I sure hope and pray a great painter out there reads this and puts out a Eastern Airlines 'Hockey Stick" Livery for the great PMDG 737. Not just for us Eastern Virtual Pilot's, but to pay tribute to an airline that served it's customers with pride and was in existance for nearly 70 years!

Hi everyone, When I try to download I click the link the download starts. However, after a varying amount of time 10-30 seconds the download freezes. I am not able to resume, nothing happens. Am I doing something wrong?Thanks for any helpAkke

Hi all, maybe it is not the right forum to post this issue, but I have tried also in other forums and so far I am still fighting with this problem.Has anybody experienced fs9.cfg file corruption ? Sometimes, during a flight, I suddenly find my keyboard not responding to basic commands such as ESC to call for the flight interruption or Shift +Enter for adjusting the seat height.... When this happens I go and see the fs9.cfg file and find that its size has become smaller than its normal size (generally 8 Kb rather than the normal 11 Kb). So I guess some lines in the cfg files have gone lost and this is the reason the keyboard does not respond. Quit FS9, delete the cfg file …

Hi all,I just bought the PMDG 737-600/700 NG series like 5 days ago.Well today i formatted my harddrive for a nice clean slate ( Needed it anyways, hadnt reformatted in like 8 months )I was just wondering where do i go to redownload the PMDG 737NG series?I cant find it anywhere on the site so im just asking.I have all my original purchase information and such sort, etc.Please help..thanks!

Hi all.I'm getting introduced to this nice and amazing product with the help of the Advanced Operations Manual by Timothy Metzinger, but while working with the FMC, specifically with the DEPARTURE page, I cant find any of the SID's mentioned there (neither STAR's!).I'm following the document mentioned before (KSTL to KCLT), but without luck since that information on my FMC is missing. I have the current navdata (AIRAC-0313) in my "FlightSimulatorFMCWPNavdata" folder and have the SID/STARS (DAFIF Cycle 0313) in my "FlightSimulatorPMDGSIDSTARS" folder. Hi!I'm trying to paint "my own 737" and it going on nicely, but there are a few questions. Maybe the "pro's" here can help?- I'm using Paintshop Pro 5 Limited Edition. It seems this program can not modify alpha channels, so I have to do this with DXTBmp. Is a newer Version of PS-Pro able to to modify alpha directly? Hey Guys,Just wondering if anyobdy has attempted to undock the FMC/CDU display for building thier own CDU/FMC. I just need to use the display portion of the FMC so I can move it over to a 5" B&W I just bought. Hi folks,I was reading through the FMS manual and I noticed that ACARS functionality is planned for future release. I was wondering if this is still planned as of now and if yes what sort of features could we get from the ACARS? I found the cause of my difficulty with my landings. At localizer (VOR LOC)intercept I am 210 speed reducing to 180 via A/T. Now at capture i am 180 and flap 5. At glideslope alive I go to flap 15 speed, +5 and gear down. When that is captured, I disconnect AP and go landing flaps and vref +5. I am in full control of the plane, and it seems to be handling beautifully. I decide to make small turn corrections to see if I can get it back to stabilized. No problem there as I am able to do a heading change, and get her back lined up. Here is where the problem comes in. When I disconnect AT to manually control thrust. First of all, I have to say that the PMDG 737 is by far the most accurate add-on there has ever been! As a trainee 737-400 first officer I found it extremely useful and practiced a LOT with it. However, the new version has a problem: When descending with VNAV engaged, it will not maintain the preselected speed (while being very accurate at the descent path profile), and it will fly 15-35 kts below the desired speed. Anyone knows why or how to fix that??!?

Am I wrong in thinking that the speed brakes don't seem to do anything below flight detent? I've used them a few times on a rather slow descent (100-1500 fpm), however, the plane doesn't slow down at all unless I pass flight detent? This can't be right?Chris

Hi,If I program the FMC with departure LFPG and destination LSZH, and then go to DEP/ARR and then ARR, I only get to choose between ILSII14, DILS14 and runway 14.LSZH has 3 runways : ILS 14, ILS 16 and RWY 10 (and their opposite of course).Q1 : why don't I have the choices for all the runways? NOTE : PSS does correctly shows 10, ILS 14 and ILS 16.Q2 : what are ILSII14 and DILS14 ? Well, I saw they were marked as approaches, but that is different from a STAR, so what does that mean exactly? This is of course on SU2 with AIRAC 0313.Thanks.Eric.

I had removed the older SU1 version with the removal tool here, then installed the downloaded SU2 file (which is excellent).While still using the SU1 version, I had downloaded and installed a Frontier livery and manually edited the aircraft.cfg. Now with SU2, I still get the option of the "Frontier" model although that had all been removed with the removal tool. The current (SU2) aircraft.cfg has no references to the old Frontier model. When the rotating Frontier aircraft appears in the FS9 menu screen it has no textures (actually it doesn't even rotate). What can be going on here? I noticed the keyboard and CH Yoke buttons for trim disengage my Autopilot. Should this be happening? And if not, how can i fix it? Nothing is mapped for that to happen, as "Z" is the only button that should be disengaging the AP. Thanks, Brad Zimmer

Hi PMDG!I've tried a long time now to get to a comfortable level of understunding of this great and very complex aircraft.Howhever there are things that are very hard to understand especially when they not working in a logic way(for me:-)).Example of problems:1. What is the minimum settings needed to get the FD needles to work with ILS? Logically in my point of a view you should just need to have the radio set and the app button pushed (and of course also the FD-button). Otherwise this must be a very dangerus thing in real life because if you look at the other display (not in map-mode but in ILS-mode) it function perfectly. So how do now wich "gauge" to trust? Hey guys (PMDG Development Team et all)I was tooling around in my NG yesterday, and it hit me that the panel is awfully purple (or periwinkle as the girlfriend used to say), and from all the pics I see.. it varies from black to almost perfect silver depending on the sun condition.So I decided to fire up ol Photoshop and see if I can't darken it a little, and well .. the gauges that move have large circles of the old colors that made such a simple change impossible.
