Hi all, I have the dap5.3 and just on 5 of january bought your 737NG But since then can not download the last part of the whole archive which it is 16.76 mb COULD YOU PLEASE what is going wrong with that nad how can overcome it? Harry Greece

I've got the PMDG bird. Fantastic.But a friend of mines' ISP won't sustain large downloads. Dial up and all. Any chance for a boxed version, or how can he get his hands on a copy of this great bird. LOL, the chief pilot for our VA really should have his hands on this one!Thanks,

I just downloaded the paint kit for the 737 but don't know how or where to begin, or how to create the aircraft when finished. I couldn't find any instructions with the download. Is there any documentation or tutorial available? Thanks. Tom

Just installed the 737 today and find the auto throttle switch goesup then down and will not function. I have the ap on with all settingsI have the FMC set also.. where is the toga switch as well Thanks

HiI recently reinstalled FS9 and the PMDG737 SU2, I have tried a couple of flights tonight and the Autopilot will not engage.I take off as usual and once I get to approx 1000' AGL I press the AP button.All that happens is the button flashes the AP off alarm sounds and the AP FIRST annunciator lights.Can anyone explain what I am doing wrong.I followed the Tim Metzinger tutorial to check and the same thing happens, I did not have this problem with SU1 or SU2 before I reinstalled.ThanksTerryThanksTerry

Hiyaaa!!!!Don't know if somebody already talked about this in the forum...During a rejected take with autobrakes sel in "RTO"...the system doesn't apply brakes...had to apply these myself...Also...regardin' APP mode... I noticed that you can make dual channel approaches with only one generator...and even with only one engine runnin'...Correct me if I'm wrong but I thought it ain't supposed to be like that...Also, also...my speedbrakes indicator always indicates "speedbrakes armed" regardless of the position (extended or armed)...lights all off when speedbrakes/spoilers down...Hope somebody will answer my questions this time...Essono Fritz

Hi All,I'm using AS2004 with the 737 PMDG, and have no complaints, but one question, I'm getting wake turbulence when landing every once in a while, the autopilot disengage and I have to land the plane manually. Is there any standar procedure for this? Sorry for the ingorance....or any links where I can read about this?Thansk for helpingAbraham

Is it possible to somehow modify or extend Arc curves joining two points abeam each other?Look at the screen shot. I'm coming down the Handa 9 RNAV arrival to Calgary. GABOL is on the approach course. It connects to MESKA.Trouble is, the Arc does not overfly GABOL but rather angles in before it. As a result, it's easy to find yourself joining the localizer from above the glideslope, so you have to chase the glideslope.Is there a way to modify this?Thanks, Bryanhttp://forums.avsim.net/user_files/57111.jpg

Is this possible to be inputed directly via the FMC instead of a manual edit of the STAR or SID file in itself. Basically these are the waypoints that show up in the legs page in () such as 090 trk (500)Theyre tracking waypoints of a heading with an altitude restriction.

Just curious, has anyone worked out the settings in the Panel.cfg to have an over the wing view ? I like the default view ok looking back towards the Engine / Wing, but would prefer to have one right over the wing to see the flaps and spoilers. Hello:After installing the new PMDG 737 update on FS2002, the program crashes when I exit FS2002. It reports errors on PMDG 737GAU and other PMDG files. It never did it with previous versions. The good news is that the program when in use, works great and I can complete flights etc... When I exit FS2002 when using other planes, the crash does not occur. Any ideas. This does not really interfere with using the 737 or FS2002, but it is a little concerning. I used the uninstall tool and followed directions when I installed the new 737 version. when selecting PMDG 737 from the aircraft menu, the NG is the only aircraft that has the rudder deflected full left while still in the aircraft menu? Once loaded I noticed that the rudder is in its correct position.So my question... why is it full left only in the menu..?Thanks for solving this long time question...

Hi all,Using the load edit utility for the 737-700, I have the message "error saving station loads" while the numbers are correcly included in the aircraft.cfg fileI have lot this message for the -600 version,I edited the aircraft file a number of times since I added many repaints but the file seems correct...Does anyone has a clue?Cheers,

Hi guys,I have noticed that the 2,500 feet altitude call out is not always given. Now, I know there are some problems if you make a second flight in the same aircraft, but this even happens when I start up FS from scratch. Oddly enough, sometimes I do get it, but it seems most times it's not there. The 1,000 feet and lower call outs never fail, so this seems to be a particular problem with this call out.Since it is the first call out to occur on descent, could it be that there are circumstances when it is "armed" to late? For instance when there is a large difference between baro and radio altitude? I'm only speculating here.Has anyone had this same thing happen?Leo Bakke…

Hi Folks!Yesterday I tried to install the new Lufthansa Livery for the 737-700. But it was not possible, because an error message was send by the install program (failure while unstuffing).A new download of the livery didn't help to make the installation succesful. First, may I say that I am not posting to bash the PMDG 737. It is an excellent product with an obvious attention to detail and realism. Once you purchase and fly this aircraft, it is difficult to return to inferior models.But, I am frustrated. I am not a real 737 pilot, and therefore my ability, interest, and time to totally learn the ins and outs of this aircraft are just not there. Again, I tried a flight from KCLT to KORF last night. I used FS downloaded weather - not FS Meteo or AS 2004, both of which I own. I did not use this weather since I am aware there is an apparent issue between the weather generator and the PMDG 737, specifically on final approach. Wel…

Hiya,well as I have said in previous posts, what a fantastic product! I cannot think of anything that needs really working on! Apart from the lighting, that is. The lighting is a bit disapointing, I feel. At the moment, during day its fine, obviously. At dawn and dusk however, even with the light switch in the 'on' position, the lights do not come on, yet it is still too dark to see either in the cabin, or in the cockpit. As your VC is so great, that is were I spend all my time because it is so much more realistic, yet I cannot see. Also, only the 'red' light is featured.In the next product releases is it possible to feature three stages of lighting like dreamfleet has? I…

Lets say I Install an SU2 Livery Manually, Will this effect the Installers ability to Detect Installed Liveries?For example, I know that if I install 10 with the Installers, they will all be fine, but lets say that Install #5 was done Manually, when I use an Installer for #6, will it interfere at all with 5??Thanks.

I've been manually landing all my aircraft for months now, and never even tried the NG's autoland, let alone LOC capture. My question is, how can I get on the centerline and stay there? It always seems as though I drift left or right and constantly have to adjust, therefore always landing on either side of center, even without wind. I know some will say practice, but I need to know if there's a secret to staying center. Everything else about my landing and approach is near perfect. Do real pilots in heavies have to adjust often during final or is this just me? I always feel as though the plane is banking when I'm on final and adjust my center, however, real heavies …
