I changed my computer not a long time ago and i`m trying to re-install the 737 on my new computer, the installation go fine but i get a message that this is a trial version ?Any help would be greatly appreciated..GlivielRobert Martel

Hello I have a few Questions Reguarding the NG 737. 1) What is the LRC Long Range Cruise speeds in Mach for the 600-700- 800-900? All,This is probably a brain #### taking place, but I can't see whats wrong.After having flown on LNAV and VNAV for most of my flight, the display shows a TOD point and the RTE on the FMC shows the speeds and altitudes on the approach waypoints, however wen it reaches the TOD it just keeps on flying by and starts recalculating the subsequent speed/alt for the waypoints.So why isn't it descending??Steve Brown

This happened to me last night on a 600 mile flight at about mile 400. All of a sudden, both engines flamed out! I check everything- plenty of gas, etc. One thing I forget to do was turn on the center tank pumps. Both the wing tanks had gas and the pumps were on, so I wasn't sure if that was the problem. Turned off the cutoffs, turned on the APU, set the bleed, and flipped the start switches to FLT, and they started back up, and I was able to finish the flight. Any ideas on why my tired self might have done wrong, or is there another issue?

Just curious about what type of FPS people get in fs? Here is me leaving KBFI in the B1900 spot view. Hi All!I got the PMDG 737-700/600 (boxed version). I went through all the manuals and followed the tutorial which is very good by the way.However, after take off the plane has a tendency to disconnect "VNAV" and to go into a steep nose dive for the ground. It happens at any randon time and there is now error msg in the FMC.I did my last flight with LNAV on and controlled the plane with the MCP (so no VNAV mode engaged) But even then...sometimes the "ALT HOLD" disconnects and the plane dives for the ground. Just as an idea:The more I post here the more I think we should have an online real time instructional chat facility for all those interested in real world techniques. We could use Netmeeting perhaps for a whiteboard and file sharing in conjuction with a decent voice client such as Teamspeak, Ventrilo or some such. I would be happy to host a chat if needed.We could set them up as sort of a class. Say one on VNAV DES, another day talk about ILS approaches, MCP, AFDS usage etc etc.I would be glad to help and am in NZ so am exactly 12 hrs away from GMT and 5 hrs in front of PST for West Coast USA.Perhaps those interested could reply to this thread indicating so.Small classes…

Hello everyone...I just discovered a very interesting thing about engine failures. Some said it's failing at V1, some at 80 knots? Well, I think it all depends on ONE thing: what aircraft is loaded on beginning. Is it default Cessna? PMDG Beech? I found out, that if I load up the FS with Cessna 172, I get usually V1 fail, than I can restart, and take off normally.BUT, if I load FS initially with PMDG Beech (cold cockpit), and then load the 737-600, start up all systems, except FMC, I get 100% for sure each time 80knots engine fail. Usually right engine fails.So this isn't coincidence I think.And to say one thing more, if I boot up the FS inititally with the 737, engine fa…

In the 737/800 I have clicked on ACARS on the menu in the FMC and now find that when I press any key e.g CRZ or DESC I get the message "logoff acars first". How do I do this?

Hi,I've a question regarding saving the panel that I want to use the next flight. If I want to save a cold and dark, no problem. But If I want to save a warm and alive cockpit, and the recirculation fans are both on and the Probe heats are off and the L center wing tank is on for APU use, how can I save that config???Thanks,

Hi Captains !The situation: If I descend in LVL CHG, speed 240 the V/S is 1300 ft/min. For example,with this descend rate, it is impossible to fly the real approach KLAX, 25L CAT II & III, from FIX ARNES 10.000ft to FIX HUNDA 3500ft. The descend rate is to low.The Question: In real life which descend rate is possible, Speed 240 ?Thanks in advance !Gerhard
