Howdy,Didn't I see a ways back while SU-2 was being developed some screen shots of a Shamu [the whale] Southwest Airlines livery that was developed? I thought it was waiting for SU-2, but I do not see it in the DL section of the PMDG web site.Scott M.

I've had this plane for about a month and have tried to learn all of the functions and just don't have the time or the patience. I keep finding myself flying the default and freeware 737's due to my lack of understanding of this complex plane. While I'm sure that it is great for most people it just has too many complex procedures required for flying for me. My question, is there a way to fly this plane with GPS without using the FMC? It appears possible to fly with VOR's, but I prefer the GPS flights as they are usually shorter. If anyone could help me be able to fly this great plane I'd sure appreciate it.

HiHaving read a few reviews about the 737NG, I am interested in buying the product. I have also read that the installation routine can be a bit awkward, where a machine specific key is generated, and the installation can fail.It is stated on the website that the aircraft is FS2002 and FS9 compatible, but before I purchase, can it be installed in both at the same time?I run FS2002 perfectly, and FS9 can make my PC struggle a bit, also FS9 does not have enough add-ons to make it the ONLY flight sim to use at the moment. This is why I need to know whether it can be installed to both sims at the same time.ThanksGraham

When I am all finished with everything on the ground, I start engines and take off. After I am over 1000ft, I turn the aircraft in direction of flight path (pink line). My problem is that I'll turn on LNAV, and it will follow it (path, pink line) for a while, then it will start to not follow it and will get like 5 miles of error from the flight path, is that normal?

Hi folks!I've just posted the next version of my fuel planner utility. It's still a beta, but I think I've found most of the bugs. I've also added support for viewing and entering weights in kilograms as well as pounds. I also corrected the operating limitations. You can see a screenshot and read more about the program, and download it of course, on my web page:http://www.metacraft.com/737NGFP/Currently the program pops up a warning that it's a beta when you first run it. Once I feel confident that there are no bugs, I'll post a version that doesn't have the popup. Please feel free to download the program and play around with it. Email me with any suggestions, comments, or…

Hiya,Just a question on the 1900 panel. I notice that inbetween the radio stacks, and under the standby AI, there is a large square bare part of the panel with only three little black bits, one on top of the other. What are they? Also, are you going to put a weather radar in there? Most 1900 cockpits I have seen have one right there. Did FS 2004 not have solid clouds that could be picked up by a radar guage? that would be neat if PMDG included WX radar on the 744 and 1900, the first ever fully function wx radar in FS, ever! Richard.

The TWA with winglets is ready for upload. This time I painted the belly ;-) and checked the entire plane with FS Repaint.I also noticed that for the other repaints I had used an old (wrong) version of DXTBmp.So this time it should be all correct in 32-bit format. As it's a fantasy livery, maybe someone has some suggestions (as for the winglets)...GreetingsThomashttp://forums.avsim.net/user_files/55764.jpg

Is there a "cold and dark cockpit" mode with the 737? If not, I'll just try and set one up and see if I can save it. I taxied in after a flight and went through the shutdown checklist, restarted, and while taxiing out I noticed yellow flickering on my right engine nacelle and what appeared to be fog going by. I went to exterior view and sure enough it wasn't fog, but smoke spewing from my plane! My plane was on fire!! I guess I missed something during my shutdown and restart. Very realistic though, I must say! I figured a cold and dark start might help me avoid and track what I overlooked. :( :D Regards, T…

Hello. I'd really like to get the 737NG but can anyone advise me about system specs, please. I'm running an Athlon XP2000 (1.67GHz), 512MB DDR RAM and an ATI 9600 PRO. I have no problems with FS9, don't have any other FS programmes running, and get reasonable frame rates (c.20-25 FPS with mid-range settings)using the LAGO Twin Otter, DF Cessna 310 and PSS A340.Would such a set-up realistically cope with the 737, which I gather from previous posts is a bit more demanding? If anyone's running it successfully on a similar machine I'd love to hear.Thanks.Ian

Thank you very much for doing a regional airline aircraft, much appreciated. Question, will the 1900 have a 2D cockpit with the same options as your B737-600, VC or no VC. Not a fan of the VC cockpits, still love a well done and accurate 2D cockpit :)thanks and keep up the excellent work..Bruce U

Hi PMDG,a suggestion for the next 737 patch/version: to simplify the selection of the different panels with mouse, please position the "MZALFOTRI" keys always in the same place (eg. left lower corner of video) in all panels.Best regardsAndrea

  22. I remember reading the answer to this "issue!" somewhere but can't find it, so I'd appreciate if anyone could enlighten me!Whenever I do a complete autoland and have come to a stop on the runway, I have problems getting the plane to taxy. Only when applying full thrust does it move (very slowly) and I very much doubt that is the correct way to do it! :)I have AP disengaged including AT, no flaps, no brakes, no autobrakes, and can't find any indication of being in any special "phase". I faintly remember something about having to exit AT mode by switching to something else, but as always, my memory cells are very dim! Ayudame!!!/KristerEFMA

The views are only configured for the cockpit. Hello thereJust a little note to sing the praise of PMDG!I acquired the NG737 program some months ago, but I just could not manage to fly the aircraft, so I put it aside! A couple of weeks ago when the new version was published I battled with the download, as did everybody else! But once this was accomplished I decided that I simply had to learn to use that program! The first help in this endeavor came from the most excellent 737 NG Tutorial v.2 produced by Fred Clausen. This young man certainly produced first class work with his tutorial, and this together with the PMDG manuals pointed me in the right direction. My main problem was how to produce flight plans and ho…
