I downloaded the updated navdata cycle from PMDG - and Navadata - and after the data was installed - I was programming a flight into the FMC and in programming departing and arriving airports got errors in the data (something error in FIX line 171). Also the FMC displayed no Stars nor any SIDS. Any help would be Greatly appreciated.Will

The sound in my just installed PMDG is not performing properly:I hardly hear the flaps/gear movements, no "bumpy" sound on touchdown etc..only the emgines are heard. Now you have to know, I formatted my harddisk completely and after doing this I installed the fs9+pmdg+sceneries etc. I just checked the fs9 cfg file and the only marks under [sound] are: SOUND=1 SOUND_FADER1=0.990000 SOUND_FADER2=0.660000 SOUND_FADER3=0.520000 SOUND_FADER4=0.300000 SOUND_FADER5=0.500000 SOUND_FADER6=0.280000 SOUND_QUALITY=2 My installed soundcard is a Creative SB Live Value of Creative labs. Hi guys:I downloaded some 737-800 liveries and when trying to install an error poped saying that: the file "pmdg_airstairs.bmp" could not be opened... the installation stops.Any ideas why this is happening??I installed the same way textures for the -600 and -700 without any problems.Thanks a lotDaniel Halpern

I am the proud owner of 737NG. I live in Australia so your AIRAC files are a bit limited. However when I attempt to download your navigation data updates, or your free liveries, all I get to download is the word "DOWNLOAD" and as an image. This may be a previously discussed issue but I am new to the forum so I would be grateful for your assistance as I would like to keep up to date. Meanwhile the plane is challenging and the FMC a brain stretcher. It is the best product in the MSFS sim that I have experienced. Congratulations.

Hey, I was wondering if anyone knew the default orange shade the 737 MCP comes in. I changed it to the light blue temporarily and was seeing if there was some reset or default button but there isn't, does anyone know what the correct orange shade is. ThanksJason

I have noticed this when I upgraded to the -800/-900 series. When I have made sure that both NAV radios are set to the same freq and the course selector is set and matches the course indicated by the EFIS display, APP is armed and both AP's are set everything is green. When LOC capture is initiated I get a warning "Single CH" and that warning stays until about GS capture where it once again says everything is "green" and good to go. It wasn't like this when I had only the 737NG. Should it be like this or have I missed something?I'm otherwise a very satisfied coustomer and think you guys are doing a great job!!!/Frederik Sonsky

This night when I was about to go for a flight I experienced something new to me. After fireing up the a/c from a cold & dark cockpit and I was about to taxi after pushback the throttles was returned to idle whenever I tried to advance them for increased thrust!?Not sure if I did anything wrong or if it was some strange kind of a bug...anyone seen this before? Tried advancing the throttles both using the throttle gauge on my CH stick as well as using the mouse on the throttles in the throttle quadrant.

G'Day everyone.Im sure that this has been posted before, I couldnt find it though!I have a radio scanner at home (Adelaide) and I often hear Adelaide Departure say:"Virgin 158 cancel SID at SULLYS, Track direct to DANKS, Planned route." This means that the aircraft doesnt continue the SID up to ROGGS.. but instead rolls out early and heads straight for DANKS some 200nm out...This got me woundering.. if we manually enter all the waypoints for a SID and then simulated the cancellation, is there a way to make the FMC skip the remaining waypoints before the direct one? If that makes any sense :)

For those of you wanting to get a little more power out of your video card, you may want to think about overclocking (which is basically running something over what it's regulated to run at). While most video cards allow to overclock a little, a little can sometimes make a difference. There's 2 ways you can overclock; changing your BIOS or overclocking via the driver. I am fairly new to the PMDG 737-600/700 and I have a few questions. When I go through the engine start procedure, the Air Cond. light comes up on the warning panel. I know you are supposed to shut off the air conditioning packs before start. I cant find where to shut them off. I have look all through the overhead panel. I didnt notice anything about it in the PMDG manuel. Thanks in advance.Brian

Occasionally I have really irritating problems with my radios and right engine. Sometimes when I increase thorttle in my yoke only left engine work(in right engine - no effect). And second problem... when I try to change freg. in the radio stack numbers don't want to change at all. Restarting sim help at the most time. Any solutions? Are these some kind of bugs?

I have attempted to land this a/c without the FMC. I get establised on the VOR and approach the glide slope from below as guided by others in the answers on this site. I become establised on the g;lide slope with "Green" indicated in all 3 Flight mode annunciators. The a/c follows the GS to around 1000 ft and then starts to climb again in line with the VOR but leaving the GS. So apart from not having the FMC in operation I follow the instruction in the manual Pg 41Any one had this problem or what am I doing wrong?Tony Price

Why the APU don't use fuel of both tanks?In BARO MODE ( radio altimeter), i don't have altitude indicator in my altimeter.what poblem in APU and Baro MODE?

HiIs thats just typical. I have been looking forward to a flight today - and then I have to use my time (as usual) on other things :DI have not seen this problem before now. I am in the B738 cockpit and suddenly every BMP gets black. Only the LCD screens looks like they should. Then 5 seconds later - my computer reboots. This has now been happening 4 times for me.I will then try to reinstall the 737-800, and then I get this. Why? Is the installer faulty now? Where do I download it again if?BrSteen
