Hello,I bought the PMDG B737-700NG and I have some problems.First: the Loadmanager doesn't work... the sliders are dead... nothing moves.Second: the message in the FMC: "navdata required". This installation (from CD) contains the necessary data... I had to put the FMCWP-map into PMDG-map, otherwhise the FMC remains black. But this message is still there.Yesterday (all at a sudden... it worked, but the next time the same message. What is goeing wrong ?Thanks anyway. Jos

The empty weight is 94580 lbs. The max ZFW is 140300 lbs. The max passenger load is 189. If you load max passengers you have only 11700 lbs for baggage. That works out to 62 lbs for each passenger. Are these figures correct? These figures are for the 737-900Ray51 - Premier Airways Driver

Hi everyone,I have noticed that when on final approach, if you throttle back at anything more than 30 feet the aircraft just plummets like a stone. On other 737 simulations, Payware and Freeware, I can throttle back at 200 feet and let it glide in.I don't know if this has been posted before...Regards,Tom WoottonCEO of Air be Virtual Airlineswww.airbe.tk

Hi Folks,I'm curious about what the different Call Button "ding-dongs" actually communicate to the flight attendants. Depending on the phase of flight, I know that one "ding-dong" can be very different than three or four "ding-dongs". Are there any real-life pilots that can help me out? I try to make my 737 flights as realistic as possible, but I've never been able to find a guide on how to signal the cabin crew about what is going on in the cockpit. Any input would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance,Marc

Anyway to light up the panel in the daytime when facing into the sun in order to see the gauges more clearly. They seem awfully dim and are hardly discernable. However, if you have the sun to your side, the panel lights up significantly and you can see the gauges with little or no problem..Regards,JackKGSP

Dear PMDG,Excellent work as usual chaps, but I was always losing my custom panel size and position settings for my FMC, Radio stack and Lower Eicas in my default aircraft. I always had to resize them when I opened a new aircraft, even though I made my own cold and dark settings default aircraft.I am happy to say that modifying the panel.cfg file fixes these cosmetic niggles. I have changed a few numbers in the panel.cfg file to get the positions shown in the screen shots(Btw my res is 1024 x 768). These settings are always remembered by my 800 and 900 aircraft, though I havent tried the 600 and 700 for these modifications. Below are the succesfully modified panel settin…

Mates-Currently we are unable to reach email addresses on many of the primary ISP's within Australia.Specifically optusnet.com.auThere are others, however- i'll try to compile a list here so that you can keep up to date...Apparently the have been government mandated IP blocking activities in order to provent some type of bank fraud being perpetrated on some servers based in the US. As a result, large swaths of IP addresses are being blocked, and legitimate email traffic cannot be accomplished either. If you are able, please open a free hotmail address or other non-charged account, (DISABLE THE SPAM FILTERS!) and forward your address to us so we can update your account and…

Hi!I don't know if you're already aware of this but at the BAV forum I found this link to Boeing's own complete operation manuals for the 737 and 747! (Although just for the classic 737's) Just thought it might be of some interest, cheers!http://www.happypilots.de/html/body_tools.html/fredrik granfors

I would like someone to explain me the weight logistics on the 737, specifically the 800/900 series please. When at the loadout screen, I can only put so much on the aircraft without exceeding the max ZFW. I can't even fully load the plane with passengers (which is supposedly very common these days), without having 0 space left for baggage. And that doesn't even include cary-ons.How does it work for the airlines? Why would boeing design an airplane with so many seats that can't be filled? The only thing I could possibly think of is that the 737s rarely have much baggage in the holds. So the way I justify it is that way. Passengers have no baggage, and everything in t…

Hey PMDG. Just wanted to say I love the night lighting. Looks awesome, BUT, with that effect, it would have been nice to have a dome light on in addition to it, to light up everything (like you had in the old -600/700). for purposes of ground operations and the ability to read paperwork, as well as flying in a thunderstorm. You have that idea in the Virtual Cockpit, why not the 2d?

Hey guys, i was flying online the other day and noticed an anomaly in the HDG SEL systemNormally when in a roll mode other that HDG SEL and you then engage HDG SEL, the airplane takes the 'shortest' angle towards that headingbut once in HDG SEL mode, the airplane should follow the direction in which the HDG SEL knob is turnedI noticed this is not modelled in our current sim (Version 1.4)Anybody else have this?Cheers

I know that the 737 does not have the ability of programing procedure turns in the SID/STAR/Approach database. However, i know that it is possible to fly procedure turns with LNAV and VNAV. How does this work in the real world? What is the right answer to this? If meeting a procedure turn in flight, what would i do if i was to shoot it with VNAV and LNAV?Roar Andre Nicolaisen

I have a problem with the altitude restriction in the MCP with the PMDG 737-800/900. If I fly in LNAV and VNAV mode, an altitude restriction in the MCP is ignored if the plane approaches the destination airport with a selected runway (Tested at LSZH Rwy 14 or 16, MCP Altitude 4000 feet, 2D-Cockpit). VNAV is correctly disengaged at the MCP altitude restriction, but ALT HOLD is not selected and the aircraft continues to sink in an uncontrolled way.May be this behavior could be corrected with the next patch.I also have to say that the PMDG 737-800/900 are excellent aircrafts and it is a pleasure to fly this highly realistic planes!RegardsReinhard

Are you guys ever going to release a patch for the Beech 1900? There are a few things you could fix like, the strobes floating off the sides of the wings, the beacon flashing before the bottom of the plane lights up, and is there anyway you guys could make the VC gauges update more quickly? Thanks, ScottJ.

Installing and getting a nice repaint went all very well, but each time flying means that after 5 minutes or so the HSI, the GPS and some other instruments get totally black. Reloading the aircraft brings it all back for again 5 minutes. What is going wrong?GZ
