Hi guys,When I'm flying online, the ATC gives me a QNH for landing. When I press the 'B' to set this QNH, it is always two degrees different. Example when I get 1020 from ATC, after pressing the 'B' it shows 1018.Because of this problem I'm always a bit too high or too low on the ILS. If I want to set the QNH manual, the only thing that changes are the other 4-digits (don't now for sure, but thought it was HG, standard 2992). No matter how far I turn the knob left in the panel, if the QNH is set on 1018 it stays there only the other 4 digits change.How come??Regards,Steven van Leeuwen

Hello, I'm new to this forum and this is my first post asking for advice. First, I've made a search through the forum but so far I've been unable to find any information to solve my problem.I have an annoying issue with the CDU: all the text, and the 'bold' text in particular, is too large in size. Sometimes left and right lines get superimposed one over the other, making the text really difficult to read.I'm running FS9 on a 19inch. display, with screen resolution 1280x1024, with FS9 res also set to 1280x1024, and this problem does not happen in any other aircraft panel, except the PMDG737NG CDU.Any ideas on how may I solve this issue?Thanks.Mike.

Heya!I get the chance flying the 737/800 bird few times a week.When i compare the performance on rwy during takeoff i miss someof the real life aggressivity, especially when ur performing a short rwy takeoff or heavy or takeoff when rwy is some kind of slippery (snow, rain). The acceleration when u release the breaks is enourmous in reallife.I know u cant feel forces that way yet....but neway =)The sounds r more sharp in RL aswell. The fast wha-wha-wha ;-) i mean. especially when using loads of throttle.also, is it possible to add the "auto pitch" during landing? nose goes up few degres just before landing.Happy landings evry1

I've played around with the 737 (all SUs) and had tons of great fun, but I have one problem that I've read up on and can't find a good answer to.What to set the MCP altitude to during approach. Usually I will do most of the flight with both VNAV/LNAV and when I engange APP mode around 3-4000ft up and forget to set the MCP ALT to something at or below runway altitude it will pop out of APP mode and level off, even after having fully captured the localizer and glide slope.Any pointers to what stupidity I'm up to? :)

Hi all,Just a quick question on the 737 600 and 700. I have this product and I am not really intersted in buying the 800 or 900, but I was wondering when the 8 and 900 come out, will the 6 and 700 recieve a free update to include TCAS and IRS etc? Or has the development now finished for the 6 and 7?CheersRichard

The PMDG Boeings are nothing short of sensational! I'm addicted to them. The only thing we need is TCAS, since I do have a lot of AI. I could purchase the stand alone TCAS by Ariane and add it as a pop up window, however, I'm just wondering if PMDG has their own TCAS just around the corner.Lee

Ok guys and gals,Here is the low down on 1.3 from my perspective. I have a two pc rig , Fs9 running on a 2g P4 with a GeForce3 64mb Ti500 , all other apps running on a P3 750 via wide FS. The PMDG has been running fine apart from crazy rudder inputs.1.3 installed.Flight from Egll to Eddf all started well in the 737 - 700 2d cockpit - baw landor .Brakes - get a lound low beep/noise on braking - too loud and never had that before.Takeoff (was rather good if i say so myself :-) )Cruise - On switching between the M and Z panels , on going back to the Main view the displays were frozen. Hello,737 NG 1.2Now whenever I use the throttle (either my MS Joystick slider or the F3/F4 key and such) only the port engine responds. The mouse can still be used, although that is impractical.Thanks for any ideas.Scott M.

You know what would be really cool? TCAS that works in Multiplayer games!I fly online alot with my brother and friends. FS2004 only displays the other playes if there within 12nm of you. Anychance the TCAS will work for multiplayer games?Thanks for a wonderful aircraft PMDG!Pete

I have never bothered to post this because it's not that big a deal, but has anyone else experienced the throttle lever moving up and down erratically while autothrottle is engaged? Is there something that can be done about this? Doesn't seem realistic.Thanks,Steve

Can someone tell me why some aircraft appear very blurry on the screen. It's only the outside. An example for me is the Hapag Loyd TUI version and Air Europe. Other versions look perfect.They even look blurry in the "choose aircraft" menu.

Hey folks!It's probably been posted before or written in a doc.but i could not find any info on the doors on the 737 model.I can open the airstars and the front door but is itpossible to opden cargo doors?and on some models both lefthand side doors on the aircraftopen up! how can you make only the one in front open up?thanks for helping out!!keep up the good work PMDG! :)

I'm having a problem with my throttle (TM Cougar) in that I cannot set idle power. I get anything from 1.12 FF to over 4.0 FF (!?).This is only happening in the PMDG 737 I checked the joystick/throttle and the axis goes down to the zero stop fine in the analyzer. This just started to happen a few weeks ago.TIA,Tim

Hi. I was hoping that someone could check to see if vor/loc can capture runway 24L at KCLE. I just fly right by it! I'm doing a flight from KCVG to KCLE, using the TVT transition to the KEATN2 arrival to the DILS24L approach to 24L. Everything goes great, but when I'm a few miles from the runway extension line, I hit vor/loc on the AP (coming from LNAV/VNAV. I'm at about 2000 ft. FMC is fully loaded w/my arrival/runway plans. Both nav radios were tuned to 109.9 and 238 entered in to the course window on the MCP. I'm wondering if I just have a navaid error (fmcwp or sid/star, don't know which) or if I'm using the AP incorrectly. I just right by the localizer! Tha…

1st: I love the 737NG. But was wondering if there was a way to increase the lighting in the VC cockpit. Even during daylight hours with the sun to your back the vc is almost black. Turning the cockpit lights on don't help. If I change the gamma, then everything else is overexposed for the lack of a better term.Also, are there plans to incorporate via SP or next version functional overhead switches? Kind of defeats the purpose of the VC if you have to keep going back and forth the 2D to use them.ThanksBill

Hi guys, I remember having read about this some time ago. Sometimes, when I load a PMDG aircraft FS9 would simply disappear and terminate FS9.exe. I don't have any idea why this happens but it in fact does only happen with the 737. Any thoughts on this?

Hi everyone, enjoying the 737 just as much as I am? Beside the dum question I do need clarification regarding this error message(efis mode/nav freq disagree)I get everytime I swicth to the app mode on the main panel.I have set the ils frequency for the runway before intercept..of course but I always get the message when I swicth to monitor glideslope capture and localizer intercept.Am I doing something wrong?If not is there a walkaround for this problem?Ciao guys,David

A friend of mine has decided that he isn't really cut out to flying a 737 and has offered to sell me his license and the software required to use your 737NG What I would like to know is if he is able to transfer the stuff to me and if I wll have any problems installing them. IE i remember using a demo version of your aircraft and it had a system specific license if i'm not wrong. I just want to make sure all the boxes are checked before I go ahead and buy it.Jarrad
