Hey Guys,I was wondering if anyone else was having the problem of the digital stuff in the panel looking kind of blurry. First of all...sorry to all the captains looking at this thread and expexting to see the new TCAS in the upcoming PMDG release. :)Second, would it be possible to get a screenshot of the TCAS in action...pretty please with sugar on top. I have not flown for a while, and thus I have not flown ur NG since you released the 1.2...I installed it and the new 1.3 but didn't fly the plane...I have just flown from EKCH<->EHAM and must say that this baby flies like a dream!You have really gained as much credibility and honor as the PIC guys, you are a blessing to the virtual skies!!!And the fact that you are making a regional AND the B744 that has been rediculed and treated with out respect by many many payware guys ;) really makes me SO excited about the future of MSFS and PMDG...I am SOOO much looking forward to your 744!!! First off when I start the aircraft there are two very loud noises one coming from the Recirc Fan when I place the knob on Auto and the other I have no idea where it's coming from. I know it's not the APU and I know they are not suppose to be there. Another is none of the gauges or anything else works or registers unless I cycles views with S ending back in the cockpit then it will show correct airspeed alt all that. Then when I do that the noises come back and the only way to get rid of that is to shift through the different views at least once with the Shift + 1-4. Changing the knobs on EFIS doens't move the button but it gives me the selection I want. The only …

I have installed and received the "successfully installed" final screen for SU1.3 but when I go into FS9 and goto PMDG...About....it still shows 1.02 as the version number dated mid-December. Help.Steve

Just want to make clear off the top that this isn't a serious problem nor a gripe -- just an interesting anomaly I ran across today.Set up a flight as follows:KLAX-KRSW: LAXX5.IPL J2 GBN J50 ELP DCT PIE.SRQ5(It probably helps to know that the LAXX5 isn't in the SIDSTAR database, so you have to enter the waypoints manually: OCN VISTA JLI KUMBA IPL.)ZFW: 120.0 FUEL: 32.0 CRZ ALT: FL370 CI: 100Chose TO-2 and CLB-2 for N1 Limit; I pretty much always de-rate unless the runway's really short and I'm full of fuel. What is this message suppose to mean ?I have Airac 0313 for both Fsbuild2.1 and 737NG installed plus the latest SID/STAR db for 0313 from PMDG site installed.The problem seems to be with KBOS so far, it doesn't list any runways even though the KBOS.txt exists in the SID/STAR folder.Any idea ?

Good Afternoon,I have noticed something strange while flying using FSMETEO.FSMETEO gives arrival qnh for example 1015. Passing the TL. If I press B for auto baro setting the QNH that is displyed is tottaly different like 1020. The strange is that the QNH inserted with B give the correct airport altitude at touch down while manually inserted qnh gives wrong airport alyitude. That is observed only using PMDG.I havr the latest FSUIPC in my Machine.Any ideas?Thx in advChris

May be this question has already been posted but will the available tutorials be updated further to the release of the 1.2 (I think the 1.3 does not change anything)?I remarked also that the procedures described in both tutorials are not quite the same; does this matter? are they both valid?Many thanks,

HiSince I installed today the new service update v1.3 there are some problems with the panel in FS2002.When I switch back from the overhead panel to the main panel, the panel freezes. (all the crt displays freeze) Only when I change shortly the panelview, the Displays come alive again. (The panel sound is also away in that situation.)During the landing phase, capturing the localizer, the loc and glideslope pointers on the pfd don't move.Does anybody have the same problems?Regards

How can you get the FS flight plan to follow the flight plan on the CDU? If I select a IFR plan from the FS, will the ATC break me off the route generated by FMC?

these are 3 questions I have about the relation between ATC instructions and flight plans.1. In real life, when flying a flight plan and being allowed to be on own navigation by ATC, what happens when you reach BOD (Beginning of Descend). Do you continue flying at the cruising altitude until ATC tells you to descend, or do you descend according to the flight plan?2. The same applies to taking off. After take off, do you wait until ATC allows you to fly your flight plan, after which you probably fly directly to the closest waypoint, or can you fly the flight plan immediately? If the latter is not the case, what is then the purpose of planning a SID?3. Does ATC have an exac…

First, thanks PMDG for the wonderful B737NG, however you may be cited as co-respondent in my divorce.Can I make a plee - there is a mass of information in the documentation that is available for this a/c, please read it. I am no expert but a lot of the points raised in this forum are explained there. I know we all want to be 'up there' in the blue yonder rather than reading b****y manuals, but the less time the guys at PMDG spend answering our questions the quicker we might get the next release.;)

OK, I can open the Main Exit, lower and raise the stairway, but I just cannot get the cargo doors to open. What key commands are some of you using, and under what category in the settings page? Or maybe my cargo doors came welded shut? :-eek Bob Kellett

Since I installed the 1.3 update the autothrottle is not stable it changes speeds dramaticly. It fluctuates 30 to 50 miles per hour up and down.

when I go to enter coordinates into a FMC (example: my flight from NCRG-NZAA). I use the FSbuild 1.4 and it says like ncrg-wp1 through wpt5-aklom-xedes-bolod-nzaa.now you can't put wpt1 in there, so I tried it's coordinates, which were S23:22:27 W162:30:16. I put it in as S2322.3W16230.2, and it says the "NOT IN DATABASE". I put this in in the RTE screen, am I doing something wrong?

I just wanted to say that the PMDG 737NG product is outstanding. I purchased version 1.2 and updated to version 1.3 and I have had no problems at all so far. With a 3.0 GHz P4 system, the frame rates are great, too, even with Ultimate traffic, sliders at 80%, 3-D clouds, etc.If the 747-400 is just as good, I will certainly be looking to trade-in my 747-200SF for a new model !! (Please produce some cargo models!!) :)
