Hi all, could someone tell me if the term 'heavy' relates only to the '747 queen of the skies' or also to other types, such as the 737, etc.Also, is there a definitive list of abbreviations used in the aeronautical world available to us newbies, on a particular website.Thanks.Keith Sandford

Hello I have a question for real 737 pilot life. How do you make a descent with the plane? Are you all the time in VNAV during the descent? If you use LVL CHG, when do you activate it ? A last question, If your are to high on your FMC descent plan (with lvl chg or v/s) do you make a holding point?Thanks in advance

AM TRYING TO OPEN THE EXTERIOR DOORS...ONE REPLY WAS TO HIT ALT AND THEN ASSIGN A COMMAND IN THE PMDG OPEN DOORS SELECTION...FOR ME, USING A CD, NOT A DOWNLOAD, THERE IS NO OPEN DOORS SELECTION TO PRODUCE A COMMAND KEY...SO WHAT DON'T I UNDERSTAND? THANKS.

I understand 1)entries and execution in the FMC and the need to have the commands become BIG 2) inherent conflicts with speed and altitude changes 3) how to fly the aircraft with MCP commands only 4) the need to dial in altitudes on the MCP.I am having problems with speed/altitude constraints from the FMC. Nice pics, Mr xxx?, but I may have to ground your aircraft.... I see some serious safety breaches... 1. Incorrect parking of the aerobridge in Sydney.... One giant leap for mankind.... parachutes optional? :-)2. The rear left hand door is wide open and there is no safety strap fitted.3. Someone has forgotten to install the second ADF Antenna (i.e. one of the black, flattish types on the roof). Sounds like someone is out to ruin our excellent safety record???!!!! :-)Cheers.Ian.

Hi, I was wondering if it would be possible to do a repaint of my 737-275 flight deck that I bought. The a/c retired from Canadian Airlines on 1-31-02. I have refence photos at my website www.projectb737ng.com and would like to continue flying the a/c in FS9, but as a 737-700 which I am now modeling it after. I have additional photos if needed. Can you tell me who does repaints of the PMDG 737-700 a/c if you are unavailable. I would also (sorry for being Greedy) would like a plain white 700 with Project B737NG in royal blue letters. Hi everybody!Just saw a photo of a Virgin Blue 738 and the F/O FMC shows prog. page 1 of 4...from PMDG we know how progress page 2 looks like (wind+temp. data, deviations from track etc.).I guess on Prog. page 3 there is RTA stuff, but what's on the 4th page? Hi PMDG flyers,Anybody else had flew a "REVERSE ROUTE" after a normal FMC flight?I did five or six different flights with the B737 800/900 and flew back using the FMC REVERSE ROUTE way.Just reversing all the legs of the route (is an automatic function of the FMC) I just modified the departure and the arrival runway, but had a little problem:In the ND (Navigation Display) the Active Leg is not drawn in the ND (magenta line). I can see the next Route Leg, but when arrives to the new waypoint the new Active Leg disappears again

OK, I'd like to try to change the panel display type in 737ng 800-900. There has been mention of a Styles menu. I have FS 2004-Century of Flight. I cannot find this menu! I do not have a top menu bar within FS. How do I access this??? Can someone please point me in the right direction...Thanks much
