Hi PMDG,after installing 1.3 service update I've noticed a strange behaviour of 737 during descent and approach. The fligt plan is: from EGLL 09R via DET SID, via BIG STAR, to 09R ILS approach. From FL120, set as cruise alt, with alt set to 2500 feet before reaching T/D point, the 737 starts descending FROM 12000 feet (after T/D) but does not descend under about 11000 feet (VNAV and LNAV on), consequently arrives to ILS alignment at about 9000 feet of altitude. Before installing 1.3 everithing worked well.Andrea

As many airlines use the CFM56-7B22 in the -700, I would like to know if there is a way to get the FMC in the -700 to use the 22k rated engine data (same as default-600). If it cannot be changed directly, perhaps a indirect method such as altering a line in the cfg or air file, etc. Thanks for any suggestions. Steve B. ATP 737

Hi,After installing v1.3 the autospoiler arming switch (shift + /) does not work any more. I tried other key combinations, however without result. Only / works: autospoiler on / off.Is this a known problem?Frans DekkerKLM074

Anyone have scenery or know of any scenery for KMDW in FS9? Will the one made for fs2002 work with it? Let me know. I messed up my default scenery and the AFCAD and i want to start over. Let me know.Brad

Hello, I'm a user in Korea who operates a VA with a PMDG fleet. We mostly participate in activities in a multiplayer event which goes on almost everyday. However our members always had a thing about the aircraft's moving parts in a multiplayer session. It is not possible to see the rudder move....It would only stay left..However the lighing seems to work nice.We wish that in the next update multiplayer part would be updated also.. here are some screenshots of our fleet and multipayer events..http://www.dcman.net/bbs/data/media/yeosuwall.jpghttp://www.dcman.net/bbs/data/media/maiden737.jpghttp://www.dcman.net/bbs/data/media/new737.jpghttp://www.dcman.net/bbs/data/media/family…

Checking it out and was wondering how people feel about smoothness/frames with this beast. It looks attractive. I am using the Piper Meridian from Flight1 Software so if you can compare to that it would be meaningful. Thanks!Noel

Guys,I am having a lot of fun with this plane and with the support of the PMDG team it can only get better! However, I am experiencing a strange behaviour of which I am not certain whether it is an issue with the 737.If I do a push back I am not able to make the plane turn left or right (by pushing 1 or 2 on the main keyboard). With other planes I have no problems.Any thoughts?Marco

Dear PMDG team, when :1) during a flight (not on ground)2) I try to change key assignment using the PMDG menu I get the screen frozen and an XP error message (send/don't send)Another thing is that very often, when changing view the VNAV disconnects (!!). It happens indifferently using the joystick or keyboard command (S) to change view.Strange, not? :-) DavidPS: I run winXP on a very powerful machine (PIV 3.2, FX5900 256 Mb and 2Gb RAM) and have only pleasure flying the fantastic 737, there are the only 2 issues I have. Thanks for your attention

I wanted to do this flight: EINN-CYQX.If you do the direcy GPS route on the game itself it says it is like 1600 miles or something. I then go to a route planner service thing, and the shortest route is 3000!Is there a way to do something about that? I suppose you could fly direct to a way point before an approach, but on mine the plane does not follow the little pink line too good. I flew to Hawaii, with a my second waypoint there, (1st was in WA), and somewhere over the ocean the plane was 70 miles off course (XTK, away from the pink line in the plan window)I am open to any suggestions!

Hello all,I reinstalled FS2002 and ofcourse I installed the PMDG 737NG.Then I updated the Airac to 0313 and installed some sids and stars. The problem is that when I select an airport like EHAM or EGKK (with an installed sid/star file into the PMDG sidstar directory) I get an error, in each sid/star!Now I saw a few topics which looked the same but they had only trouble using 1 airport..I asked some people who use the same sids and stars but they don't have this same problem as I do so it must be me!Anyone who knows what to do?Regards,Rick

Have run into a Landing gear problem. Started using WideFS and now when I set up a flight in the FMS and take off, my landing gear wont come up. If I just fly without any FMS plan the landing gear works fine. Help!

I know that the 800/900 variants will incorporate TCAS and WX Radar technology. That being said, after the release of the 800 and 900 will the 600/700 be patched to incorporate TCAS and WX Radar also? Thanks, Jase Traylor

PMDG Team,I love the feature of undocking the EFIS Displays but you guessed it, I want more :) More of a request though!Would it be also possible to have the CDU/FMS Display & Standby instruments undockable as well?I hear that the new version of PIC767 is implementing features for cockpit builders. These features include offset variable output for annunciators and switches for the entire cockpit. My intension it to use PMDG for my Simpit, but so far this is not possible because of these limited exterior access to the aircraft via FSUIPC. I'm aware of a SDK soon to be released but this is still limited, could the entire aircraft be considered for future development?Th…

Hi guys, First of all,may I say what a fantastic product! I was slightly dubious about buying the 737,after having a few problems with other aircraft I'd bought from other developers, shan't say who, but, anyway, what a pleasure to buy something without having to download 20 patches to make things work!Great looking product, which performs superbly on my cp.Anyway to cut to the chase, simple question..where is the TOGO switch located ?I can't seem to find it.Thanks for any help.Regards,Martin.

There are many posts reporting problems and requesting assistance, but for a change I would simply like to offer my thanks and congratulations. Don't get me wrong, I agree that all sorts of questions need to be asked about a product as complex as the 737 NG, and indeed it is through searching this forum that I resolved the minor problems I have had.I have previously been a PIC767 devotee, and I still love it to bits. However I wanted a shorter range aircraft but couldn't bring myself to use an aeroplane which didn't match the PIC767 in realism and flight dynamics. Glowing reviews tempted me to the PMDG 737NG, and now that I have been flying it for 2 weeks, I am hugely …

Hello everyone. There was a post a while back addressing the issue of the Southwest "Spirit" winglets repaints. I haven't seen any solutions posted. The inside of the winglet isn't supposed to be grey but instead have the the same paint as the outside of the winglet....Just like on the "Classic" version. Does anyone know how to fix this or has a new installer been made available? Thank you!BrianRichmond, Virginia USA

What are the criteria I should know before I make my Vref selection?Must one always land full flaps? Thanks,John Franklin

I've looked everywhere and even asked this question before, but I still can't do this. How do I skip waypoints in the FMC? Say I'm enroute to airport X and my next waypoint is A, B and C. ATC then vectors me away from the path so I never reach waypoint A, but the FMC still believes my next waypoint is A. What I want to do is enter airport X as my next waypoint...how can I do this?Another question. I see that it's possible to enter wind direction and wind speeds into the FMC along the route, does this make a difference, I mean, does the PMDG calculate something different if that is entered into the FMC? How would I know before hand the wind speeds and direction along my ro…

I have a problem with the throttle after landing. Everything has been OK, LOC and GS capture good autoland, I have made a couple of flights with no problems I want to try it on VATSIM tonight but when the front weel touches the ground and I activate the thrust reversers with the F2 key when I get to 40 kts I press F1 and start with the brakes after that if I use the throttle to taxi it makes a beep beep sound this is with flaps retracted autobrake off autospoilers off and no brakes soo I do not know what I am doing rongPLEASE HELP ME I REALLY LIKE THIS AIRCRAFT!!Sincerely yoursRicardo Zaldivar

great looking pictures of the cockpit of your upcoming Beechcraft 1900D guys. I especially like the fact you seem to be using photo-quality images for the interior views like Dreamfleet does. in my humble opinion they are the best way to make FS9 "as real as it gets" and I really hope u will consider using these views for the upcoming 747-400. also another benefit for me anyways isd that i seem to get better frame rates with digital photo-type interior views than rendered or computer drawn images. keep up the great work guys!!

Hi all!Thought I'd plan a small trip to Edinburgh from Birmingham in the 737 this evening, and just for fun I tried to enter the route I got from ukroutes into the fmc:EGBB-TNT-A2-POL-B4-MARGO-TWEED1A-EGPHBut when I try to add airway a2 from tnt to pol, and b4 from pol to margo I just get invalid entry. How come? Since they're not reported as missing they must be in the database or? I've been following the route on the fs-map, and it looks correct, is there something special going on with the two letter airways?rgrds/fredrik granfors

I have both AS 2004 and the PMDG. I am aware that there are problems with the two pieces of software while running at the same time. I try to fly with AS2004, but majority of the time, witness it screw up my final approach. This can be my only explanation for why I am having manual landing problems. I seem to have the plane being "blown" all over the place when not having autopilot engaged. I wish that AS2004 would work better with PMDG. The weather can be breathtaking at times, but what good is it when as soon as you click AP off on final, you can barely control the plane? My question is who has success using both? If you do, what settings do you use and what are…
