Hi chaps,I have mostly been flying the -800 since the release and I do love this plane very much, and recently i have started flying the -900, but I noticed something a bit strange.When you rotate the -900 the elevator performance seems to be exagerated, a slight input results in massive nose up. I believe I have set the trim correctly to 4.6 iso 4.9 , but still the -900 has a much greater rotate movement than the -800.Am I doing something wrong or does the -900 elevator have more deflection for a given input, or maybe the flight model needs a bit of tweaking?Many thanks in advance, as usual! :)mcbootus

I have all the 737NG modules.They are fantastic. As a real world pilot rated on all Boeings except the 747's, I find the NG simulation THE BEST.I would really like to have an excellent 777 to fly with FS9. I've just moved on out of the stone age and exchanged my ageing Gateway monitor for a Mitsubishi 93SB 19" and WOW... I can't believe what I've been missing, especially with PMDG's 737s. The detail is now fantastic especially the night lighting, which before was basically a black panel background with very dimly lit gauges.Awesome. John

Hi there everybody!I just bought the 737NG and I think it is really great.So I started doing a repaint of Olympic Airways,using the official paintkit.In it there are these files for the fuselage: 700_full_left.psd,700_full_right.psd,pmdg_700_fuse_t.psd.I used the 700_full_left.psd and 700_full_right.psd to do the repaint,but then I realised that the game uses the pmdg_700_fuse_t.psd as texture.Therefore I pasted the job I had done in the other two files into the pmdg_700_fuse_t.psd.But no matter how hard I tried,the textures were offset in the game(you could see the trimming wasn't in the same line).Any tricks on how to do it correctly?I am using Photoshop 7.0.Thank you v…

Hi there,I recently bought the 737NG 600/700 package and I am very happy. Once I have mastered everything I am sure the 800/900 update will follow...I have a couple of questions though:1) I bought the full CD package which should include SU3. If I check the aircraft.cfg it says SU3 indeed, BUT if I fire up the FMC it says SU2. How is this possible?2) I have no problem getting the stairs down (using the reccomended CTRL+F10 key), BUT they won't come up using the CTRL+F9 key. It is assigned in the key assignments within FS under FULLY concorde nose up. Anyone else having this problem and how to fix it?3) In flight (cruising) the plane isn't steady. She keeps rocking slowly …

I understand the TCAS was updated in the 737 800/900 update, but does it work at all in the 600/700? I can't get it to show any traffic, and I have had quite a few close calls. I don't have a full copy of FSUIPC, just the freeware one, but I thought there was a code you could enter or something. Anyway to get the 600/700 TCAS working?

I bought the 737 NG a few months ago and I have tried everything to get it to work and ....nothing. I have a laptop with better specsa that i want to try it on but I don't have internet on it so would it be possible to get a box version to try it on the lap top? Tyler

Hi I have 600/700/800 and 900 boeing aircraft installed. How come I don't see the wipers working? I turn them on on the overhead panel but doe not see them moving when viewing from the outside? Can ne1 help me with this?

hiya,can anyone tell me if their PMDG 737NG is crashing to the desktop randomly? Mine does! I could be after 10 seconds, a minute or two hours, but it just randomly goes down! I haven't installed the interim patch, I'm going to wait until the full one, (I can't fly with frozen radio's anyway). The interim patch mentions nothing about fixing crashes, are PMDG aware of the problem?Cheersrichard

HI,When entering intersections in the RTE pages how do you exit the "desired waypoint screen" if the intersection you require is not in the database, for example page 8 of the FMC user's manual "Wooley" has two entry's if you do not wish to select any of them how do you get back to the RTE page with the intersections you have previously entered.Regards,Pabs.

If anyone's interested in a Continental livery 737-800 with winglets, follow these steps below. Please be careful when editing the aircraft.cfg files.Download the Continental 737-800 livery and install it. After it's done, go into the PMDG737-800 directory and copy the directory "texture.CO" to the PMDG737-800-WINGLETS. hey guy' i dont know if this makes a difference but i replace the power supply today from 300 to 400 watt and it made a difference to the smootheness of flightsim with the pmdg a/c? anyway on friday i'm getting my new p4 3.2 prescott with my 9600xt radeon 256mb card ,1024 of ddr kingmax 400 ram it should be a not bad system agree . hey what about the power sup would it make a difference cheers mark d p

Hi all,Does anyone know why my airstairs have decided to stop working recently?I had followed the instructions in the manual and website to assign keys to the Extend and Raise Concorde Nose visor to be able to operate the stairs, and everything was working totally fine for quite some time.Lately I have noticed that the keys no longer work until I re-assign to different keys and use it again. Hi,I notice that ATC with some of the livery add ons do not call with the livery name ie: Virgin ....... or Lufthansa ....... Some liveries are called such as Qantas, but no others. You noprmally only here ATC calling with 737.Any ideas?? Not a massive problem, but it would be nice.737 ng 600,700,800,900 with FS9. Liveries: Air China, Lufthansa, FedEx, ANA, Continental, Delta and Air Berlin.Thank you................Iain

Has anyone programmed a button or switch on the Saitek X45 to bring up and close the FMC?

I read many many things about takeoff.Can anyone care to post a decent checklist?I get confused with to/ga, v2+xx and so on.Especially, when i takeoff with to/ga, the A/T never selects the v2+xx even if v speed are entered in the fmc.Thank youClaudio
