 737NG accept so many of the waypoint I enter?Lars

Hello. I seem to be having difficulties with my CYLW airport IAPs. The FMC does not report any errors with the sidstar file, but for some reason the aircraft commences descent as soon as I reset the MCP altitude. The aircraft only descends about 1500 feet, then levels off. It does not maintain the 283kt descent as commanded by the FMC. Instead, it holds about 260kts. I don't get any DRAG REQUIRED, and the VNAV and LNAV are lit up on the MCP. On the FD, it shows VNAV PATH DESCENT. What is wrong with my file?Some of the altitude restraints are a tad aggressive, but not too bad. Has anyone had this happen?Kenny Rogers

After creating a new repaint of the 737 then adding and editing the aircrft.cfg, then launching Flightsim and selecting the paint scheme, Flightsim exits immediately...Is there something slightly different from SU1 repaint than with SU2?Troy
