Operating instructions Rev. 1.4 pg. 7-56 shows a green arc on the ND's trackline. I have observed it come and go periodically in flight. What is it trying to tell me and how do I use it? Yes I have read the manual and don't recall seeing anything about it.Also, speaking of RECALL, what does "recall _ cleared" refer to on the taxi and takeoff check list. I am not familiar with the term. I assume it refers to the annunciator caution lights being extinguished, but thats just a guess. Thanks.Dan Hayden

Good morning.I would like to know what documentation there is to support using the FMC in the 737 600/700 at a more basic level. I've got the FMC manual that came with the product, also the PMDG Flight Tutorial and also Tim's Advanced Tutorial V2, and they're all great reads.However, is anyone aware of anything a little easier to understand, especially the programming of the FMC.I don't consider myself particularly dumb, but I am having problems getting my head around a lot of this stuff and find it presumes I already know about Route Discontinuity (for example).There is so much in this product to enjoy, and I have no problem spending the next 12 months putting in the har…

Dear PMDG team.This post is not intended to bark at anyone, nor asking anything if not just an answer to a question.Why did you choose not to support external interfaces?I'm just asking on which motivation you choose to make your software closed to communication with the external world.I know there is a commercial SDK in the works, but that will account for commercial developers, and for the FMC/EFIS only.Just looking for an answerThank youClaudioP.s. i apologize if you have already explained this before, i haven't been able to find it.

how do I turn on the TCAS. The manual doesn't even mention it.

To PMDG:First of all: Thanks for a great 800/900 update!Although the new cockpit looks very nice, I must say I prefer the "Old Style" PFD and Navigation displays that came with the 600/700 to the new "Southwest Style" in the 800/900.Is there any chance that we can get a mod to the panel, so we can have the "Old Style" back for those of us who prefer that display?I'm very much looking forward to the 747! My frame rates at some airports are down to 7 fps. I have a Dell XPSPentium IV 3.06 GHZ1024 MB DDR SDRAM @ 400 MHZ128 MB DDR ATI Radeon 9800 Pro Graphics cardMy hard drive is 200GB and is about 70% free.I have the airtraffic down to 65%, and clouds at 30%.I have defragmented my hard drive, I also shut down all unecessary programs before I run FS9 and PMDG 600/700.I think I have a powerful setup, so I do not understand the low frame rate. I do not have this problem with other aircraft, only PMDG 600/700.Can anyone who has a setup somewhat close to mine suggest some settings which seem to work with them?Any ideas?ThanksStanner

Hi guys. I planned a flight from KSAN to KSFO, and selected LNSAY2.FALCC as my SID (I'm using the defualt one). I noticed that after I reach 4000' I get a route discontinuity and have to manually turn and intercept radials. Nice job on the 1900! Works fine, but I am unable to find the manual that is supposed to exist in .PDF format. I went through the Start menu to PMDG Simulations -> B1900D Flight Manuals, but the file "00_B1900_Manual" that it points to does not exist. I checked the PMDG website, but can't find a downloadable copy of the file.Please help!Thanks,Rob P.

Hello, simmers,There are times when its difficult to know "where am I" when using the VOR/LOC - APP buttons. Situation:1-When within range from the ILS and hearing the radio bip from the VOR, one uses VOR/LOC to intercept the radial. The VOR/LCD signal appears in the LCD in white. You know where you are!2-When interception occurs, the VOR/LOC mark in the LCD will go up and framed in green, and the plane starts to follow the radial. You know where you are.3-When APP is pressed, there's no signal in the LCD, except that your APP light is on. So, you still know where you are.4-Than APP gets the radial and the APP light goes off! No clear indication on the LCD that, yes, you …

I'm really exaust...I've tried all possible settings, changed graphic options on my PC and into FS9 , but still I'm not able to complete a flight with 737NG aircrafts (both 600-700 and 800-900).The incredible thing is that every time I get a black screen, a lot of activity from the disk, and the MS error window, and each time the error is different from the previous. I got errors from util.dll, panel.dll, 2d.dll, 3dgd.dll, and so on....These errors doesn't appear with other aircrafts. I've tried the same flights with other aircrafts (A320, Mad Dogs 80, and a 763) and the error doesn't occur.I've tried changing my AGP setting from 8X to 4X in the bios, but it was the sa…

Just wondering - I know PMDG are working on integrating a functional Inertial Reference System for the 737 lineup and I wonder if this will be modeled before the release of the 737 Boeing Business Jet jet or as an upgrade requiring future purchase of the BBJ package. I have received the warning message on the main display, "Air Cond" in yellow. What exactly does this mean, is the air conditioning failing? I don't program the FMC or mess with any switches besides the basic ones needed to fly. Thanks!

Hey guys,I'm wondering if anyone else is having a problem with the TCAS RA commands in the 737-800. I noticed a discrepancy between the voice commands i receive in the sim versus those in real life. I recently had the displeasure of witnessing a corrective RA from the jumpseat of a CRJ while on descent into Burlington, VT. I tried to recreate the scenario in the sim, and was surprised by the differences. I understand that each and every encounter is different, and the commands generated, may be completely different than during another similar encounter. Hi all,I've done a search in the forum and I read a similar topic (http://forums.avsim.net/dcboard.php?az=show_topic&forum=136&topic_id=48565&mode=full) without a solution.My framerates are steady locked at 30 using 737-700 2D winglets, however it stutters every second on the ground (no matter which airport). Questions:1 - How can we have constant good framerates and stutters at the same time? 2- It only happens on the ground. In flight, with overcast or 3D clouds at 100%, performance still at 30FPS and NO STUTTERS whatsoever.I already decreased the LCD framerate on PMDG menu, and lowered sound quality to medium, did not help though.
