when I go to enter coordinates into a FMC (example: my flight from NCRG-NZAA). I use the FSbuild 1.4 and it says like ncrg-wp1 through wpt5-aklom-xedes-bolod-nzaa.now you can't put wpt1 in there, so I tried it's coordinates, which were S23:22:27 W162:30:16. I put it in as S2322.3W16230.2, and it says the "NOT IN DATABASE". I put this in in the RTE screen, am I doing something wrong?

I have been flying the PMDG for a month now and am very pleased, just like to say Great Update (SU3). After flying this wonderful bird, i have been constantly wondering how do i access the Virtual Cabin? i know that when you go to Virtual Cockpit and use CTRL SHIFT and ENTER AND BACKSPACE in different combonations, i can move thorugh the door and into the Virtual Cabin. but i have seen screenshots of people in differnt areas of the Virtual Cabin, not just to what is limited by the Virtual Cockpit. How do i access this?-Daniel

HelloI have two monitors om my NVIDIA GF4 Ti4600. Latest drivers. After using menuitems following the "alt" key, (4 example fsuipc, changing active camerasettings etc.) my second monitor goes black, and sidewiews only shows upper part of cockpit. The lower part is black. I resolve this by pressing alt + enter twice. (I sometimes also get the mousepointerdance, which I resolve by resetting AA)I found this solution here some months ago. Was this known problem not adressed in SU2? Is there a permanent workaround for this?

hello. my pmdg problem is about the activate autopilot. after all done with FMC setting. and running.. TOGA mode. rotate.. gear up.. after 1000ft, I pushed cmd a button. but it dissarmed soon.. and AP First alarm appears aboce ND.. so I tried again with push LNAV button before takeoff. (VNAV didn't pushed) after rotate.. same problem happen.. I really want to know what is the problem is.. autopilot disarmed. so I had to follow FD manually.. After opening the overhead panel and closing it again all displays in the main panel view are frozen. If you close the main view (SHIFT-2) and open it again the displays are back alive.PMDG v1.3FS2002 on Win2KPlease help!Art Vandalay

I have spent 5 hours trying to get this guy to stop losing it's nice textures, but it isn't happening. The one suggestion the world class support gave didn't apply, so if you or anyone needs a copy, I will hock it for $30 so you or a friend can save a few. Although I have had some probs with the Piper Meridian in terms of textures missing, this guy can't get off the ground without a wing texture, or side 2D cockpit disappearing. Even going back to the Create a Flight page the textures fall off! I am able to fly the Eaglesoft and Meridian usually with no problems but occasionally the same thing occurs, and it is not a case of frames, it's just the dang thing won't keep…

Hi guys just a quick one.When I try to downlaod v1.3 I continually get thrown back to the downlaods front page where the options for downloading various items are navdata, service updates etc.I have tried wit normal downlaod and using DAPlus but no differenece.Any help appreciatedRegardsRob GrantYBBN

I've been using the 737 "as is", only updating the AIRAC from NAVDATA, but since some sid/star procedures were missing from the database, I went to the download section of NAVDATA and grabed a bunch of them! ;) the problem is I don't know were to place them in the FMCWP folder, if in fact this is the correct one, since the downloaded files are .txt, not correspondig to the existant file types in the Folder. I've been running the PMDG 737 wonderfully with FS2002. I just upgraded to FS2004 and installed the 737.The overhead panel is being covered by the 2D panel, as if the panel was "outside" the aircraft, instead of the panel covering the 2d panel like it normally does. I have to pull the panel up to get to the bottom functions.How do I solve this?Thanks,Rick Edwards

Wondered for some time how most pilots operate the Nav Rad while flying in the " real " worldI mean do they tune them manually..since there is no auto tune or do they just leave them off?If so what are the exceptions?Thanks

Geez it is pretty but it disappears! My sys isn't too awful bad, but man this thing is good for about 3 view then off goes the fuselage or side VC textures. I tried increasing AGP aperture to 256, increasing Texture_Bandwidth to 1200, lowered autogen to dense (from max dense), and still the sucker's textures slip off after a few minutes. What can I do this is becoming unusable, and for $40, that is not good!Noel

Hi all, I have been using the F1 & F3 Thru F10 keys assigned thru CF9 menu to access the different panel veiws. The only issue I have had with the 737, is when in FLCH I will consistantly bust the altitude in the climb by around 120 feet.After reading all the warnings about only using the PMDG panel switcher, I tried assigning my overhead to F8 thru the PMDG switcher,and get the panel to open, but it will not close with a second F8 key press. Any ideas? Oh I forgot, every time I make an assignmet change thru PMDG switcher, I get a crash to desktop.

Just a quick question. I've just installed SU3 over my installation (bought before jan 14) and I noticed that the FMC still reads "PMDG 727NG SU2 (10.4)".Is this ok or something has gone wrong in my installation? Thanks in advance for any help.Leonardo Cappuccio

Just read on MSNBC, that Boeing is installing new toilets in their new 737's. These will "eliminate the slamming of the toilet seat, that startled the pilots" and "reduce the sucking sound" (their words, not mine). I assume we will be receiving an update patch for this. I'm sure I speak for the other users here, who expecting realism, have been expecting to hear those slamming toilet seats.(You can skip that sucking sound thing though). John Fitzpatrick

hii know this subject has been discussed before but i have a questionbefore upgrading my comp two days ago i was able to change sounds for PMDG aircraft by going into pmdg file folder within fs2004 and adjusting various volumes for 737-700 in 2D panelnow i reinstalled with ver1.3 and cannot find this volume adjustment for pmdg planes (i could change the fs2004 general volume system) but cant find the pmdg volume controls for various enviornments.can someone please direct me to where i can find these volume adjustments for pmdg i have looked everywhere (and used them before)thank youBo

Enter everything into the FMC, preflight complete, V2 set in MCP. Line up on the runway, spool up engines to ~40% N1 with brakes on. Hit TO/GA switch and release brakes. I hear some kind of buzzer or possible warning sound (cycles) until after I liftoff the ground, then it stops.Am I missing something in the checklist procedure that would cause this sound when pressing TO/GA or is this supposed to happen now with SU2?Sorry if this is a stupid question or has already been answered but I haven't been reading the forums like I have wanted to lately.Edit: Forgot to sign (AGAIN!)Keith

First off, the FMCon my other post i was shown the vatsimuk routes over the water, is there one of these for the pacific (KSEA to Phnl)and on 1.3, I bought and downloaded my PMDG on the 12/22/03, do I need this?

this problem was on 1.2 and is still here with 1.3; the problem is with the port and centre arft ceilings showing the wrong texture, i am not sure if this problem occures with any of the 3D cabin models as i only use the 3D cockpit version.

How do I get the stairs down? It does not show in key assignments.Also, do the cargo/baggage compartment open?

Hi guys, I've made about 15 flights with the update. I always get the altitude horn for 1000 to go when climbing. Level off and continue climb I always receive the warning. I never get the warning in descent (VNAV, LVL CHG, V/S). Also I get the "Twenty-five Hundred" call on about 15% of flights. Re: wind issues on final. I just flew into KLGA last week with wnds of 32014G29 and light to moderate turbulence autoland on 4. I'm glad the autopilot was flying! haha It did a superb job and put it on the touchdown zone. Lots of yawing and a little roll.Love the plane!Chris Saunders

Whenever I use a "Cold Start & Dark Cockpit" to begin a PMDG flight, it appears to me that when I use APU bleed, the Bleed Air Duct Pressure Indicator does not show any air pressure at all. If I use a standard start with engines already running and being aligned on the runway, subsequently slewing to a gate and shut down the plane completely, then starting up the engines, the bleed pressure is indicated. Am I missing a switch / procedure during cold start up?

Thanks PMDG for adding the option to hear the Callouts in external views. When taking off and Landing, I Hit "W" to increase my much needed framerates, now I can hear 80 Knots, V1, V2, Rotate as well as 2500, 1000, and so on, when landing.It's appreciated.

Hello all.Does anyone of you know, if it is possible to have a APU sound audiable only from the outside? I would really love this feature as it would make it even more real :)Is there a way to programm that? I would try to edit the sound.cfg myself but dont know how to do that really. I know how to make changes etc. but this is far to advanced for me.I would highly appreciate any help.ThanksJan Urban
