Is PMDG going to continue the PMDG Express line? I would really like to see some more express planes.

Whenever I try to load a Flight Plan starting or endingat Miami, I get a rwy error message on the FMC displaywhich invariably means I cannot proceed with the loadingof the aircraft or select SID/STAR.Would appreciate any advice on this problem and apologiesif this has been asked before.

Wonder if any of you gentlemen have good knowledge of which headset would work best without shutting the flight sim sounds out from the main speakers, yet allow the controllers voice to come over the earphones? I don,t really require stereo, but it would help, I do need comfort and durability, I can use a usb or plug straight into souncard.At the moment, I only have a bog standard desktop mike.Your comments would be welcome, thanks.

HiMy son and I were watching the above show on the History channel and they did a segment on simulators as applied to the military and the crossover to civilian use.They showed one piece where a guy had setup a cockpit from a real 73 and I think that the software was from the PMDG NG from the looks of the avionics/external views.Did anyone else happen to catch that show?I guess it`s been a couple of weeks gone by now.Samuel

I would like someone to tutor me in the function of TOGA. It seems that this is some hidden secret. We click on a screw and all sorts of automatic systems take over the throttle system. I need to know what it is doing and when it is doing it. Does the TOGA function up to a certain point or when does it cease. onandon with questions. If someone could give a complete rundown on how to and whn to? Is this a real life system and if so why is it represented as a screw on this panel and a light you press on the MS versio. Is there a button or a switch or a knob in the real world?Someone help me,Timothy C.

Could somebody please clarify the situation in case I am doing something wrong. Last night I submitted a post ( Overstressed )and signed it with my name "Geoff". I was then asked by Randy if that is my real name, which it is, but only for the last 39 years. .....or do I have to get it from somewhere else?I read people are using the TCAS, and I can see it mentioned on the radio panel, but how do I get it?Is there a button I need to push/check, or is it a separate download from somewhere?Please help this blind old fool.CheersTim

Maybe I overlooked it in the forum and in the docs, but is the TCAS only functional in the 800/900 series and not the 600/700 series? Thanx!-Rick

Hi again all,I have a new problem that I hope to get sorted :)When I take-off or am in flight, I get the "Flying Tip" saying the fuel is low, and hit Ctrl + Z (I think) to refuel...I am not actually low on fuel as I keep fuel to 100% most time...Is this a know flaw or how can it be fixed?Thanks in advance!Daryl

Hi,Nearly ditched my Aloha Airlines B737-700NG into the Pacific today. I was scrolling around the VC using my MSForce Feedback 2 joystick and failed to notice the CWS appear on the PFD. Luckily the centre controller from Radar Contact advised me.Question is, is there a way to disable joystick inputs for flight controls when the autopilot is engaged so the HAT button can be used to scroll at leisure without the risk of altering the pitch or the aircraft with the joystick. And if CWS A or CWS B is needed then it can be selected from the MCP.I am sure that PSS have managed to stop flight control inputs when the autopilot is disengaged to allow scrolling of the VC on their Ai…

Hi guys,I had a flight as a passenger last weekend with a B737-500 without winglets. I could see over the wing, I had a good seat there at 11F. I saw NO flashing postion light there. Notred or green etc. NONE! So, I suppose one sees the light NOT from the cabin but outside the airplane.Somehow somewhere I found the checklist about the B737. There the landing lights are to retract just after climbing through 100FL. Well, somehow they were retracted just after takeoff within the climbchecks where climb beginns.The flight I had from EDDM to EDDC I experienced a checklist failure of the pilots. They started the APU ok. They started the engines while pushback. Ok. BUT they DID…

Yesterday I prepared for a short german domestic flight from EDDM (Munich) to EDDT (Berlin-Tegel). So low on weight and with a runway lenght over 10000 feet I set the aircraft for Flap 1 takeoff performance. Approaching the runway and move the throttles forward to set takeoff thrust the takeoff warning horn starts peep peep. So I checked the aircraft setup, but everythink looks normal. FMC programmend to Flap 1, trim o.K., FMC calculated speeds crosschecked with performanse charts.Whats going wrong?Best regards Stefan

How do I get the NM to show up on the FMC (flight map ?).I can view it when I switch to the FMC and the "progress" screen, however when i I am in the normal(navigation mode) screen it just shows up as dashes...Any help would be apprecaited.Cheers,irish3

Since installing this Aircraft I have flown nothing else as it's so brilliant, until last night that is.I have been flying around the Far East including Australia/Japan/China and am making my way back to UK across Russia in 1000 ml (2 hr) stages.I created a flight plan in FS9 from UWLW (Vostochny) to UMMS(Minsk2)and then tried to programme the FMC but with each Airport or waypoint I got "not in database".So I had to change to another aircraft I chose the Aerosft Eurowings A320-200 with dual Nav either FMC (same as the Dreamfleet 737) or GPS as in default.I programmed the FMC with no problems at all, every waypoint was accepted and I flew a perfect flight.How can one FMC…

Hi everyone,I have noticed that the rolling sound while both taxing and takeoff cannot be heard on my rig. I can here the "thump" when I touchdown, but then hear nothing else on the rollout. Am I missing a wav file, I have checked the folder and I do have the wav files.
