I had a really cool flight last night in the 700 from KPHX to KONT. Anyhow, there was plenty of traffic along the way at the same FL or close to it. I had a couple of traffic alerts, but nothing requiring action. The TCAS just makes this bird really rock! I love this plane more and more!I was wondering what you guys, or real pilots for that matter, do when traffic requires action. I know in real life the ATC does it's job warning pilots way ahead of time, but in the sim we all know that jet speed is too much and the traffic warnings are always way off. Hi everybody!Greatly enjoying the 737NG series over here!!!One question though. When in the 2D panel, I switch to one of the side views and stay there for 5-6 seconds. Upon returning to the front view the trim wheel is being activated. This is not happening in fast view switching but it always happens when I keep one of the side views active for more than 4-5 seconds.This is happening in normal cruise conditions (where AFAIK it should not happen). It is also not happening when switching from outside view to cockpit view.Has anyone else noticed this? A search in the forum has not revealed anything similar. I downloaded from the PMDG web site , WESTJET with winglets to my desk top,clicked on it and it started to install the aircraft.Made shore that it was for FS2002 and instalation went perfect.Started FS2002 cant find the aicraft anywhere.WHAT WENT WRONG?Anybody knows what went wrongThanks,Nebojsa :-hmmm

Hi, Im having a little difficulty here with the 800-900 upgrade since I have intalled it.In the section of the FMC where you enter OAT I cannot seem to enter any number below 20'c. If the temperature outside is 08 then how do I enter it please. The fmc says invalid entry yet its displayed like so __//15'c.RegardsDavid Bowen

I have the latest airac data so I am a little unsure why when I inialize my location at gate whatever at airport x I often get not in database. This is not at some obscure airport,it is usually somewhere like Frankfurt. Any comments would be appreciatedregards Rob

I have a question about center fuel tank operation on the 737NG: Do you run the center tank pumps until the tank is empty and the master caution lights up? Or should I turn off the pumps with some fuel remaining in the tank?Thanks in advance and thanks to all the advice I've already gotten from reading this great forumBill

This just started happening today. When I load the fuel, with either the 3rd party fuelplanner or the FS fuelplanner the fuel gauges will reflect the new fuel load for a second then the gauges will show full tanks. So there I was, waiting for the JetBlue Airbus to clear runway 13 at La Guardia. I don't know if it was the hypnotic spinning of Saabs engines in front of me, the light drizzle of rain on the windows, or that fact that I've done this same flight countless times before, but I was complacent.Being a real life PPL and a simmer of 20 years I had no worries.As the Saab began to roll, I knew it was only seconds until I was into the overcast. Who can tell me the workaround for opening the doors and hatches. And why couldn't the GIANT MS figure it out by now also when do you press 1 or 2 to turn during pushback bef aft durng or do u jst think it? Also I tried all sugs frm many sources to get my FMC to save flight plans and still was unable to accomplish it, about ready to burn the towel I reinstalled just the model 600-700 ver1.3 without 800-900 and the FMC works fine as soon as I install the new models back to no save and that unexplained line entry DATALINK NO COMM. If any one out there is experiencing this problem please acknowledge maybe there is an answer.Jimmy Jahns

Hey Guys-I've had this happen several times and can't seem to see a common thread to the problem. I'll have everything set up for an approach, with the proper speed per the FMC, gear down, flaps down, both A/Ps on, and I'll be coming down the glideslope like I'm on a rail. Then, the sim will seem to "jump" or "wiggle" and the next thing I know the plane is climbing away (or remaining at a constant altitude)from the glideslope and the approach has disconnected. Manual takeover is then initiated.This doesn't happen all the time, so I can't seem to figure out what is going on. Hi,In Karlsruhe airport (South Germany) there is a realy sharp turn were I have to use Assymetric thrust and differential braken.If I press the E button, I able to turn and make a good turn but then I have to reingage both engines on my throttle lever how do I do that?Thanks,

Can anyone help here - I am running FS9 @ 1600x1200 x32, and the FMC window size takes up the whole of the left screen when it is displayed. I seem to remember it was slightly smaller before the upgrade to the 700, and alsthough I have tried to use the panel.cfg size change to what the bmp size actually is(which is 351,548), the image of the fmc gets cropped when I view it using the smaller settings. Hi, All of a sudden I keep getting an FS crash when I change to the PMDG 737 now, As soon as I switch to the 2d panel view I get a black screen and lots of HD activity and a MS error screen with a crash in FS9.exe. Something is obviously corrupted somewhere. The last thing I remember doing is installing the 24th april sids/stars from the PMDG site. Before that it worked fine.I think I need to reinstall everything, can someone please let me know what files I need to do this. Hi, Is there a gauge or otherwise around that will allow online pilots to tune frequencies using the radio panel and having that reflected into SB and AVC for online flights? I find it such a hassle to have to go to SB, selecting the ATC Directory and then selecting the right entry from there.Thanks,BoazEKCH

I notice a strange behaviour of the fuel annunciators on the OH:annunciators for center fuel tank light up when-tank is empty and pumps are on-pumps are off while tank is not emptyare off otherwise.annunciators for wing tanks light up when-tank is empty no matter the pumps are on of off-tank is not empty and fuel pumps are offare off otherwise.So now what is the correct behaviour?A test i did:emptied left and center, closed xfeed, and both engines died.Why?Eng 2 should have stayed on.And to add to this, fuel is not transfered from right to left.I believe there is something strange going on in the fuel dept. :(Then on the spoilers:to my great sadness, i discovered that it …

Hi,i want to build an external FMC unit for my cockpit. That means, the input should be done via an external unit to the FMC. All numbers and alphabet signs are no problem, but the big problem is, that i have to make a command with the LSK Keys and the Menu keys? Is there a mapping available? Or is the only chance to get this working with key2mouse?please help!thanksgreetings Mark

All,Does the 800/900 FMC still do the auto V1, Vr, and V2 calculations like. I can program the 600/700 FMC and it does it fine, but do the saem programming in the 800/900 and hitting the buttons doesn't fill in the fields automatically??Any ideas. Thanks in advanceSteve Brown

Captains,It has been a while since we have had a groupflight. I think it is time to have another one :) What routes would you guys like to see? Usally this happens when there is a videocard issue.Be it some strange driver setting or more common some overclock.I also experienced such problems with AGP set to 8x (now at 4x).Do a check on this, check gpu temperatures, even if ti4800 isn't that much of an oven...BRClaudio
