    I am unable to arm the emergency exit lights. After flipping the switch the mouse cursor changes to a plus sign '+' and no matter where I click the cover just closes and the switch does not toggle so the UNARMED light never dissipates and changes to ARMED.The problem exists under FS2002 and FS9. I am using v1.3 under FS2002 and the latest v1.4 with FS9.Any help would be appreciated.

    I posted this in another topic, but as the initial subject was completely different I decided to post again.1. After I get a FMC saying that it would be a steep descent, I got this message: "DES PTH UNCHIEVABLE". VNAV disconnected. Shouldn't it descend as quickly as possible and *try* to be at the selected altitude even if it's not possible? Is it a PMDG FMC bug or I should use VS on steep descents?2. When I have my gear down VNAV start to behave strangely. It tries to speed up using a higher descent rate and don't care about the planned altitudes. What is happening?Any help is appreciated!Thanks,

    This is just a curiosity question:I've always wondered why on the 737NG (any model) overhead panel as implemented, indicator warning lights for the center fuel tanks are always off regardless of the state of their respective pump switches.Those for left and right tanks come on when their pumps are off.Perplexedly yours,

    Hello to all PMDG pilots,First of all PMDG, I love you products. Thank you very much and 'bravo'.Now, this post is about a small feature I'd like to see in the forthcoming 747. It is the possibility to set in the FMC a trigger that would pause FS at some point along the route. This feature is implemented in PSS A340. PSSA340 has a setting so that it pauses FS when TOD is reached. IMHO, it would be great to pause 'at some waypoint' especially in these long haul birds... and not only at TOD.It could perhaps be some 'hidden' compulsory attribute of a waypoint so that realism of FMC display is not polluted.(or does anyone know about any independant tool that could pause FS af…

    After a month of owning, flying, learning, and crashing the PMDG 737 I have a couple questions :-lol1) VC Co-pilot Call outsFor some reason in the VC I do not hear the altitude and Vspeed call outs. I found this the hard way. I was taking off with the VC for the first time, with the FMC programmed with the Vspeeds. I started my roll, got down 3/4ths of the runway and I still had not heard 80 KTS. I look down and I'm at 160!     When I go to install the 737 I get to the vary first file and it wants to Skip a file in my WINDOWSFonts folder called arialn.ttf (which is Arial Narrow) and then it the install lockes up - I have tried removing this file and this time it says that it is updating the file and it lockes up.And i dont know what to do.If anyone could shed some light it would be greatly appresheated.Thanks for your time,Zach

    I have a minor problem with the control wheel steering in the 800/900. First off I am using the PFC JetLiner console, JetLiner Yoke and PFC pedals, all connected via serial port, not USB or game port. If I have the auto pilot turned off the plane handles smooth as silk however if I simply turn on the "CMD" button with no other modes selected then I can "feel" what I assume is the CWS fighting the roll axis when I try to make turns. The PFC equipment uses their PFC.DLL module to interface to FS9 and as such does not show up in the "options/controls/joystick" menu selection.     Hi!One thing I noticed during my last flight with the -800:On the FMC's descend-page, you can see the current FPA, the recommended FPA and the required v/s to stay on the calculated VNAV-path (AFAK).I thought that the v/s and the recommended FPA were also shown during cruise and not only on descend.I watched a video (Goflight, from EGSS to Portugal and back) where the captain showed this page during cruise and explained that the v/s showed at which vertical speed they should descend from the current position to match the 1st alt. constraint in the FMC (was only around 200ft, because they were still far away).Any ideas?Best regards,Stefan

    Hello All -I having trouble with the FMC during my descent/approach phase of flight. After ATC gives me my vectors for approach, I selected the assigned runway in the dep/arr page of the FMC, then follow the heading ATC instructs me to. Now when I view the Progress or Route page of the FMC I receive the Route Discontinuity msg. The approach shows up at the Airport, but if I'm flying away from my next waypoint the ATA and Distance are messed up.I guess my question is, what is the best way to fix this Route Discontinuity? Should I throw a waypoint in before the IAF? Or do I just "Direct-To" my IAF? If so, whats the best way to do that in the FMC? Of course I'm at wor…

    Hi,I notice before engine start that the bleed air pressure from the APU is about 15 PSI with all PACK's "OFF" and isolation valve open and that I think is not enough to start the engine's, according to a Colleague of my, how is engineer, you need at least 25 PSI to open the starter valve. but the pressure needed to start the engine's is around 30 to 35 PSI according to the engineer. If the APU can only deliver 15 PSI, this APU needs to be replaced "in real life".I don't now if anyone else having this problem?Thanks.Greetings Mark

    Hello,I created a simple flight plan in FS Navigator, latest version, updated sid/stars etc. for your awesome 737-800It is burbank STAR runway 8 (or 9, forgot, theres only one option)arrival is san jose STAR 30 LI use auto-create after setting my airplane as a 737, cruising altitude, etc.Now I use the PMDG export utility, and load it in the FMC in FS9.... and right then it gives me "disco inserted after AVE"What am I doing wrong???     hi, maybe you can help me with a problem i have on the PMDG 737 radio, and the problem is that in some point of the flight, the radio stop to respond.it hapand with all the series of 737 PMDG.that's mean that i don't have any ILS, that meat that i can't changefrequencys on the radio panel.i have tryed everything, even to uninstall the simulator and install it without my saved fils.maybe it is somthing that i do not operate correctly, maybe it's somthing else.i will be very happy if you will tell me what to do.thank's anyway

  22. I used to fly the PIC767 with FS2002 using FDC, now I changed to the 737NG with FS2004.Problem:The PIC767 hat a switch to switch off thie inbuilt sound of the panel (80 knots / 100 knots etc). This is much better done by the virtual copilot in FDC.How can I switch off this sounds in 737NG to use the FDC again?     Hi,I am currently running the PMDG 737 on a P4 3Ghz machine in hyperthreading. What I would like to know from other P4 users is if I should let the machine run in hyperthreading or not.I thought that in a previous post regarding that matter, some users had to disable the P4 hyperthreading mode because of troubles with the PMDG 737. Personally I have it running in HT from the time it was released and had not one problem with it.Second question is if performance would increase without HT or not. Did anybody try this?     I am trying to understand the workings of the new pop-up chnrongraph, selectable by means of the View Switch. As far as I can tell there is no description of this instrument included in the PMDG documentation.The problem I am seeing has to do with what happens when the sim is paused and unpaused. Whenever the sim is paused, both the clock and the elapsed time display stop as expected. However, when the sim is subsequently unpaused, while the clock resumes from the time at which it stopped, as expected, the elapsed time indicator resumes with the display showing the cumulative time during which the sim was paused added to the elapsed time shown when the sim was paused.…
