Just curious, when making adjustments to land with PMDG 737-700, why is it that the thing seems real sluggish? Not in frame rates (3 Gigs of ram fixed that), but the aircraft itself just seems to have a slow response time to steering while in low speed flight, I'm talking, 140 knots, flaps 30 and gear down, just making the final approach through STARS or something simple. And another question, I am getting very comfortable with VATSIM, and have one online flight under my belt, however, still flying with FS9's ATC sometimes, and do A LOT of visual approaches in the PMDG 737. So, what it is, the Styles menu option? You can select wether its of or on, but I cant see what it really does.BTW, I saw in a video that in reality they can push on the ALT knob to start descend on VNAV for example. Something regarding to this maybe?

Hello,Is there supposed to be an audible altitude alert when approaching the selection on the MCP? I get the horn while climbing but never in the descent. The magenta selection in the PFD doesn't change either.Regards,Alan

Only recently purchased 737 600/700 (fed up waiting for DF737), really pleased with the product but can someone please tell me how to get NDBs to display in the ND, everything else is there Airports, waypoints, VORs etc but no NDBs. Hi CaptainsI've come up against a question that the manual doesn't seem to cover:On the FMC (737 800/900 series), when setting the flight up, I eventually arrive at the 'N1 LIMIT' page. Top left LSK is 'SEL/OAT' with an input area of 4 dash lines and a temperature (i.e. ----/15).Firstly, what exactly is being requested by 'SEL/OAT'?Secondly, what input format will the dash-lines accept?Finally, is there a relevance to this field (i.e. does it make any difference to settings/performance etc.)?Thanks for any help.Toni.

I have noticed a couple of things that are a bit odd...1) After I park the aircraft and switch off all the power I save the flight but when I next log in the cockpit is powered up.2) The 'fuel used' switch does not show anything. Pressing it down makes the indicators disappear in the fuel flow gauges but it does not change the reading on the fuel quantity gauges...these continue to display the fuel remaining. And I am being careful not to flip the switch to 'reset' before attempting the fuel used reading.Also...just as a comment...it would be nice to be able to have a clock display visible when in cockpit 'M' or 'Z' mode. Would like to request a fictional Jetblue livery in either the 800 or 900. Gary Hayes did a wonderful job on the -700 for a Jetblue fictional livery and I would love to have one of the 800 or 900's painted up in my favorite airline...any takers?

I have ordered and received in the past PMDG Boeing 737 600/700 and the 800/900 update. I received them quickly via email. I ordered my 1900 on Saturday and I am still waiting. I have sent several emails, my money has been taken out of my credit card but no response. I love my 737 and the support has been great but I have heard nothing for 3 days. First let me explain I am a complete novice with computers , that said I read in the forum about the Jet Line 2 gauges and how good they were. I went ahead and spent some money and downloaded the program no problem. Installation went OK then I started Fs 2004 and went to the PMDG Express but the gauges were normal instead I found the default King Air 350 had the Jet Line gauges installed.I have read the user guide but to me it doesnt make it very clear how to install the gauges in the PMDG Express.Can some kind soul give me some guidance on how to do this. first of all thanks for all your help this is for randy.randy iwent into device manager this is what it said primary ide device 1 dma available,transfer mode ultra dma mode5.secondary ide.device1 dma if available,current transfer-pio,mode is this secondary ide mean my second hardrive if this is the case it is 80gb hardrive with only fs2004 on it .secondary ide dosen't give me a option of changing to dma mode or do i have to go in to bios to change

I would like to setup a double consolle for flying with friends.Since setting up a F/O instrumentation set sure is a breeze for you (a couple of changes here and there, and cloning of some things...) is there any possibility of this being taken into account for a future update?Thank youClaudio

I purchased 600/700 as a CD from Simware (before I was on broadband. Can I now purchase 800/900 and install it without causing problems?

The Baro/Altimeter knob on the MCP has some issues when trying to select the proper altimeter. Also, when pushing the STD on button it goes between 2 different readings. This is in 2D panel and the STD bug seems to occur when in EFIS mode.Is there a fix being worked on? If so, sorry for not seeing it mentioned.:)Chris

hi guy's i hate to say this but i'm going to put the 600/700/800&900's in the hangars.i've tried everything short of of buying a new system.(new 9600xt,256mb-radeon,updated bios,everything i seen &heard in this post the only thing i've have not done is tickle the cpu but i can't find any computer shop that will do it i'm not confident to do sys-amd 2.4 asus a7v8x-m/b/768,ddr,2700 of ram 9600xt radeon 17;monitor.my main concern is the stuttering it just anoying me to hell can anyone help .the pmdg aircraft are great and i want to use them desprately

Hi all,Any advice here would be VERY appreciated!!!I've been using the NG for a few days and I've been immersed into this whole new level of realism. But, the built-in ATC just cannot keep up anymore so I decided to use VATSIM.I followed Vatsim's Tutorial 103 to a T but I fear that's where I messed up. Now when I go to load any of the NG's either the FS crashes with app name listed pmdg_737ng_main_gau.Seeing as following the Vatsim tutorial had me edit the fs9.cfg file, I'm hoping there is something that needs to be re-edited?I see a lot of you guys are using VATSIM so I'm hoping you will know what it is I'm dealing with.Thanks in advanceChuck Nevin
