Can anyone confirm that the 8/900 upgrade has caused the 6/700 logo light to be displayed, no matter how the overhead switch is set? Is this related to the change in the model and will it be fixed when the new 6/700 model is released?Since I upgraded to the 8/900, my 700 series aircraft's logo light is always on, no matter how the logo light switch is set.Bruce Nicholson

Hi (sorry i know it's not the PIC forum but ...)I'm a power user of the PIC767 since it came out for FS2000 and with the patch for FS2002. Unfortunatly there is no time frame to get a FS2004 version (new product). I have decided to move to FS2004 and the problem is now to get a similar good plane as the PIC767 (very good FMC, werv good airmodel etc) for FS2004.I think the option I have are:1. PMDG 737NG - 700/8002. Phoenix PSS A330/3403. Wilco A320 PIC4. Aviograsf A3405. Others?Can anybody help me with my decision?Thanks for your answers and sugestionsPeter KollerLSZH/Z

The specifications for the 700 show a GTOW of 133,000 lbs. But the Load Manager shows a Max Gross of 153,500 lbs...which seems to beway too high.Why is this?Roger Curtiss

Ever since I started to use PMDG's excellent products, I noticed that when I fly online on VATSIM, all other aircraft are the same PMDG type + livery as mine and not the SquawkBox CSL aircraft as they used to be. I already tried to install the SB CSL package again, but that didn't help. It's not a big problem, but an airport full of KLM 738's is a bit unrealistic :-)Does anyone else have this problem or know how to fix it?

Hello, Captains,I just got the superb NG 800/900. A breed apart!Two little problems, though, (so far, I hope):a) No way I can arm the Speed Brakes (Shift+/) and if I arm it manually, it is not deployed at landing.:( Where is the save function in the FMC. CaptainsI seem to have a small 'display' anomoly on the 800/900 (which was never there on the earlier 600/700) - when I've created a flight with the FMC, the magenta path seems not to align with the takeoff or destination runways on the main CDU. i.e. the path is always offset, as if I'm about to take off or land on a parallel taxiway etc.Any ideas what could be causing this?Thanks for any help.Toni.

hi guys,I was wondering if in a future update we can have thrust rating modelled in the airline profiles. For eg: The default thrust rating for the 800 is 26K engines. Jet Airways operate theirs in a 24K rating. Similarily, the 700 is defaulted to 24K wheras their a/c are rated to 22K. The MCDU shows the ratings which you have chosen to model. Is there any way we can get airline specific ratings without choosing a derate?Thanks,Dinshaw.

Gentlemen:Let me tell you about my problems. I had no problems before I buy PMDG800/900 and a new video card, details below, and since FPS is around 04 and 12 on the ground and not much better in the air, plus te PC shuts down and restarts. It shuts down even before I start flying. I formated the hard disk re-downloaded all the prgrams required but no luck. Hello PMDG,Firstly I simply am addicted to your planes.Secondly I am addicted to my GoFlight controls. For the most part I have them working with the PMDG 737 series. The MCP is buggy but I have it hit and miss working with Pete Dowson's wonderful keymapping in FSUIPC. Hi all,Just downloaded the full pkg NG/800/900 and finally got this beast in the air!! I am truly impressed...much to my better half's chagrin!Anyways, does anyone have a resource or method for determining what runway to use at the arrival airport if you aren't connecting online? Also, I don't want to use MS ATC vectoring. Before I leave the ground at the departure airport, I'd like to set up a tentative destination runway...I know you can look at the prevailing winds and make an educated guess...but I suppose I'm looking for perhaps a website that might tell you. Hey, I thought this may "please" some of the 737 dwellers in here, a design I did for a VA. The brief was a high-end sort of airline, attracting business-type flyers, but it's got to stand out in a crowd! It's on a -300, but I suspect they will be putting it on the NG! Just want to know what you guys think? Pity I had to size it down to half it's original size, you loose a lot of detail that is already on the template I did. When I use PMDG 737 8,900 for flight, it will jump out the game suddently.....and last time I use PMDG 737-700 took flight from YMML~YSSY, after I take off, then it suddently show a black screen and MUST shut down the game.......I have fully uninstall the game and re-install it again, the problems are still here......anyone like me???>.

Hello PMDG and painters!Question onto you, some time ago, I can remember I asked about BA Union Flag liveries, and I believe I saw both 737s 800 (also 900?) and for sure the 1900D painted with Union Flag livery. I know this is fictional, but as I already seen it in the forum, why isn't it available for the download over the Download section on the PMDG website. AFAIK, the Beech livery of BA available in the library is the old BA color. They are all white now with different tails... And that beautiful BA red flag :)Is it possible to obtain somehow the liveries of new British Airways?Thanks!

Hi.I was doing some tests today and I found that if I use R-TO I could maintain V2+20 until 3000AGL.My question is: WHEN I should use R-TO/R-CLB and when I should use TO/CLB? When I should disengage the TOGA mode? Am I suppsoed to reduce thottle right after takeoff in order to maintain V2+20?Thanks,
