Hi,I like to use FSNavigator and FSBuild for planning and exporting plans to Radar Contact. The actual route/plan is than put in the FMC manualy. I found out that the STAR's used in both flightplanners are different from those used in the FMC. It seemt to me that the FMC uses more realistic STAR's with transitions, etc. How come those STAR's are so different as they are taken from the same cicle?I have no problems using the plans in Radar Contacs as I like to fly published Departure Procedures and IAP Approaches, so that keeps RC off my back. But, as most people here, I would like to fly and plan as they do in the real world...Thanks,Rudi Langezaal

We are planning to make a big groupflight of all the proud PMDG-owners for the SAG-Area (Switzerland-Austria-Germany) in the VATSIM-Network.The Flight will take place on Saturday, 31th of January and consist of 2 legs from/to the three capital citys:LOWW - Vienna/Austria -> LSZH - Zurich/Switzerland -> EDDB -Berlin(Schoenefeld)/Germany ##departure at LOWW is 1900 Zulu.Everyone is invited to join and maybe some other countrys will make their own PMDG-Groupflight from/to their capital city.Lets get the sky full of PMDGs! -> 31.01.2004 -> its PMDG-Day!

The PMDG 737 seems far more sensitive to any increate in the simulation rate over 1x than any other aircraft I have used.When I go to 2x, the autothrottles start acting weird, often times starting to move opposite of what they should be doing. For example, if I am faster than my MCD speed, at 1x the throttles will start being pulled back. If I bump the sim rate up to 2x, the throttles often reverse this trend and actuall start increasing. Back down to 1x, and they reverse again towards the proper direction.The heading and altitude also diverge from what is selected until I go back to 1x, when they start to recover.Is this simply because of the large number of computati…

I know this has been brought up before, but I sure can't figure out what's going on. Adjusting trim will move the stabilizers just a small amount then it resets immediately to level. Does same exact thing whether I use keyboard or CH Yoke (made sure to delete the Yolk assignment when testing with keyboard).Works fine with default aircraft. And works a little better if I switch to default aircraft then switch back to PMDG. When I do that the movement is jerky, but at least it will hold the trim position. But if I load FS directly to PMDG 737, doesn't seem to work at all.Any ideas?Matt

Dear all,Having had the 737NG for a couple of weeks I am now ready to go online. However I want to start without the engines on. I know there is a start up situation but my seems corrupt, 1 engine is on! I have turned all of the switches to off but still the engine runs! This is the same at the end of a flight. All switches off but engines still ON. The only way that I can turn off the engines is to pull, then reset the fire handles. However, this causes the ringing alarm to go off and I cant stop this either. I have clicked all the master and fire resets.Once I can get it cold and dark then I can save the situation again.Any help would be appreciated. Clowesy

Hello Captains,I have tried searching for a resolution to this before posting, but have not found any - so if it is due to my "habits" please enlighten me.On approach to various default scenery airports in FS9 (this is OOMS - Muscat, but it happened for HTDA and HTKJ too), for some reason the plane never really aligns itself perfectly on approach. This approach example began 25nm out, and stayed to the left of the runway as shown here all the way in. It DOES NOT happen on all approaches it must be said, but if anyone has a solution I would love to hear it.I have tried ensuring speed is correct and I always intercept the ILS at approach speed as defined by the FMC and just…

Have been working my way through the second tutorial by Fred Clausen and have encountered two problems. Under the heading "Flight Deck Preparation" the instruction is to:-Ensure that the ENGINE VALVE CLOSED lights are illuminated -Ensure that the SPAR VAVLE CLOSED lights are illuminated-FILTER BYPASS lights are extinguishedThe engine and spar valve lights are not illuminated. Does this matter? Does not seem to affect anything. Can I control them and if so how?Second problem: In my first attempt at the flight, I ended up WAY to high and unable to cross PAPPI at 5000ft. Anyone else have the same problem. WIll work my way through it again and see if I made a mistake!!…

I got 737NG last weekend and I am enjoying this challenging new aircraft. However I have a few questions if anyone can offer some advice I would greatly appreciate it.1. When I take off using the FCM, TO/GA, Auto Throttle, and Flight Director armed I get this really aweful beeping sound when the engines spool up to about 25% thrust. I have the flaps set to the takeoff config in the FMC, parking brakes are off, Auto Brake is set to RTO. I don't get any master caution light, but the beeping continues until the plane has left the ground. I don't get this when I am not using the FMC, however sometimes when I taxi if I push the throttle a little to far forward the beeping star…

Is this bug fix:- Corrects a bug that caused a crash if the user pressed FLY NOW before the navdata had been initialized.The fix for the pmdgoptions.dll crash that occurs sometimes when using Select Aircraft to switch to (or change to a different) 737? Or something else?Jason Barlow

I have found that the PMDG 737-600/700 aircraft really sucks my system resources dry. When I use their aircraft, my frame rates really drop especially with AI aircraft and clouds. Has someone found a way to utilize their excellent panel with more frame rate friendly 737 aircraft similar to PIC 767. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

Hi,does anybody know what's wrong with the KBOS SID/STAR file? It always says err at 3 line 101 if I am right, but I don't find an error in this line. Does anyone have a working file for me? I also searched at navdata.at but the only American file that is currently uploaded there, is KSAN. Thanks in advance!

Goodmorning,Lets say that we are doing a flight from LGAV to LGKV FMC fully programed up to the landing rnw at destination airport, no go around procedure after the rnw so rn05 for example is the last point in the FMC legs page.Arriving at the airport the weather is getting worse, aiport is closed but you are giving one shot just in case. No luck ok Passing the threshold at 500ft on the missed app the FMC scratchpad you have ROUTE END. My key assignments seem messed up. I mapped CTL-F9 and CTL-F10 to retract/extend the air stairs. I tried hitting the CTL key to unstick it as I've read but that doesn't help either. I can extend them but can't retract them. I tried mapping them to SHF-F9 and SHF-F10 and a few other keys but nogo. I also can't get the cargo doors to open with any key map, i.e. Shift+E+2 or 3 or 4 or anyting else, the main door opens/closes with all the above.I checked my FS9.cfg but can't find anyting wrong. Could my FS9.cfg be corrupt? If so how can correct it.Any ideas would be helpful.ThanksBill
