I would like to point out, because the problem has been raised on such a basis, that this weirdiness is not only sensed at FULL rudder deflection!The problem has it's effects too at low/moderate rudder deflections, like those we use when uncrabing on the final stages of a crosswind landing. Under such circumstances it results on the already mentioned sideslip towards upwind when one aligns with the rw centerline.This sort of things may basically have two sources:- Wrong definition of stability derivates;- Values being writen by via FSUIPC at wrong offsets.I am sure PMDG will soon find a fix!The following is a quote from Ron Freimuth's answer to my questions regarding this…

Hi all,first of all: What a wonderful plane !But I need some help with a small bug:when flying in 2D panel mode, the cockpit sounds more than funny.In 3 D and all other modes it is o.k., but in 2 D there is a very loud sound (clicking). Fred, referencing your T/O procedures you indicate that at 1000' AGL engage autopilot; then at 2500' AGL engage autopilot Cmd A. Isn't Cmd A already engaged after 1000' AGL? Maybe I'm missing something.Warmly,John R. FranklinVictorville, CA

However, since upgrading the FMC database and the SID/STAR files to 313, I have noticed that when departing and arriving into Toronto Pearson International Airport (CYYZ), some runways have been missing from the FMC(24R, 24L, 6R, 33L, 15R, 15L). When I checked the 'wpNavAPT.txt' file, the database included all of these missing runways. Hey PMDG/737 guru's,Here's a FD question for you. When flying an ILS, are the cue's not steering cues for the localizer/glideslope? If CWS was enabled would the FD cues behave differently?I decided to set myself some really nasty IFR and try a hand flown approach into KSLC 34R (CRS: 341). Nothing in the FMC. Just manually dialed in the ILS, took off, and shot an approach. Nothing overly clever.I circled to the east of the field, putting the localizer to the left of me on interception. As many of you may know me in the past, I get rather excited sometimes. And I can get aggravated and frustrate people too. I really have not been vocal over the last 2 years on any forms because I am just too darn busy at home or at work where I am on the road flying many days a month. However, since purchasing the NG, I have had some trouble with conflicts with what I thought was fsuipc and pfc.dll. If, after selection of sid / stars / approaches and transitions, part of the route becomes FIX xxx HDG nnn VECTORS FIX xxxsuch as FIX MENLO HDG 330 VECTORS FIX MENLOthis will result in a lockup situation.The above route is ill-formed and results from procedures generation from dadif data. All the same... Don't be angry with beta testers, this is due to a last minute mod intented to prevent lockups in another part of the code. Hello Everyone,and Happy new year.Can someone please give me a hand in installing the 737TNG Flight Tutorial,I have unziped it into my Win-98SE unzip folder but I can't read the Flight Tutorial readme file when I click on it and it opens up I get a whole lot of mambo jumbo and it's unreadble.The other readme file that comes with it I can read ok,in there it say's to put the 2 klax.txt and kden.txt into my fs2004/PMDG/SIDSTARS folder,and then it say's make sure it doe's not over write existing versions.But when I do that the computer ask if I want to replace those files that are already there,and if I click no it doesn't install the files.So how Iam supose to install them …

There is a sizeable number of excellent liveries on offer already on the download page and you ought to be thanked for having drastically improved the easyness of installing the same, compared to the old system, this is a 100% improvement.You will probably never totally satisfy everyone's request for new liveries, but let me try my luck in asking you whether you could add to the new set the excellent SAS livery you previously had. Hello, I Have a few questions for the people at PMDG or whoever can answer them. - Will TCAS or real Weather Radar ever be modeled in the 737 or any other PMDG project for that matter, as I remember I think both of those were modeled on the Fly! 2 757.- How do I get the vertical profile thing to show up on my navigation screen?- How come I cannot ever get the FMC to transition into DES mode? My apologies if this issue has already been addressed. I received the SU2 download way back when in middle December and had a problem with it. I haven't really had the time to act on it until today. Everything downloads properly but when I go to extract the file it says "The compressed (zipped) folder is invalid or corrupted". When I just try and run it out of zip, nothing happens I just get a permanent hour glass. Am I doing something wrong or did I just get a bad file? If so can someone send me the proper one? Hi Guys and GalsYes PMDG great, Yes we are not worthy, Yes is this the greatest addiction ever yadda yadda yadda :-) Anyway, What I was wanting was a realstic point of view from the cockpit for defaul and for landing.In the wonderful world of simming - we are all the same height! (unless you got an external projecta set up)So could someone provide realistic zoom and seat hieghts for the PMDG737 for default and landing?Alternatively photos on approach/ or parked up at at stand that exists in FS9 from the POV of a 6ft 4" handsome pilot with a good sense of humour would do.........for me to use as a benchmark!!Steve

Hey all, I was just wondering if I made a decision in buying the ATI Radeon 9600 XT. I noticed right away how clear and crisp FS2004 was and how much smoother the 737 ran, it still gets a little stutter on takeoffs and stuff, however I want to know if there are other video cards within that $200-$250 price range that are better than the 9600XT because if there are I can always take it back and get whatever may be better. I run FS2004 at 1280x1204 res. with everything on high except lighting and mip levels. I have a Pentium 4 2.8 ghz with a gig of DDR ram.Jeff Smith USAF

When I change view (different cockpit views, or swithcing between spot plane, virtual cockpit, 2-d cockpit etc.) in my 737NG the textures sometimes gets very blurry. This only happens when using the 737. Is anyone else having issues with the course indicator drifting away from the course route?I tried using FS Flightplan an FSnavigator, but both have the exact same results..I'm currently using the latest sids/stars for PMDG,FSNAV, Radar Contact 3.xx but no fix...The previous version SU1 worked fine, but I have not been able to get this to work with SU2...I'm familiar with the FMC programming, but no matter what I do, I cannot get the aircraft to stay on the magenta route. High there! Help!I have had this twice in just as many flights recently: Upon reaching cruise, and 100 ft below, I get "Unable crz alt". This does not make sense to me. It is a normal flight; cruise is set to only FL200 (I find higher altitudes hard to reach (much fuel in tanks) in "short" flights around 200nm)
