HiI am trying to configure the Spoiler onto the first lever (far left as you look at it) of a CH USB Flight sim yoke. I am using a registered copy of the latest FSUIPC and also PMDG on XP home with FS9.The thing is I can get it to move - but erratically. I think the problem stems from the fact that the axis under FSUIPC is either in or out, and this clashes with the arm "stop" - but I am guessing.Anyone figured it out yet?Steve PS PMDG This a great piece of kit!!

In the default 737, I often file IFR "GPS direct", then toggle the autopilot nav/GPS switch to GPS and just go straight to my destination. I'm not much into navigating via the more complex SID/route/STAR, and I like to use the default FS ATC.I know this isn't "as real as it gets", but whats the appropriate way to program the FMC to fly me "GPS direct", so that when FS ATC tells me "proceed on course" I can set it and forget it?Thanks,Patrick

Does anyone in the forum still have SU1? I would dearly love to get a copy of it, as SU2 has way too many problems for me to use it. I get constant crashes to desktop when starting with a PMDG plane, in-flight crashes to desktop, autoland feature that just will not work no matter what. I would be most grateful if someone has saved a copy of SU1 and could send it to me. At least I would be able to fly the plane (I had NO problems with SU1!) I have contacted the support team and they have not replied. All I want is to be able to fly or get my money back, even if it is SU1. Thanks. G'Day everyone.I am unable to purchase this addon over the internet as my parents wont allow me to use a credit card because they believe it is too risky. I have tried talking to them with no luck.What I am woundering is if there is a CD verion coming any time soon? Or some other way I can go about buying this addon?E.G....A friend pay for me (and I pay them back)?I have followed the progess of this bird since and before its release. My current system is a P4 2.5GHz Processor, 512 MB DDR RAM, ATi Radeon 9800 Pro 128MB. With the sliders set at medium levels, using the PMDG 737 with Radar Contact active using Adventure Display, Flight Deck Companion active and Active Sky 2004 active, my frame rates are about 15 fps. This is without any AI traffic and very little Autogen.With Radar Contact 4 promising more interaction with AI, I would like to be able to have it active without too much a hit on frame rates.My question is this: Would an upgrade to 1Ghz PC3200 DDR RAM increase my fps noticeably?Thanks for any help on this matter.-Phil Brown

For the first time since i purchased this aircraft... i finally got it loaded and running.. (just bought Radeon 9200).. How do you go about doing this?Lately, the only way I have been getting the FMC to work is by setting my Dep/Arr airports and then finding an approach for the arr. airport. That seems to work ok, but how would you find a waypoint in between, because LNAV does not hold the flightplan to well!

Well as far as I'm concerned this is an outrageous example of software company coersion. I have been informed that in order to unpack my copy of SU2 I must use the latest version of WinZip ( 8.1 ). I use windows XP Pro and heve not had a problem unzipping any zip file untill SU2 came along. It will not open the SU2 zip file after 2 different downloads, I have emailed PMDG support about this and there response is that they used Winzip 8.1 to pack up the files and I must use the same version to unpack them. Winzip is payware at $29 . I paid $40 US to buy 737NG and now they say I must spend $29 US to unpack the update. I wonder if Winzip is giving them a cut of the sales of …

Hi, I am a current licensed user of PMDG 737 NG which I purchased November 2003. Using DAP 7.0 I tried to download Service Update 2 from the URL link provided in the licensed customer upgrade notification e-mail, but with no success. It seems that the download server is not Resume Support enabled. I am connected to the internet via a dial-up connection, so Resume Support enabled downloads are essential to success. After several futile attempts, I purchased Always Resume Service from DAP ($20.00), activated and enabled the Always Resume feature in the DAP 7.0 download manager's option menu and tried again. But for some reason the Always Resume service won't work and …

Hi, I have had SU2 for a while now and has worked perfectly. But today I made a flight plan, set the weather, and then selected the PMDG 737-700. I pressed fly now and it went to the load screen and the load progress box cam up. I waited up 20 minutes but the progress stayed at 0. After about 25 minutes at 0 progress FS brings up an error screen and forces me out of FS. I have tried restarting my Computer numerous times but that hasn't helped. I'm completely clueless about what could be wrong. Could someone please help?Thanks for any help,Scott Johnston

I know it's a bit early to ask questions about the upcoming release, but I hope to "some" answers. Firstly, I've been looking at the RFP 747 and it looks a little overwelming, like I need to have a 747 pilot licens or something. How precise/hard are you planning on making the 747, hopefully us without a pilot licens can still play? :)I now you don't want to say anything about a release date and I can see why, but is it within a year or half a year...I've been looking at the RFP, as mentioned, but I don't want to buy them both as I prefer your product.ThanksMikkel

Hi all,Please note that this is my first post on this forum. The problem is as follows.If I make a manuel flightplan in the FMC from, let's say, KLAX to KBOS I select the departure rnw and SID first.The the problem starts. Once I entered all the waypoints on the route and the arrival info and setup the FMC accordingly I take a look at the PROG page to see the fuel prediction at KBOS. All figures, except the present fuel quantity show 0.So after going through the LEGS page somewhere halfway down I find a waypoint wich shows wronge values! (after pressing EXEC offcourse)It says 24/----- whilst the previous one says 315/350 as it should.So all the waypoints after the wronge …

Good morning,I have seen dozens of messages with problems concerning: Not In Database. But none have really solved my problem. I try to import .rte files in the FMC but always get the same message, Not In Database.I refer to FS2002 and PMDG 737 NG V1 patched.In FS2002 main folder, I have a sub folder named PMDG. I've just bought and installed FSBuild which seems to work perfectly with the PMDG737.I have noticed however that if I just load a route into the FMC (FSbuild or otherwise) without going through the FS9 "Create flightplan" page, ATC has no idea of my intentions. Accordingly you are not automatically issued the appropriate vectors for departure or landing, you can request flight following and landing clearance of course, and you can though, fly your SIDS and STARS uninterrupted.My question then, is there a consensus on which method to follow?1. Do you use "create flightplan" regardless of how you program your Route to be issued and follow vectors? (i.e not necesarilly use …

G'day GuysFirst up you have done a simply awesome job on the NG,well done!!I am wondering if he option of random failures will be available at some point in the future?The reason i ask is the amount of immersion it adds is incomparable to any other feature you can possibly add to the sim.The main problem with scripted failures(apart from the training benefit)is you know exactly what and exactly when something will go wrong.With a random failure generator life becomes alot more like the real world.V1 calls become important and essential where now they are now effectively a token feature with no real meaning as you know an engine is not going to stop.Or if it is going to st…
