To anybody who does the repaint of the Southwest 737-700's with the winglets either in the Spirit or Classic colors. Please do not write Southwest on the winglets. The winglets are painted to resemble the tail, but lack the actual name on the winglets. I know this for fact because I see them on a daily basis. We have at least 4 of them come into KBWI on a daily basis, and at least 2 originate and RON there every day.

Hello everyone,I have two remarks/questions:1) When using the VOR/LOC function during the departure phase of the flight (for instance to track a radial during the SID), it seems to be impossible to use VNAV therafter. Also several pages on the CDU (CLB and CRZ) are not available anymore after using VOR/LOC.It does not happen a lot, but on certain airports (like Innsbruck) it is necessary to track a LLZ during a phase of the SID. When VNAV is engaged therafter, it won't connect. Is this a bug or is it the way the real plane behaves too?2) During the take-off roll of any SECOND flight with the panel, I get an annoying Beep Beep Beep-sound. Usually this means that the take o…

I landed on rw 1R EHAM(Schipol) last night, and I wonder why I got no distance readings, I use them to set my speed and flaps. Is this a bug or is there a normal explanation.Ole

First, Merry Christmas to all,I searched through the avsim database of repaints and downloaded many liveries also older than the release of SU2. Dear PMDG, Now that SU2 has ironed out all the loose ends, I must request that you address if your upcoming -800/-900 model will having the following capabilities: 1. Support for the CPFLIGHT 737MCP Panel http://www.cpflight.com/index.htm2. Project Magenta's MFD, ND, EICAS and CDU displays http://www.projectmagenta.com3. Most importantly: Be able to remove and reposition the MFD, DRU, EICAS and CDU displays on to other monitors (either direct or by a network, thus defeating the need to use Project Magenta's software. After installing the 1.2 version onto fs9 i havn't been able to hear the copilot call out V1, Rotate, V2 ect. It seems like the 737NG is a very loud plane because I have trouble hearing online ATC so I have to turj down the engine sound ect. Could this be why I can't hear it?ThanksBilly

Is PRE-FLT COMPLETE supposed to show before you've specified flap configuration and v-speeds on the takeoff page? I notice that the PRE-FLT COMPLETE indicator is displayed as soon as I enter the TAKEOFF REF page - even though I haven't entered any data for flap or v-speeds. In the '67, this data must first be input before the FMC gives you the green light. Not so in the NG?Jason Barlow

I got an LCD monitor for Christmas to replace my heat generator I had before. After configuring it to look best I decided 1024 X 768 didn't look good on it, so I increased it to 1280 X 1024.Now when I load the PMDG in 2002 my framerates are low as expected, but they are better in 2004? I didn't really change anything in FS9 except a couple autogen settings, but not what I thought would increase from 15 to 25 FPS. 2002 doesn't seem to care what I lower my settingd to, it still performs less than before.Oh well, it looks awesome at this resolution!! 1024 x 768 made many things blurry in the sim, even the scenery.Chris

Do you have to use liveries that are post SU2 for them to work or can you for instance use a livery posted on AVSIM from August 2003.Will this work for SU2 ???Andy

Just started using the PMDG 737 and am impressed. I am an experienced Dreamflight 737-400 captain, but needed a new challenge.The capture and track of glideslope and localizer on approach is AWESOME with the PMDG model...100 percent better than the DF 737, and the autothrottle is equally impressive. Very well done, folks.Here's the problem I am having. When I load up the PMDG 737 (600 or 700) with either 2D or virtual, it functions wonderfully. However, when I go back out and load up either ActiveSky or FS METEO for weather generation and come back into the sim, it gets choppy and sticky. Hi Everyone,I ran into a problem (I think) while setting up a flight. Here is the nitty gritty:Route: KDFW DAL7.TXK J42 BKW J147 CSN.OTT5 KBWI I programed by first entering the departure and destination airports. Then I selected DEP/ARR and entered in the pertinant departure and arrival data.On page two of the Route system, I then entered BKW from TXK and cleard the DISCO from BKW to CSN. Then I told the FMC to use J42 from TXK to BKW and J147 from BKW to CSN. I checked the Prog page to see the distance and saw almost 3000nm!!!After looking at the legs pages I saw FUZ, ABI and other J42 waypoints way WEST of TXK were loaded?? Is anyone else experiencing intermediate shuttering with 737ng. I'm talking about a studder in the sound every two to three minutes regardless of where the plane is? I'm using the FPS friendly clouds (32 bit) and I have recently set my TextureAGP=0 and TEXTURE_BANDWIDTH_MULT=40 as the FAQ tuning for optimum performance suggest. I didn't have the problem before I made the changes.. however my frame rates are better now.Presario

I've seen a few people have made web pages with custom SIDs and STARs that they have made, and I'm wondering if it might be a good thing for the PMDG customer community if we had one central place where SID/STAR authors could post their creations, and the rest of us could search through them and download them.Building database-driven web sites is what I do for a living, so this is something I could put together myself pretty quickly.
