HiI have a question, how to use the electric hydraulic pumps in the 737NG.Are they on for takeoff and landing or only in case of an engine driven pump failure?Regards:

I am having trouble printing the pdf's. They come out very light in color, almost like I am running low on black ink. I put in a brand new ink today and still get the same thing. Any suggestions on printing the manuals? I use a Canon BJC-4000 Bubble Jet Printer. BRad Zimmer

I just downloaded the FEDEX and SWA Winglets.The virtual cockpits both has gauges missing. The background guages locations are transparent, that its, you can see the ramp on the ground.The aircraft is super except for the virtual cockpit.I downloaded them twice and got the same problem.Any one else?Bill Taylor

Hello everyoneSometime ago I wrote a post asking about a background noisethat is always present in the 2d cockpit mode which soundslike a fan and which I have identified as being sound file:PMDG_electrics.wav - Have tried all the knobs and switches I can think off to see if there is a way of switchingthis sound off or of lowering the volume, but have not beensuccessful.The reason for wanting to lower the volume or switch it off completely is that when flyin on line and talking to ATC itcan become a bit distracting or a bit of a problem whencomms are not that great. Hi all,I installed one of the Delta liveries from the old 1.1 user-contributed livery list, and copied the four necessary files from the 1.2 default livery into the dir, and it loads fine, but there are some glitches.First, the wings are not textured at all, just flat gray.Second, the tail is semi-transparent. It's very odd ... but when I'm in spot plane view, I can see stuff THROUGH the tail, especially lights, but not just lights.Anyone know what's up? Did I somehow screw up copying those four files?

Lately I have been having trouble with my manual landings. Im not sure if it is a bug in the NG or if is because of pilot error. Everytime I disconnect AP on final, the bird wants to go right. I have posted about this, but have not gotten any response to why this could be. Any ideas yet? Anyway, I manually fly down from about 18000 using FD. I turn to intercept localizer when it is alive with flaps 5 and speed 180. I make small corrections with the controls to keep her on the localizer. Yet no matter how small I try to keep the corrections, i find it very hard to keep it on the localizer. I use aielerons and rudder to try to keep it stable, but by the time I am a…

In one of the threads related to my fuel planner utility, someone mentioned that most airlines have a standard procedure to load 1000 pounds of fuel in the center tank at all times. I'm wondering if anyone can verify that, and if that's more than just an airline SOP, like if it's recommended by Boeing. I would like to modify my fuel planner utility accordingly.(BTW, I know of the separate requirement that you need to have the wing tanks full if you have 1000 pounds or more of fuel in the center tank.)Any input would be appreciated!

Hello... who can tell me how I can change my PMDG B737 views?I can only see my cockpit, virt. cockpit and outside views. I can't see my wings from my cockpit for example. Even though I use all my SHIFT or CTRL + 1, 2, 3(and so on) commands. Secondly I know this PMDG set brings brand new views from inside the plane (cabine). How can I this new views???Thanx,Anthony

Hello all,Has anybody got the Goflight RP48 radial dial working with the autobrake function with the NG su2 ?If the have can they help me out ?I have assigned the standard keys in FS and the PMDG key assignments so they are the same but had no luck,pity that Goflight dosent let you assign key strokes for the radial dials :-(TIA Toni P.

Dear All,I have searched this forum and the tips forum and cannot find any information on using dual monitors with FS9, maybe I am not using the correct combination of wording or something ??Anyrate - I have just received a second monitor and Graphics card (Geforce MX400 AGP) from a friend, and was wondering what software etc. I would require in order to link this with FS9 and have say the FMS and radio stack showing on the 2nd monitor? and what I need to do in order to get this to work ?I also fly online frequently and it would be handy to have SB on a separate monitor too (If this is possible) ?using FS9 and PMDG 737Appreciate your comments !!Kind RegardsPHIL

I've decided to fly the PMDG 737 on an around the world flight. I started in Eastern Canada a couple of days ago and I'm in Greenland now. I'm really excited about this, trying out the NG in every possible condition, from the freezing temperatures of Canada and Greenland to the hot gooey of Middle East, Australia and South America. From the beautiful weather of the Mediteranean to the soupy weather often found in England. I'll post a copy of my flight plan at the bottom of the post, but it is subject to change as I will probably add more destinations and more countries to it. Please forgive me if this has been brought up before...When using the Load Utility I have noticed that it gives all stations the same position, i.e. -48.350Does the sim accurately translate the W&B data as regards to flight configuration? If so, then surely the aircraft would be somewhat unbalanced with this set of numbers.station_load.0=1080.0, -48.350, 0.000, 1.050station_load.1=20160.0, -48.350, 0.000, 1.050station_load.2=4026.0, -48.350, 0.000, 1.050station_load.3=8250.0, -48.350, 0.000, 1.050With this in mind, could somebody explain to me how FS reads the W&B data, as the Forward and Aft limits as stated seem to bear no resemblance to the Empty CG :empty_weig…

Beta 4 is available now, which fixes a bug which caused an error similar to "Incorrect FS version" when trying to load fuel or read payload data via FSUIPC.Grab it here:http://www.metacraft.com/737NGFP/I'm currently working on having the center fuel tank always have the minimum required fuel.

i just recently got my download to work...first off i would like to complement on the amazing detail and effort i see that has been put into this plane..WOW...ok now the problem:i have installed the plane fully and when i start the game, i will be able to fly with this bird for about 5-30 minutes before i get an error message that quits out of FS9 or sometimes, shut my computer down completely. has anyone had this problem in the past?thanks in advancedavid

Thanks Pete.I have deleted and re-installed two aircraft winglets. They loaded correctly this time.While I was offline due to a local cable cut, I also reloaded FS9 and Windows XP. An annual clean out was due anyway.Thanks again for the assist,Bill Taylor

I am writing to inform you of a problem with the recently released textures for the Southwest Spirit Winglets colors. The inside of the winglets are not painted grey, they are actually painted in the same way as the outside of the winglets. The paint scheme on the classic colors winglets are correct, but not the spirit. There is only one Spirit bird with grey inside winglets and that is N444WN. This is due to a picture that was placed on each inside winglet of this aircraft that was of a person from The Texas Monthly that convinced Herb Kelleher to install winglets on the 700's and if he did he wanted his picture on one of these planes. That happened for one month and now…

I need some advice. I've had the 737 up "trying her out" and all has gone pretty well so far after trying to tweak out a few more fps. The problem is, even after following the checklists in the manual, I must be still doing something wrong or overlooking something, because I still have yellow warning messages on the panel warning screen (FLT CONT, ELEC, ANTI ICE, FUEL, OVERHEAD, HYD) and an occasional warning buzzer while in the air. I tried taking care of all points of the checklist, but must be overlooking something. Shouldn't the warning panel be clear before takeoff? The manual seems thorough and well written, but is there any other tutorial type documentation availab…
